Meiko Meiko had ran far from the human village and now was in The Bamboo Trail. But now that she was here, she was hungry. By now those humans would be giving her some leftovers from their meal. I've stayed in that home too long...Even if it was only for three days. A rabbit was quietly running by, and Meiko began to chase it as fast as she could. I'm not letting you get away this time! Yoru Yoru walked around the camp, and spotted at the fresh-kill pile. It seemed to empty at the moment. Perhaps soon the samurai would return from a hunt. He returned to his den, getting comfy and falling asleep.

Yuki & Kenshin
Her ears twitched when she heard a voice come from behind her. In seconds, she turned her head in the direction of the voice to find it's owner, Kenshin. Upon seeing the samurai, Yuki's mouth split into a smile. "Hello, Kenshin-san!" She jumped to her paws. The fact that Kenshin was a samurai was not lost on her. Excitement bubbled in her chest as it always did at the mere prospect of talking to a samurai. Her paws began to knead the ground absently.
"It's a great day, isn't it?" she said, pausing for a second to enjoy the good vibes she felt. A slight breeze ruffling her white fur, the spongy grass beneath her fur, the singing of birds, and the sweet scent of sakura flowers in the air. Her striped tail waved in the air slowly. "It's good for going out and have some fun, don't you think? How are you, by the way?"
She didn't seem at all affected by the fact that she got caught acting like a kit. It wasn't unusual for her, anyway. It was a common sight to see Yuki acting very childlike in some way or another. Some cats would think that she just didn't have any dignity, but Yuki didn't really much care for appearances. She was who she was, so why try to hide it?

Yoru Someone or something was interrupting his slumber. He opened his eyes and saw that it was only a few clanmates talking to each other. He walked toward them. "Hello there, you two." Yoru said, twitching his tail a bit. "Enjoying this nice day we're having, I see."

Kenshin | Tagging - Yoru, Yuki | Camp Kenshin purred at the minarai. The younger cats were always full of life and energy, and only made Sakuraclan a happier place. "It is." Kenshin responded to Yuki's question. It was, indeed, a nice day. The weather was fair, and excellent for playing, or perhaps training. "I'm doing good. How are you?" Almost immediately after answering the white cat, Kenshin heard another clanmate approaching. Although he could tell it was Yoru by his scent, he turned around to meet the tom's gaze, regardless. "Ah, Yoru-san." The angora greeted Yoru.

Yuki & Kenshin & Yoru
Yuki purred at Kenshin's agreement of the day. She was about to answer his question when she suddenly heard another voice chime in. Her head whirled once again towards the direction of Yoru's voice. Her already-present smile widened again when she saw Yoru. After Kenshin greeted Yoru, Yuki gave the wise one a respectful dip of her head.
"Hello, Yoru-san," she greeted. "It's a great day we're having, so why not enjoy it?" A purr rumbled from her throat, and she closed her eyes as she smiled at him. Feeling the need to fulfill her duties kick in, she went on; "do you need something? Should I get you something to eat, or...?"
Yuki knew the bushido code through and through. Of course she did, she'd learned it word for word when she was a kit. It wasn't as if she'd followed it one-hundred percent of the time, but she followed it mostly. Therefore, she was very well aware that wise ones and kittens must be fed above all. But that wasn't the reason why she'd offered Yoru something to eat. No, it was simply because she wanted the elder to be comfortable. She was a helpful cat, no matter how hyper she was. She liked helping cats. And she sometimes like to spend time with their elders. Their stories were indispensable, as well as good fun to hear. Yuki didn't think she would ever tire of hearing them.

Meiko She was close to the rabbit's tail. She could almost feel the rabbit's fur underneath her claws. I'm almost there...Just a little farther... She suddenly tripped on a stone, and the rabbit got away. Looking up, she saw a mountain. But by then, she realized that the rabbit was far away.

Kai & Hayakawa & Hanako | Tags; Rin, Hatsumomo, Akira, and Kotone | Heading Towards the Bamboo Trail Noticing that a few other minarai had tagged along, Kaihime acknowledged them with a slower pace and a nod of her head. The more, the merrier. But she didn't want the party to get too big, so she hastily raced off before anyone else could ask to join them. Besides, they were dawdling, anyways, and Kai itched to get there and hunt. "Let's go, everyone. I think our group is big enough." With that, she made her way into the shelter of the forest trees, Hayakawa and Hanako at her heels.
Tarou | Tags; Izumi | Camp The young tyro's evergreens nicitated as he eyed the congregation of felines gathering outside of the brobdingnagian gate that marked the Clan's ingress. A hunting party, I guess. The sepia male was about ready to go off and meet up with them, however, they all quickly deviated out of the camp before he had a clear chance to call out to them. His physiognomy gave way to slight disappointment, before it transitioned back to its original determination. He had to focus on the task at hand.
"How about we go to Hana Valley, sensei? There are sure to be a plethora of herbs and flowers there, even if it's not spring yet."

