"It began when Moss-star murdered our beloved medicine cat and leader" You sit among your gathered clan mates as Silentstar addresses your clan from the high branch. "Riseclan has stolen the lives of our kits, of mothers and fathers, and brothers and sisters- They drove us from our camp! And a generation ago under the peace of a truce they attacked" Silentstar's voice slowly built up as she listed the crimes committed against your clan. "For generations we have battled against these foxhearted murderers paying back the blood debts they owe us and now, now we are almost ready to show our full strength!" Your heart beats faster in your chest and tension fills the air so thick you can almost taste it.
You had lost family during the culling, you had battled with the Riseclan cats on the border, and you had seen how young apprentices were brought back bearing wounds a warrior might only maybe survive. You could still hear in ears the taunting of the Riseclan cats from your last patrol. How they had taunted your small size and quietness.
"It is time to take back what belongs to us and destroy our oppresses once and for all!" Silentstar yowled the yowls of your clan joining her. You lift back your head and let the cry tear from your throat for all you have suffered at the paws of those monsters. Your mind flits back to those Riseclan cats taunting you for your silence-

It will expand to encompass everybody and involve a fight to make peace between the two clans :3 Active Rp'ers will be needed for important positions as the plot line unfolds. No you'll never be alone
It was the brave Snowstar who led our clan when we were forced from our first home. Destroyed by flood and fire, and becoming overrun with twolegs and their strange shiny beasts we had no choice but leave and nothing but the words of our dying medicine cat to guide us: 'Journey to the place where the sun rises and the leaves look like fire' he told Snowstar. But unknown to the rest of the clan Silverwhisker also gave our leader a warning, that no matter what should they find a place they could stay but didn't belong they should leave. It took a long, hard journey half a moon in length until our clan finally met Riseclan and it was from there that everything went wrong.
The Riseclan leader, Crowstar was young and kind, leaf bare was on the way and so many of us had died already. He offered us shelter with his clan for the harsh season and in return we helped carry out the warrior duties. With Silverwhisker dead, and no medicine cat, it was Smallfern the Riseclan medicine cat who taught our most famous medicine cat, Ripplefur (Ripplepaw then) the ways of healing. The Riseclan cats treated us with kindness helping our kits, healing our sick little did we know that their kindness came at a foxhearted price. The leaf bare drew on cold, and incredibly harsh many cats falling ill with green cough. Snowstar died in that outbreak leaving her deputy, Jaggedleap in charge. But with no Great Stone to contact our ancestors with our leader only had one life and it was then that the Riseclan cats began to show their true natures.
Ripplepaw was the sweetest medicine cat apprentice you would ever meet, some would say that she need only speak to you and it was like honey soothing a sore throat. One night with Smallfern out of camp and Crowstar and Jaggedleap on patrols Ripplepaw overheard a talk between the Riseclan deputy, Mossclaw, and a group of Riseclan warriors on how to best drive out Whisperclan. But they didn't just want to drive us out- oh no, they wanted to drive out the elders, and the warriors but keep the kits and youngest apprentices, even the queens if they could. Ripplepaw hurried away to tell someone, any cat of what she had heard. But the few in camp ignored her scared looks. Why would Riseclan turn on us? They had been so kind! Ripplepaw didn't live to see sunrise. She was found murdered in her nest. And it was then that we began to whisper and realise.
But leafbare was stretching on longer then it ever had before. Jaggedleap kept peace with Crowstar knowing that to drive us out now would be to kill his clan and Crowstar was reasonable, the only Riseclan cat without a fox in his heart. And that is what killed him. No cat knows how Crowstar died but Mossclaw and one of our warriors, Mapleleaf returned from patrol with Crowstars body. Before Jaggedleap could say a thing Mossclaw let fly the accusation that Mapleleaf had murdered him- and she needed to be put to death. Before our warriors could defend her the Riseclan cats launched their attack holding us back while Mossclaw murdered Mapleleaf in front of us all. Not even Jaggedleap could make peace with that but he was smart enough to bide his time. Despite protests our leader said nothing at Mapleleaf was dragged away and denied the words that would allow her to walk with our ancestors in starclan. He drew his closest most trusted warriors around him and they planned. Jaggedleap had been given Silverwhisker's warning, they had no place here on Riseclan territory despite how similar it was to their old one. They would leave as soon as his mate Bluefeather and their young kits could travel. Until then no cat was to be left behind.
In the end the planning was all for nothing. Moss-star knew she didn't have much time. He attacked the next night his warriors driving back the Whisperclan cats. But it wasn't simply a battle, no Moss-star was not that kind, he had sent a warrior to steal the kits as debt to all the kindness Riseclan had shown. What didn't go to plan was that Jaggedleap retaliated holding Smallfern hostage, the battle came to a stand still. Moss-star agreed to exchange the kits for Smallfern if Whisperclan left the territory. Jaggedleap agreed but Moss-star was no honest cat with Smallfern secured he turned and launched an attack on Jaggedleap with his back turned. The battle that followed cost both clans half their cats but we were victorious. We drove those murderous, kit stealing, fox hearts back to the edge of their territory and claimed their land for our own. Jaggedleap died of his wounds before he could pass on Silverwhiskers warning and Jaysong became the next leader of our clan.
During Jaystars command we lost more battles then we won, Riseclan invaded our camp and took our home forcing us to our current sliver of territory. It was a blessing when he passed on and his nephew Sheerstar became leader. Sheerstar was the one who led some of our most successful attacks, we had Riseclan running for the mountains! Taking back the territory that was ours, righting the wrongs done to our ancestors- we made Riseclan desperate! And when at last the territories were equal in size between our clans Sheerstar offered a truce to Riseclan. Forget the past move on, the blood debts had been paid. But Riseclan were cruel- what followed is now known as the culling. Under truce Sheerstar brought Riseclan cats to our camp and when we lay asleep they attacked. We lost half our clan. Disease broke out and took another quarter. And Birdstar came into power.
Birdstar was the one who built our new camp, who rebuilt our hopes and our spirits, answered our calls for vengeance. No more the border skirmishes happened during Birdstar's command, but we plotted and planned. We trained and bided our time. Birdstar introduced the Night Guards. Elite warriors trained specifically in ambushes and night attacks. And then came Silentstar, our current leader and the one who will lead us to victory!
It is time Whisperclan repaid the blood debts earned in the culling- it is time we reclaimed the territory that was ours and we chased off our oppressors. This is the land Starclan claimed for us and it will be ours with tooth and claw we will fight for it!

