He chuckled. The words 'outside the castle' sounded weird coming from Skysong's mouth. "That's right. If there are other groups out there, their traditions and culture must be different. I think it would be interesting." He fixed his eyes on the sky, which looked peaceful and pretty today, with few clouds scattered across.
(For excitement and drama purposes, shall we have a bird of prey enter the scene?

Flickerpool nodded slowly at the she-cats explanation, feeling a tinge of pride in her words some how. New blood was always a thing to cherish at the very least. Still, with lingering thoughts of their king Stoneheart she had mentioned only moments prior, the ginger tabby could only feel unease for their birth.
Trying to forget that thought for now, the hunter twitched an ear at Sunpetal's string of words. Her expression almost showing her confusion. That was a lot of things she had said, some of which would be very questionable. Considering how their castle seemed to lie with an unfit ruler.
At Archclaw's glance, she nodded her head. "My day has been uneventful." She reported, though she looked to the entrance of the hall. "I still need to go out and hunt today." Added on the she-cat in explanation, though when the words left her mouth she began to feel a sense of guilt. Being in the path of a hunter, she needed to hunt everyday. It felt wrong if she didn't.
Her eyes brightened at Archclaw's question and quickly the she-cat looked over to the expectant mother. "Curious minds want to know." She mewed, extending onto the Royal guard's words.

Owl heaved himself to his paws to shake out excessive burrs or ticks that may of stuck to his coat. His ear twitched annoyance hearing Pinestep talk excessively. Such a strange tom he thought to himself before slipping away into small bush. Something shiny had caught the apprentice's interest in the bush.

Oak purred as Fox head-butted him. "My hind legs were in the wrong place--so--thanks anyway, Duskstorm!" He hopped up, turning excitedly to Fox. "Want to play mossball or something, or check up on the other cats like we were going to originally?" 'Wrong place?' He awkwardly said, before watching as they bounded off together, and looking helplessly at Sandstripe and the other cats. 'Who pawned that one off on me?' He asked. 'And who does the other one belong to?' He further questioned, even more confused. 'Mossball sounds fun!!' Fox squealed, pouncing playfully on Oak's tail as they ran. 'Ooh ooh can you climb trees?' She then gasped. "I can try!" Oak replied, tumbling over his paws and popping up in one movement. "I don't know if I ever have. Is climbing trees part of guard training?" He swished his tail and looked back over his shoulder, hoping Duskstorm hadn't been too confused by their flurry of voices and fur. |

Flickerpool nodded a bit excitedly at the names the she-cat had said. Generally, she didn't think it would be wise to name before knowing how the kits would look, but there was a chance that Sunpetal; had thought up such names for important reasons. "Those sound like good names." She commented quite encouragingly. Her attention was quickly caught by what she had said soon after though, mildly confused for a moment. Could Sunpetal have really been dying from boredom? Wouldn't that be a hazard for her kits? Giving a small shake of her head from the thanks, the tall ginger tabby turned, only to look back to the expectant mother for a moment. "If you really might be dying, it would be wise to go see a herbalist." The hunter commented bluntly. Feeling that the least she could do was advise caution for the mother. New blood was important regardless of their current situation within the castle after all.
Without waiting much longer she stalked off, instantly her blue gaze catching the form of Ripplestorm. What great luck. She thought silently before she headed over to the gray and black tom. "Hello Ripplestorm." She greeted simply before continuing. "I need to hunt for I haven't yet. Could you come with me?" The she-cat asked resolutely. He seemed free enough to do the task of his profession, or at least she thought.

Sunpetal purred at Flickerpool's joke--although the she-cat had said it with such a perfect deadpan--and nodded to Archckaw before padding away to find someone else to talk to. Even though she wasn't actually dying, she thought it would be a good idea to find an herbalist to talk to.
(How do you upload pictures to this? I could draw my OCs and other people's OCs lol they'd be so bad but how to upload first of all?)

He didn't seem to be doing much but he still could have refused to help her and ultimately everybody else out. "Great." She responded monotonously before she turned and began to head for the exit of the Hall. The ginger tabby she-cat didn't need to look to see if he was there, he said he'd follow, correct? |

'If we're out in the wilder areas it's nice to have a one-up on your enemies- especially if you're small and not especially strong, like me.' She reasoned. 'So if you're able to get onto the back of your opponent, or just avoid them altogether if you know you can't win, then that's the best way to go- up!!' She found herself a decent tree and leapt at it as she spoke the word 'up', claws latching and grasping purchase in the soft bark. She hauled herself up it and then sat triumphantly on a low branch, looking down at him. 'Now you try!' |