Kenshin | Tagging - Yuki, Yoru Kenshin laid down in the soft, green grass, making himself comfortable. "I just got back from hunting myself. The others will probably be returning shortly." The red tom put his head on his paws, enjoying the fair weather with Yuki. "How has training been?" He looked over at the white minarai, signalling to her that he wanted to start a discussion.

( A Notice of Sorts: Phew, so I finally finished SakuraClan's not-so-decent map. So I'm sure this'll clear up the information about the territory and such. The map is not to scale, so don't go thinking that the landmarks are THAT close together. ^u^")
( You'll notice that there's a spot that says "Edo & The Other Clans". This is the more important part.
You all know where Tokyo is, right? Well, back in the days of ancient Japan, Tokyo was called "Edo". In this RP, Edo is close to the Bamboo Trail, and it is pretty much the SakuraClan version of the Twolegplace. The city is nowhere near modern, so just keep in mind that cars, buildings, ect. don't exist. This is Fuedal Japan we're talking about here. The Azai Clan resides in the bustling city of Edo, but they're not that important to the story.
Speaking of the other clans, they all live beyond SakuraClan's territory to the west. There are 6 fairly important ones - the Oda, the Takeda, the Date, the Fuma, the Late Hōjō, and the Azai. But I'll cover those in the second map. Anyways, enjoy! )

Meiko Looking around, she noticed that she was quite far from the human village. But I guess that would be a good thing. She started walking from the way she came, following her scent. Maybe she would find another rabbit to chase.

Yuki & Kenshin & Yoru
When Yoru told her that he didn't need anything, Yuki dipped her head respectfully and sat down. She wasn't entirely convinced that Yoru didn't need anything, especially considering that he'd asked if the cats hunting would return soon. Then he asked Kenshin if he'd caught anything if he went out hunting.
"A group of minarai went out in a hunting expedition," she interjected. "I don't know how long ago they went, but I bet they'll bring lots of prey." And I'll make sure to get you the best catch, she added mentally. Although, to be honest, she was starting to feel hunger bite at the walls on her stomach. Hope they come really soon, she thought. But then, she'd have to eat after the wise ones and the queens ate. Which wasn't a huge problem for her but...
Well, she'd have to get to it when she got to it.
In the time span of just a few seconds, Yuki was beginning to zone out. Her gaze drifted upwards, staring in the direction of the canopy of the trees, her body beginning to sway softly, her paws kneading the ground again. She had only just caught sight of a bird fluttering among the branches of a cherry blossom tree when Kenshin's voice broke her from a reverie.
"How has my training been?" Yuki parroted. A pleased smile crossed her features. "Oh, it's going great! I know the code front to back now, and I'm starting to really know the territory -- not completely though, 'cause there's parts that don't know super well, and I've gotten really turned around sometimes, so there's that -- and I'm starting to see what battles moves I can do!" Now to the bad stuff. At the thought of her hunting skills, her smile slowly diminished. "But... I guess I'm... kinda, maybe... bad... at hunting. I always make a few mistakes... a lot. But I'm sure, one-hundred percent confident, that I can learn how to do it right!" For a moment, her smile disappeared, and her mouth formed into a straight line as she nodded her head solemnly, eyes closed. Then it reappeared again, just as brilliant as before, and though they were closed, wrinkles were formed at the edges of her eyes with the intensity of her smile.

Meiko|Heading towards The Bamboo Trail Meiko was still following the scent backwards. But then something caught her by surprise. It was the scent of other cats. It was far away, and it seemed they were headed the same direction she was. I better be careful...They'll probably try to chase me out if they catch me here.
Yoru Yoru knew what it was like to be bad at hunting. Even as an minarai, he would always trip on his tail and scare the prey away. "Don't worry, Yuki-san. I'm sure if you work hard and practice, you'll be the best hunter in the clan. I remember being an minarai once. I would always trip on my tail and scare all the prey in the area. But I practiced and worked hard, and became a great hunter. You will too someday."
