Raypaw shrugged and stifled an amused grin. "I don't know, must have wandered off after a mouse, but if we catch something before meeting up with my mentor then they'll be impressed and might talk to your mentor's about a more soon final assessment." He persuad, choosing his words.

"Don't bite your tail, we're all warrior apprentices and we've got enough training. If a raccoon attacked we could do a hit and run tactic and could wear it out of scare it by outnumbering it. I've heard dogs kill raccoons, so if we give a few growls and puff out our chest fur I'm sure it'd run with its tail between its legs." Raypaw soothed.

"Yeah, they must be so easy to fend off if Heronstar was killed by them," She retorted, fur bristling slightly. "Look, I just don't want anyone getting hurt." The former rogue mewed, uncomfortable with arguing. It wasn't if she couldn't fight- she was a pretty talented fighter, actually. Hunting, not so much, but fighting for sure. She just didn't want to get into any trouble.She never really felt it her place to argue with her clanmates- they had been in Asterclan much longer than she was, and was always worried they'd bring up her past.

"Don';t worry s much. I know Heronstar was killed by Raccoons, I was just trying to be positive, but if we did run into them, I'd rather die leading them away from camp then flee toward camp endangering all of our clan mates." Pinepaw mewed angrily, stalking away.

Thymepaw walked up to the other apprentices, hoping to make friends, and shyly waved her tail. Her confidence ebbed away and she was afraid of rejection by now, and looked down. She knew she had to get to know them, but she didn't want to be made fun of because she changed from a warrior apprentice to a medicine cat apprentice.

Amberrose finished grooming herself before sitting up and looking around camp. There wasn't much for her to do. She let out a sigh, her tail tip twitching. Her brothers were out together as usual. And it looked like Rainpaw had wandered away too. She wondered if he was aware he wasn't supposed to go out without a warrior. She would have gone had he asked.

"Oh..." Thymepaw said, but then frowned, "I wish I could come with you guys, but i'm not a warrior apprentice anymore." Thymepaw said, "Maybe I can come along with and we could play tag or something, I mean, we may not be kits but on our free time we are aloud to have fun..." Thymepaw pointed out gently. Her cyan eyes looked at the warrior apprentices, and she waited for a answer staying in a gentle pose.

"Sorry Thymepaw, maybe another time. We wouldn't want a raccoon to attack." Raypaw replied, the newcomer wouldn't understand why he gave the kast sentence with such sneer and vile. He wasn't aiming to say that a non warrior apprentice would cause trouble to stir, he wasn't really thinking and didn't care if his sentence didn't exactly make sense. He was angry right now and had to get over it. "Maybe if Spiritpaw wants to amuse you." Again, he wasn't meaning it as Spiritpaw would fail and be a source of jokes, but rather that she wasn't part of his fight and would have a more enjoyable time hanging with Thymepaw.
