Silverdawn only watched Hawkstar go with an blank expression but she began to feel just a bit irritated. Normally she knew he was quite the prickly cat but to glare at her out of nowhere for a simple explanation? And he was the cat they were supposed to appease and respect always? She was beginning to think maybe she wasn't the one in the clan with behavioral issues.
Lilypaw lie in her nest on her side, gazing listlessly at her paws. She wasn't sure what to do anymore. Part of her wanted to go see Minkpaw but she knew the medicine cat den would be too busy.. and, would it even be right to?

After a while, Spiderface noticed that the snakeroot seemed to be improving Minkpaw's condition. I'll have to thank Twistedbreeze for that... He thought. He lashed his tail in frustration. I'm a medicine cat, I should know these things...If it hadn't been for Twistedbreeze, Minkpaw might not have made it. Minkpaw murmured quietly in her sleep.

TwistedBreeze returned to the medicine cat den after awhile. he figured that spiderface could use the chance to get something to eat and stretch his legs. upon reaching the den, the warrior poked his head inside. "how is she doing?" the tom asked quietly, hoping that the apprentice was still deep enough in sleep that he wouldnt disturb her.

Lilypaw's head snapped up, an uneasy feeling began to stir in her stomach. Why was Hawkstar here? Deciding to forget that for now, she rose from her nest and approached him. "..Y-yes?" She answered, doing her best to meet his gaze.

Spiderface was sitting near Minkpaw. He turned, slightly startled, to face Twistedbreeze. "Well she's stopped fidgeting, and seems to be sleeping more peacefully. I think she may be on the road to a smooth recovery." He mewed.

"thats good. you should go get something to eat. i can keep watch until you come back" TwistedBreeze replied. it was more of an order, in reality. he didnt need the medicine cat getting sick or weak from lack of food, or rest. padding into the den, the tom checked the mixture, and then went to get some fresh snakeroot to start chewing up. "you need your rest, and food." he commented to spiderface, sitting down beside the apprentice.

TwistedBreeze's face softened a little, and he dipped his head in acknowledgement. "anything to help the clan" he purred, before giving his friend a nudge towards the dens entrance. "go on. before i have to force you out of the den" he joked.

Spiderface hurried out of the den, coming back moments later with two mice. He tossed one to Twistedbreeze. "How did you know about that snakeroot?", he asked, taking a small bite from his mouse.

TwistedBreeze finished chewing up the new batch of snakeroot, and switched it for the old one. wrapping the wound in cobwebs, he sat back, and sighed a little. "when i was a rouge, i had a group of friends that traveled around with me. some were exhiled clan cats, some were kitty pets that lost their two legs. we all got along fairly well." he explained quietly. "one of my closest friends was a clan medicine cat. he wanted to have a mate, and took one in secret. his clan... they didnt react kindly when they found out. so he was driven out, as was his mate. they came across my path when i still had a place to call home, and i helped them out." after he says this, the tom falls silent, before speaking again, sadness taking over the tone. "we all lived there, in that abandoned twoleg place, for moons. but a dog pack moved in. his mate was out hunting when they came across her, and killed her. he went mad with grief, and went after them. i couldnt just stand by, and let him go in by himself. he died that night. and i was lucky to survive. if he hadnt taught me what he had, about herbs, i would have. i owe him my life." he finished, turning his head to look at spiderface. "that where these scars came from."

Lilypaw wasn't shocked by the question but realized very quickly why he had come. It should have been obvious, but, the apprentice was thinking a bit too much about other things.. Like Minkpaw's health. "Sh-she got bit by a snake." She spoke softly, unsure of what else to say. How could she tell the leader that they had been following a frog instead of hunting?

Foxheart || Male || 24 Moons || Foxheart is a large, long-haired, ginger tabby tom with a white chest and white socks. Despite his size, and the added volume of his fur, he manages not to appear bulky. There is a sleek quality to his build, all long legs and then frame. His eyes are a rich tone of burnt orange, like fire, and equal in their inviting warmth. Stretching from his left should and at a slant across his chest is a scar of three jagged slash-marks. He received it as an apprentice after a run-in with a fox. || Perhaps a bit like a fox, this tom can be rather sly and mischevious. Though loyal, he is ambitious and can be prone to jealousy of warriors who are stronger or faster than himself. The phrase of the day seemed to be 'old habits die hard'. He'd been out hunting arbitrarily when, on the trail of a mouse, he'd run headlong into a patch of briar. Needless to say he didn't bag that kill. Ever since he was a kit, he'd had issues paying attention to detail. It made him out to be a bit if a ditsy clutz but maybe it was endearing that he hadnt changed much, that he hasn't lost those kittenish ways even though he was a warrior now. The only part he regretted was the task he was now tackling of plucking the thorns and twigs from his fur. He had a bit of an annoyed look on his face as he primped and groomed, pulling bits of wood and leaf from his fluffy pumpkin colored fur. "Is there anymore left?" He spoke idly, hearing the soft patter of the paws of a passing cat, "And don't lie, I'd rather not look like an idiot with thorns and things sticking out of my fur."

Lilypaw's expression grew confused. Never once had she ever recalled needing to be supervised to hunt, or atleast not with how far she was into her training now. "W-we all split up to hunt, but Minkpaw sh-she asked me to hunt w-with her-" The she-cat's expression turned shocked for a moment at the sudden voice of Stonefleck. How was any of this his fault? It was her and Minkpaw who thought that sizing up a dark hole was a good idea! Not him..! Feeling a sense of guilt the she-cat shook her head quickly. "Y-You weren't even there!.. S-So don't say that..." She tried to defend the deputy although her attempts to seem strong-headed failed easily.
