Thornclover flicked his tail in gratitude. "Thank you Smokepatch." Thornclover headed over to the patch of bog that Smokepatch had gestured to. He sniffed the air for signs of prey. He surprisingly found the scent of a mouse on the wind. He dropped down into a crouch and stalked it slowly. He sprang up into the air and caught the mouse. He started to search for more prey.

Stormdash looked plainly at the sky. She loved Rain, and storms in general. She shrunk back when she heard lightning saw lightning flash in the sky and looked at Shadestar. "We should rest in our dens, we don't want to get caught by the lightning." She said and walked into the warriors den. The lonely she at sighed, and sat in her lonely nest. Her sister didn't get along with her, and she didn't have friends.

Starlingpaw sat in camp now, her fur plastered to her body. She was looking a lot better then before, and her wounds had finally healed. when she heard thunder though, she shook in fear, she was more skiddish after the fox attack. Worried and afraid of the smallest things, though almost all where sudden things that went and passed quickly. Things that surprised her, and left her in fear of them.

(Yikes, and here I was worried that I would be lost in the RP but not even a single page has gone by!)
Smokepatch shuddered as a crack of lightning spread out across the sky and the clouds broke open, rain showering down on them. She picked up the frog she had managed to catch and turned around, her head swiveling madly as she fought for a glimpse of her clanmates. "Noisepaw? Thornclover?! Is anyone out there?!" She yowled, panic quickly rising like a lump in her throat. The landscape was dreary and misty before, but now that the rain had moved in visibility had decreased to 4, maybe 5 foxlengths ahead of her. Smokepatch moved forward at one, her pace quickening nearly to a run as she started off in the direction she remembered her clanmates being.
-----
Yellowclaw watched nervously, unease prickling at the fur along his spine as if the air even in starclan cracked with the electric energy of the thunderstorm. He shook his head. Not good, this is not good at all.. He remembered the storm which followed quickly after his death, distracting the cats from the tasks of the murders at hand. He felt uneasy- life was returning to normal, despite there being no progress made towards solving his and Robinstar's death. Was this storm some kind of punishing force sent by a power even higher than he knew, set on destroying his beloved clan?
"They need to head back immediately... they should have turned tail at the first signs of the storm. Why are they still out there?" He murmured, mostly to himself. What could the cats of Starclan do to help?
-------
Badgerheart padded into the center clearing of the camp, staring gloomily up at the sky as the first drops of rain began to fall on the camp. At least it wasn't terribly cold- he remembered warm air storms like this from his youth, and he silently hoped that the camp would not experience any flooding. The previous night, Iceflight had warned that a test was coming for the younger cats, and he feverishly hoped that it wouldn't come in the form of some kind of destruction to the camp. Surveying the camp, he noted with slight confusion that there seemed to be less of his clanmates lazing about in camp than usual- and the warriors den, which he had just emerged from, was certainly not full...
Feeling uneasy, he padded over to the tall rock where Shadestar stood, also surveying the camp. "Shadestar, did you send out a dawn patrol this morning? And if so, do you know if they returned...?"

"I didn't send them out, but they aren't back yet. I'm going to go look for them, I have 9 lifes to live, but they...they only have one." She said, "Watch camp, make sure every patrol leaves with multiple cats." She instructed Badgerheart. She began to walk out of camp, and sighed, recognizing possible dangers in going alone. She waited to hear if any cat would argue.

Badgerhearts ears twitched irritably, holding back a stinging remark. "Shadestar.. don't you think your efforts would be better suited to giving your leadership here in camp? If the storm worsens, cats may be afraid. Why don't we take stock of who is in camp first and then decide if any patrols need to be sent out?" He meowed, keeping his tone diplomatic. He wasn't necessarily fraught with worry- perhaps the leader would be lost forever in the storm and he would be rid of her once and for all! But he chided himself, forcing his words to come out in a suggestion he felt would be best for the clan. "Besides, certainly you don't expect me to just let you walk out there along, especially after you just specifically instructed me to not let any patrols go out without multiple cats?" He rumbled, a bit of an edge to his voice. Was she testing him or something...?