>> Territory
Whisperclan territory is a dense forest with lots of undergrowth and shrubbery (deciduous forest). Compared to Riseclan the Whisperclan territory is naturally darker from the thicker forest canopy. Prey common in the territory includes smaller mammals and birds such as mice, thrush and small opossums. Predators include foxes, owls and raccoons. Predator birds such as hawks are less common in our territory and more likely found across our border where the trees are thinner.
Horse Clearing: Marks the western border, it is a large paddock with a stallion and two mares. Twolegs can sometimes be seen in the paddock but they never cross into our territory.
Rock Hill: Along the North border is a pile of rocks made into a small hill. The cracks in the rocks can hide mice, but they also conceal adders, so caution is important here.
Long Gone Ponds: Long Gone Ponds are a group of ponds that dried up from unknown causes. This isn't a bad place for prey. Located towards the North western part of the territory.
Triple Streams: There are three small streams that are within WhisperClan territory. The point where they meet is known as The Crossing where small stone islands exist, perfect for collecting watermint. One stream makes up the southern border and runs right near the old Whisperclan camp, one heads towards the Tree Clearing near the center of the territory, and one runs East separating WhisperClan territory from RiseClan.
Old Whisperclan Camp: Located near the southern border very close to the Triple Stream. It is located in a jagged crack in the earth which has been hollowed out. The camp has been abandoned ever since the disease outbreak that followed the culling. Apprentices are taken into the old camp as part of their training and must spend a night there to honor the ancestors that died protecting the clan and as result of Riseclan cruelty.
Tree Clearing: An old orchid of fruit trees near the Western border it is a little overgrown now but the most spacious place in the territory. In newleaf it can get very pretty with the blossoming flowers and is the best place to train new apprentices.
Stone Hollow: Near the north western part of the territory, a dip in the ground the becomes quickly covered in fog. There are stones littered through out the hollow and it can be quiet dangerous for those who don't know their skills properly. Used as a site to train advanced apprentices and night guards in ambush training.

