Fox stretched as she bounced down the hallways, careful to not put too much pressure on her injured paw. She'd heard about the bad state of the returned patrol and was curious and eager to find out what had happened, but first she had to practice her- 'oomph!' She squeaked, bouncing off the body of Oak, and rolling away. She blinked up at him. 'Sorry!' She mewed, standing. 'I didn't see you there, Oak!' She stood back up, leaning on her left to keep pressure off her paw. 'Hey! Have you seen the patrol?'

"Don't let those get infected. They're small, but there's a lot of them." She stepped away from her to make sure she didn't miss any. "You're free to go."

The she-cat stood up and began to pad out of the garden. She felt the torn skin from the fox bite move and sting with each step, and the cold wind lap at her sides. Tawnyclaw decided to take shelter in the castle from the elements while her wounds healed, and made her way across the slippery bridge to the castle. Once in the large stone castle, she jumped onto an old, torn couch before resting her head on the velvet pillows.

There's a conspiracy happening in the garden--one of the herbalists (sandstripe) has a stash of poison and she's considering trying to poison the King, but she's discussing it with some disloyal cats right now. If you want to get involved in that you're welcome to send someone over there, but it won't be the last opportunity for scheming. Or you can jump in anywhere else; I think there are several characters that are open right now. c: ))

Owl briefly smiled,"Going for a stroll is better than staying here trying to talk to dead cats". He softly scoffed.It wasn't the fact Owl felt training to be priest boring. Sometimes he felt like the ancestors ignored their calls, purposely. Days in and out watching his mentor attempt to connect with ancestors gotten repetitive. Always the same silent response which often made him lose his faith in his ancestors. "Pinestep should come along as well,the more the merrier" he added cheerfully.

Pinestep had been in deep thought, the castle's current situation on his mind, when he heard his name being spoken just outside the Ancestor's hall, where Skysong and Owl had been speaking. He recalled hearing something about leaving, and he rose to his paws, stretching, to meet them. His long legs made it easy for him to gracefully move towards them as he spoke. "Greetings. Are you two going somewhere?" He asked, speaking quickly like he usually did. "I could use a walk." Pinestep liked to take every opportunity he could to walk around a bit, or to get out and socialize, or maybe even to test out whatever slightly crazy idea he came up with. He did like his position, but sometimes things can get a little.. Slow.
(I'm sorry this took so long! I typed it out three times because I had to keep changing it.)

(Ahhhh new people!!!!!!!! Hi! My queen, Sunpetal, is open--she's just roaming the hallways randomly. My herbalist Maplefall is open too--Fireh? You have an herbalist open? They could run into each other or something.)
"Hey, Fox!" Oak mewed, ruffling out his fur. "The patrol's back in there. Most of them left, though--the herbalists all finished." He hopped up on his paws. "Hey, do you think after you check up on them you could practice pouncing with me? Duskstorm said to work on it." He felt his stomach sink with the slightly desperate way he'd asked, hoping now his fellow apprentice didn't think he was needy.