"Agreed." Dappledream said, her eyes watching the skies. "Perhaps...we an Star Walk and warn them?" She asked. Her eyes watched the forest floor bellow Starclan as rain landed on it. "A storm is not good to get caught in." She said, remembering her own death, she slipped due to the slickness of the watery rocks caused by the storm. She shook the memory away, and stood watching. Okay, as per usual I do not want to be mean. But I am tired and I am going to be blunt. This is not okay Lynx. I have been nice and brushed it aside before. But not anymore. What is this now. The fourth time? It is beyond rude. You can not shove Dappledream into every interaction Cinnamon and I have between Yellowclaw and Snowfawn and then say that Snowfawn constantly hovers around Yellowclaw and obsesses over him. It is clear you haven't read anything. I specifically said Snowfawn found Yellowclaw alone and now they are watching alone. There is no other cat with them. You can't drop Dappledream in there as if she was with them the entire time because she was not. If you asked Cinnamon and I would be more than happy to include her in this patrol. But so far you have never done so and I am sick and tired of it. I don't care if you're a MOD in this roleplay. This is our character interaction and I will not let you step in on it. I will say right now I am ignoring Dappledream in my next post.)

You guys have done so much that ticks me off and gets on my nerves but I don't go be a jerk and make them feel like crap. That's because I don't like offending people so I let go of what bothers me. And for your information I never used the excuse I'm mod to get anything I want. The fact you think so is a bit offending, also the fact that instead of being respectful you literally snap at me for me not reading something by accident. Also, I never said she hovers around him(Snowfawn does), Dappledream did out of jealousy, it's called doing your character. Anyways, i'm out, good night. No offense to you, but I am tired of dealing with this stuff, I don't show it, but it does actually get to me. But that probably doesn't matter Anyone, anyways, goodnight, have fun. Deleted the post for you by the way.)
(Also, I know you know I didn't mean to be offending, but in case this post didn't make it obvious, I'm a sensitive person. People that matter to me can upset me without meaning to(Basically, you guys I respect, so comments like this bother me). Therefor, the comments in the post above are not mentioning you per say, just how generally people can treat me, on other threads, conversations, etc.)

(I was trying to let others respond, but I guess I've waited long enough.)
Cinderstorm struggled to turn around. Her paws brushed against fur that wasn't her own and she pulled Pricklepaw back up above the surface. Finally, she gave up and let the frog drop from her jaws. "We have to get to higher ground!" She tried to call over the noise, but water got into her mouth and she spluttered, coughing. She helped Pricklepaw along the way. It was clear they weren't going to make it to the meeting tree. They had to keep moving forward or the water would catch up with them.
"I can't read minds." Snowfawn shook her head. "I couldn't tell you. But right now, they need our help." Her fur prickled and rose and she watched an apprentice nearly get washed away from her mentor. "I don't think there's anything we can do for them at the moment. Our voices wouldn't reach over the storm." Nature was more powerful than Starclan after all. "But we can keep track of them all and help lead them home when the storm dies down." Her eyes landed on the boundary of Starclan as the pair made their way out of the dreadwash and Starclan's sights... "Will you come?"
Ivypaw's ears twitched. He padded over to Badgerheart and prodded him gently to get his attention. Stretching up on his hind paws to bring his voice closer to his mentor's ear, he spoke as loudly as he could without hurting Badgerheart. "I think we should gather everyone. Any cat who's seen the dreadwash flood will know that this is plenty to make it happen. It'd be best to beat the water before it sneaks up on us, don't you think?" And it their 'chosen leader' wanted to abandon the clan now, why stop her? Badgerheart was a much better leader after all.

(I'll respond before leaving, for now I just want to cool off, I'm not as much upset as I am flustered and aggravated.)
Shadestar sighed, "I guess you're right, I'm just..." she sighed, "I'm just worried about them..." she whispered. But she understood where he was coming from, but not his intents. "I just, I don't want to in danger anyone, and I have more life's then anyone else, I can afford to lose one, but is anyone else did, then..." she sighed, trailing off as the storm cut her off, Wind blew and rushed against her face, leaving her fur rustled and frizzed.

Deleted the post for you by the way.) You don't have to read every post of every page, Lynx. But if you're going to jump in on something, the least you could do is read around it. Clearly Yellowclaw wasn't just talking to himself. You could have gone back and seen what had gone on between him and Snowfawn. Like I said before, if we do something that ticks you off then tell us. It's not our fault if you don't. You think I bring things up to offend people? That's pretty offensive in its own way. I bring this up because it's my right as part of the roleplay to speak my mind when something ticks me off. I don't do it for every little thing, but this behavior of yours with Dappledream has been repetitive. I snap when I'm pissed. It's not because you 'didn't read something by accident'. It's because you refused to read what you were jumping into and that isn't right. Even if it's 'doing your character' it's not correct because it's not true. Said out of jealousy or not doesn't matter. If not being afraid to speak up when something isn't right makes me a jerk, then fine. I'm a jerk. I don't care.)