The current Whisperclan camp is cat made and has been built since the culling occurred. It is located close the center for the territory more towards the western border.
Camp Entrance: The entrance to the camp is blocked by a pond which is shallow at the edges but quickly grows deeper. As most Whisperclan cats don't swim the pond and be crossed by stepping stones.
Camp Clearing: The camp is surrounded by brambles, thistles, and other prickly and thick plants and bushes that have been moved into place or grow in a natural barrier around the camp. While it isn't impossible to break through the wall of camp the thickness of the wall and how prickly it is does ward off most attackers.
Elders Den: The elders den is located in a hollow beneath two large stones and positioned right next to the nursery.
The Nursery: Located just inside the barrier a little bit beneath a low growing tree that has been sheltered by walls of brambles the warriors have put in place.
Apprentice Den: Located on the opposite side of the camp to the warriors den is stands between the camp entrance and the nursery. It is located beneath a clump of bracken.
Warriors Den: The warriors, is structurally very similar to the Medicine Cat Den, and is positioned opposite the apprentice den. It is the closest den to the entrance and stands between the entrance and nursery. Then den is set into the wall beneath a cover of ivy. The ivy has grown over the shrubs that once stood there creating a roof, any dead shrubs were removed by the warriors to make room.
Medicine Cat Den: Much like the warriors den the Medicine Cat den is set in the camp barrier slightly, a small clearing has been made in the barrier around the base of a tall beech tree. The medicine cats sleep in a small hollow beneath the roots of the tree and the ivy which has overgrown most of the prickly bushes provides shelter for any ill cats. The herbs are stored amongst the roots of some prickly thorn bushes.
Leaders Den: The leaders den is located in the hollow of the Meeting Tree situated right in the middle of the camp. It can comfortably fit two cats but meeting between the leader and other cats are usually held at the base of the roots. It leads right out onto the meeting branch.

Note: Remember the culling and disease outbreak was a rather recent event chances are your cats have lost family in one of the two events or in another fight with Riseclan since. It is not uncommon for cats (particularly older ones) to have a large number of deceased family. You do not have to Rp your cats family, you can simply provide them as support/background for your character!

Silentstar is a small she-cat with a lean frame and short silver and white fur. Her pelt is predominately a light silver grey with faint tabby markings around her legs and darker markings on her face,tail and back of her ears. Silentstar has a white chest and belly with a long scar stretching across her chest and dark blue eyes. Overall Silentstar is known to be a determined, wise, and hardworking leader who will sacrifice everything to ensure her clan gets back their rightful territory. Silentstar worked hard from a young age to get to her position and commands a lot of respect because of this fact though some younger cats in the clan view the her unwillingness to battle Riseclan at every chance somewhat traitorous and wrong. Silentstar is not the kind of cat to let her authority be questioned and any questions to it by a cat who should know better are dealt with harshly. It would be no good to lose the faith of her clan when they are so close to success.

Nightblaze is very similar to his littermate Leafrain in appearance. So much so that on a quick glance cats may struggle to tell them apart. Nightblaze has short midnight black fur with dark bluey green eyes and a slightly longer tail the most cats. He is incredibly quiet and rarely speaks to anyone other than his sister. When he does talk he is known to be harsh, critical and standoffish. Nightblaze is incredibly protective of his littermate, a trait that came about after the death of his mother Echomist. He is never seen near the nursery, in fact kits seem to have an oddly unnerving effect on him. However if there is a cat out there who can break through Nightblaze's silent and standoffish shields they will find a loyal cat set on protecting those important to him- if not dedicated, easily embarrassed by his errors and somewhat awkward. Nightblaze was a newborn kit at the time of the culling where his father, Sootfeather died. His littermate Stormpaw later died on a failed recon patrol into Riseclan territory. This was followed by the death of his older brother Howlingwolf and mother Echomist leaving only Nightblaze and Leafrain behind.

Leafrain and her brother Nightblaze look almost exactly alike in appearance. In fact if it wasn't for the more green hue of her eyes and slightly shorter tail they would be identical. Leafrain has short midnight black fur and a somewhat lithe build to her, perfectly suited to creeping through the thickest and darkest parts of the territory. Like Nightblaze, Leafrain is rather quiet but compared to her littermate might as well be a chatterbox. Soft spoken, patient and literal Leafrain is the kind of cat who tends to take things to heart. While she is somewhat awkward around cats that are not her brother she tends to get on with most, provided they don't expect her to talk too much. The hardest part is getting her to open up and express her opinion rather then simply listening to everything. Leafrain keeps many secrets hidden close to her heart, things others have told her or things she has seen but never felt to act upon. Regardless this quiet little she-cat has more then just her claws to use as a weapon.