((anyway i just came back and saw some big posts of ooc arguing, my first reaction to that is to panic, so i think it'll probably be better for all of us if i keep my mouth shut about it, but i hope this doesnt become a huge problem? aa,,))
Slatestorm looked back over at camp from her guard spot to Badgerheart and Shadestar, hardly able to hear them talk over the crash of rain but getting the gist of the conversation. "If you're looking for some of the warriors and apprentices, I saw Cinderstorm lead a patrol out to hunt before the storm broke out!" she shouted at the top of her lungs to try and make sure they could hear her. "Haven't seen 'em since!"
Terror struck Noisepaw as they realized they couldn't tell where they were going, the wind and rain battering their pelt. This was so, so much worse than the last storm. They began to run, not sure what direction they were going, just desperately trying to get close to a warrior.
Dustsong curled up under an overhanging rock, eyeing the sky with distaste. "Looks like it'll be a long one."

Badgerheart scowled, frustrated by his leader, like usual. Always letting her emotions lead her, rather than logic and pragmatism. Typical of a Starclan picked cat.. He squinted his eyes, buffeted by the wind. He saw cats diving for cover, sliding into every den and nook and cranny they could find to prevent the wind from cutting into their fur. His thick mane, luckily, kept him mostly dry and warm, and he could not wholly sympathize with his short furred clanmates. He was about to suggest that Shadestar simply go back into her den when he heard Slatestorm's voice above the howling wind. "They what?" He growled, trying not to seem as outwardly irritated as he was.
Smokepatch continued to run forward blindly, hoping to run into some other cat. She could hear the cracking of trees in the distance, and occasionally a branch or larger limb would crash to the ground near her, flinging up mud and startling her. Suddenly, she crashed into something- someone? Smokepatch prayed with all her might that it wasn't one of the foxes, come back to prey upon the cats in the cover of the stormy weather. However, as her eyes adjusted and she got a clearer look at the mess of jumbled torbie fur in front of her, relief washed over her. "Noisepaw! Oh thank goodness!"

Cinderstorm finally made it to harder ground. She helped Pricklepaw to walk and she quickly took shelter under a tree. She wrapped her body around Pricklepaw to try to help ease the cat's shivering. The rain was freezing and unwelcome. Her ears flattened against her head. Why didn't she turn back when she could? There wasn't much of an answer for that...All she could do was wait out the storm and hope the others found shelter as well.

Slatestorm shrugged, though the worry for her clanmates was evident in her expression. "I don't know how far out they went, but I know that Pricklepaw and Noisepaw were with 'em!" She personally felt that a search party in this weather would be a wasted effort, likely only losing even more cats, but she left that feeling unspoken.
Noisepaw instantly huddled up to Smokepatch the moment they recognized her with a weak sigh of relief. "Smokepatch, I'm so glad you're here! Do... do you know where the others are?" they desperately asked her over the howling wind.

Badgerheart echoed Slatestorm's thoughts out loud. "As difficult as this situation is, sending out cat's now is only going to result in more clanmembers getting injured or lost. We should hold down here in camp and make sure the dens are fortified against falling branches and other obstacles." He meowed tersely to Shadestar. Without thinking, he turns to Slatestorm "We need cats securing the dens. Find anyone you can in camp to help you- heck, put that useless kittypet and her loner friends to work, if you can. We need the queens and elders sheltered- perhaps in the medicine cat den or in the star rock. I'll work on a headcount" He ordered, naturally commanding authority in the dire situation. he couldn't see Breezewhisper, but he had a prickling notion in his pelt that the deputy might not like the way he took control.
Tough, He thought to himself. Somebody has to be out there watching for the clan. This is just as Iceflight told me- show them you can be leader and sooner or later they won't be able to deny it.
--------
Smokepatch shivered, reminding herself that in this situation she was the senior warrior, and she would need to do her best to guide Noisepaw and keep them safe. "No, I lost sight of them, but they can't be far. We all went off in groups though, so as long as we stick together from here we should manage." She tried her best to sound reassuring, but the cold combined with the pit of fear in her belly made her voice quiver with the wind.
She angled her head around, the rain stinging her face with the force of the wind, messing up her vision in her only good eye. "Can... can you see any place for shelter?" she yowled, keeping her voice above the wind.

Breezewhisper tried to look around but the rain maid it hard to see. "I don't see anything"! He called out his voice filled with panic. What if they ended up getting swept away or if lighting hit one of them!