Rainfur is a dark grey tom with a long furred coat that has black flecks all through out almost as though he went and stood in some black rain as a kit. His eyes are a bright amber contrasting the rest of his pelt. Though Rainfur may not have the most pleasant coat to look at he is broad shouldered and strong, built for strength rather than speed. Rainfur's personality can be rather hard to describe. He is known to be very organised and clear headed, both traits favoured in battle and times of chaos. He can be playful, respectful and faithful but only towards certain cats in the clan. Rainfur is highly selective about those he trusts, and when you make an enemy of him you do it for life. In battle he is outright malicious and tends to show a very destructive amount of anger. These same traits can come out in arguments among clanmates and any in clan enemies he may have. Thankfully his clear headedness tends to make up for the times his anger runs away with him.

Stoneclaw is a pale grey tom with a large built and thick muscles. Stoneclaw is known to be charismatic, loyal, and kind to his clanmates. Stoneclaw can be quite flirty too. He simply wants justice for the misdeeds done to his clan in the past and lives to ensure his clanmates have the best lives possible. However Stoneclaw personality isn't all poppies and roses. He doesn't like the way Silentstar runs the clan, in facts he believes that she is rather weak and instead somebody else ought to take command. Secretly he is keeping a eye out for cats who feel the same way. His ambition is to become leader. Stoneclaw lost his father during the disease.

Softpaw is a long legged, short furred she-cat, with as her name might suggest, a very soft and gentle appearance about her. She is slender in build with what looks to be very little muscle more built for speed than strength. Her pelt is predominately a dark goldeny brown colour with a darker brown tail, mask, and patches on her legs. Her paws and chest however are creamy white in colour and her eyes a shade of yellow green. Despite what her name might suggest Softpaw really is anything but gentle and soft. Softpaw is protective and a little bit of a secret romantic- though she'll deny it at every turn. She is humorous, forgiving and adaptable to her surroundings but somewhat opportunistic as well. Softpaw will never turn down a chance to better herself. Thankfully she has gained some upright traits from her brother Duskpaw, and is almost always honest but necessarily always loyal. Softpaw is really a bit of a wild card- she has the potential to become a good warrior and Whisperclan cat, or if influenced by the wrong forces the potential to become destructive and deceitful.

Duskpaw is a short furred mostly dark brown tom with a lighter brown chest, belly and markings around the edge of his face. Duskpaw has a lean, muscular build with power hind legs perfect for jumping or running long distances. His eyes are a dark amber colour. There are two things you will never forget about Duskpaw and that is he is forthright and rational. Of course he is also sweet, balanced, and stable but they're in shorter supply. Especially considering they're mixed with a degree of insecurity as well. He doesn't like to admit the hard truths of the world and the first death he experiences as result of his own doings will be a hard one. Duskpaw tends to second guess himself and can take things to heart hiding his hurt at others comments with whatever work game he can bury himself in.

Shadepelt, young for an elder was forced to retire earlier then he would have liked due to a leg injury he gained during the culling. His ragged dark grey pelt is now flecked with lighter bits of grey hair and his body is covered in small battle wounds, his left ear torn. Shadepelt has dark green blue eyes that just in general seem tired. Somewhat bitter about having to retire early Shadepelt can be rather irritable at times when his clan is threatened frustrated he cannot do anything to help. He doesn't mind interacting with the kits and likes to teach them things feeling as though it is one of the few things he can still do to help.

Ripplefur is a small, pretty light grey she-cat with long silky looking fur and light blue eyes. Ripplefur is known to be a kind, and understanding ancestor filled with forgiveness and also regret. She keeps the secret of her death very close guarded and it brings her grief and pain to think about it. Often Ripplefur is the cat who will visit medicine cats in their sleep to deliver warnings or omens. She cares not for the war between the clans and only for Whisperclans safety. (Note: If you want Ripplefur to reveal her death to your character just PM me!)

A disagreeable black tom with a white smudge on his nose and dark blue eyes. Jaystar is an argumentative, bitter tom who regrets many things from his past. He is fierce when it comes to warning his cats about making wrong choices but really gets sent for guidance as his opinions on right and wrong for the clan disagree with most of the other ancestors. Jaystar believes Whisperclan should leave their home and that they do not belong here.

Sheerstar is a mottled ginger, light brown and white tom with distinctive white paws and bright green eyes. He is a large built tom with many battle scars. Sheerstar is a well respected leader of the clan and was known as a wise, decisive, and brave leader. He tends to be more mysterious with his guidance then other cats and encourages cats to listen to their hearts. He believes that the place where Whisperclan now is their rightful home and that Riseclan needs to leave the clan alone.

Mapleleaf is a long furred tortoiseshell she-cat with dark grey eyes and black ears. Mapleleaf was denied the rights to rest with her Starclan ancestors after she supposedly murdered a Riseclan leader. Since Mapleleaf had been banished to the Dark Forest. Her time there has left her bitter at the lack of honor she was given and how she was accused of a crime she did not commit. She wishes pay back upon Riseclan for causing this and on the descendants of the Whisperclan leader who denied her her rights.

Kits: 0-6 moons
Exceptions are made if the kit has an illness or injury that prevents them from becoming an apprentice; the kit is deemed to weak to train at 6 moons; the clan decides to train the kit younger (this is against the warrior code).
Apprentices: 6-13 moons
Apprentices can be made a warrior/night guard as early as 12 moons but most commonly 13 moons. Medicine cat apprentices will usually be an apprentices up until the age of 16-20 moons depending on the sceanrio and the length of their training.
Warriors/Night Guards: 13-100+ moons
Exceptions are made if a cat is too injured and must retire early. If an apprentice is unable to become a warrior/night guard until later for a certain reason.
Mentors: 20moons
Mentors are usually a minimum of 20moons at the time they receive their first apprentice to allow for time to build their skills as a warrior.
Queens: 19-180+ moons
At the age of 180 moons most she-cat lose their ability to safely carry kits. The older a cat the less likely she will queen a surviving litter, and sometimes will produce disfigured, ill or weak kits. She-cats can queen from the age of 10 moons but it is discouraged among the clan as these cats are still apprentices. Kitting at a too young of an age can result in death for queen and kits. Litters are typically between 2-4 kits, with the occasional 1 kit litter. She-cats can kit up to 10 kits but usually a majority or none of the kits will survive until 6 moons of age. Queens will rarely find themselves expecting another litter until their first litter has left the nursery however can expect whilst her kits are 3+ moons old.
Senior Warrior/night guards: 90+ moons
Primary Commander: 25+ moons
Young enough to not be classed a senior but old enough to have had their first apprentice.
Secondary Commander: 40-100 moons
Old enough to have spent a significant amount of time in rank but not so old that they will have to retire to the elders den soon.
Elders: 120+ Moons
A cat may become an elder from 120 moons but typically most serve until the age of 170 moons. Exceptions are made if a cat is no longer able to carry out their duties and must retire.

Apprentices: 6-13 moons
Apprentices can be made a warrior/night guard as early as 12 moons but most commonly 13 moons. Medicine cat apprentices will usually be an apprentices up until the age of 16-20 moons depending on the sceanrio and the length of their training.
Warriors/Night Guards: 13-100+ moons
Exceptions are made if a cat is too injured and must retire early. If an apprentice is unable to become a warrior/night guard until later for a certain reason.
Mentors: 20moons
Mentors are usually a minimum of 20moons at the time they receive their first apprentice to allow for time to build their skills as a warrior.
Queens: 19-180+ moons
At the age of 180 moons most she-cat lose their ability to safely carry kits. The older a cat the less likely she will queen a surviving litter, and sometimes will produce disfigured, ill or weak kits. Robinwing is a lithe dark grey she-cat with black on the back of her ears and a white chest and belly. Her eyes are a dark brown colour and flecked with lighter bits of amber. Robinwing is a forthright, sharp tongued, outspoken and outright sassy she-cat. Her words can be just as sharp as her claws, if not sharper sometimes and she is known to be quite firery. Robinwing used to be in a relationship with Nightblaze prior to his mother dying. Afterwards he broke of the relationship saying that he needed to protect his sister. While Robinwing tries not too she is still hurt by this and can't help but be a little bitter towards Leafrain. All it would take for the right thing to happen for Robinwing to spill what she knows about the two black cats and Foxpaw.

He has dark reddish brown fur with white paws and a white tail tip, the back of his ears are dark brown almost black and his eyes are dark brown. Foxpaw is a energetic young tom. He can be flirtatious but it doesn't really mean he's interested. Keen to prove himself and hard working but not one with natural talents Foxpaw has been bullied in the past for not being as good as some of his younger peers. Though Foxpaw isn't aware of it he is a half clan cat- the only ones who know are Leafrain and Robinwing.
