Ravenstar lifted his head to the sky. His eyes searched for he stars before the clouds opened up just a bit. There, he was about to see a gap into StarClan. A sence of calm washed over him as he glanced back at the clan. "I say these words before StarClan, and in memory of Moonsong*, Frozenwhisker*, and Roaringwind*, that they may hear and approve my choice. Hawkfeather, will be the new deputy of FlashClan!"
Brooktail gasped, slightly surprised but at the same time, not really. She should have known. She lifted her voice to the air. "Hawkfeather! Hawkfeather! Hawkfeather!"
Fieldgrass nodded and went to raise his voice to call out Hawkfeather's name but broke out coughing.
Tinypaw was slightly disappointed that Blizzardwing wasn;t going to be the new deputy. But still, she called his name out anyway. "Hawkfeather! Hawkfeather! Hawkfeather!"

Beeflight yowls, "Hawkfeather! Hawkfeather! Hawkfeather!" He was glad it wasn't him. How could he do all that?
Silverpaw yowls the new deputy's name, wondering how it would turn out.
Blazetail has no reaction except hoping Hawkfeather won't make Amberwing perform warrior duties.
Amberwing looks up at the stars, hoping Hawkfeather will make a good future for her kits.

{ okay, so my idea is, shiningsoul spends time with crowpaw. crowpaw helps him be more sincere and kind of a cat, and they spend more time together. shiningsoul then has this one dawning moment like "i've liked toms all along" and then i'm not sure ? maybe he'll try to cover it up by being even more flirtatious to females than ever so crowpaw is confused ? i'm not sure, suggestions would be appreciated. psst since everyone is saying that their cat is open for romances i would also like to advertise for the 34567th time. if anyone has an idea please PM me.

Crowpaw nodded with approval at the announcement of the new deputy. Hawkfeather would be a good deputy- for all his flaws, he would grow into the role, which was all anyone could hope for. After all, no cat is born a perfect leader. Getting to his paws, Crowpaw made his way back towards the fresh-kill pile, brushing past the elders' den as he did so.
"Crowpaw," Frostflower greeted her son, sitting up. "I wanted to talk to you."
Crowpaw paused, giving his mother a rather aloof stare. "Later."
Frostflower blinked, appearing dissatisfied, but didn't argue. "Fine. But it's about your brother, so don't put it off forever."
Crowpaw nodded. "Very well. I'll be by later when I get the chance." He paused for a heartbeat longer, then with a slightly gentler tone added, "You should get out of the cold. It's not good for you at this age."
Frostflower stared at him for a moment, but then dipped her head. "You're right," she conceded, getting to her paws. "But please, do come by and see me sometime?" she added as she slipped into the dark interior of the den, an almost pleading note in her voice. Crowpaw nodded but said nothing else. After Frostflower had vanished, he turned and continued on to the fresh-kill pile.

Starlingflight got to her paws as the crowd began to disperse, stretching luxuriously and letting out a wide yawn. StarClan, I'm tired! she thought as she stood and padded towards the warriors' den. It had been a long day, and the lack of food also meant she didn't have as much energy to keep going late into the night. But it's not like there's much to do now anyways, she thought as she glanced at the moonless sky.

Nightfeather watched the announcement, expressionless and emotionless. He couldn't really care less who the new deputy was, as long as they mostly left him alone. He did everything he was supposed to right? The least everyone else could do was stay off his back about it. As the meeting ended and cats began to wander away, heading back to dens and such, Nightfeather retreated further into the bramble thicket where he had spent much of the day. Normally, he slept during the day and ventured out at night to hunt- the best way to avoid his Clanmates. And besides, he was one of the few cats with a faint enough glow that he could still hunt pretty effectively at night, granted there was moonlight. But tonight, there was not, and Ravenstar had dictated that none should be out on the full moon anyways. Not that Nightfeather really gave a mouse's hind end about Ravenstar's word, or even the warrior code for that matter, but it just wasn't worth the trouble of going against it. So instead, he resolved to wait out the night alone and bored, dozing where he could, until he could slip out closer to dawn before being snagged for a patrol.

( Sorry for not RPing much... I've been really sick lately, and it's sorta drained all of my motivation to RP... I know I've said this already, but from here on out I'll try to RP more. Since I sorta missed some stuff, I'm just gonna plop my characters back in...)
Oakwind couldn't help from feeling a pang of disappointment when the new deputy's name was called out into the air, but he only let the feeling reside for a few moments. He forced a smile open his face, joining in with the cheers for Hawkfeather.
Leafblae let out a yowl of joy, her eyes shining as she watched Hawkfeather accept his position. Though she had her preferences for a deputy in FlashClan, she was true fully happy for anyone to get the position. FlashClan needed a deputy, and now they had one.
Wait... Daryl seems to be a deleted member now... How is this going to work?

(huh. I wonder what happened. In any case, a quick and easy fix would be to just backtrack and announce a different cat as deputy. OR maybe to have Hawkfeather promptly phase out of existence as well but that just seems too meta tbh. Plus roleplay-wise it would break poor Ravenstar's heart to have TWO deputies just vanish in one moon.)

(Maybe we could make a plot out of it... Maybe someone takes over RPing Hawkfeather for a tiny bit, then we have some cat that betrays the clan and murders him. But in the end it's up to Wildfire...)

(yeah, or he just disappears after a little bit. Even if no one actively roleplays we can just fill in for him for a while. Ya know, "Yeah, Hawkfeather totally organized this patrol" "Hawkfeather told the apprentices they could eat" "Hawkfeather asked me to patch up this den" etc. Even though he's not actually there. And then "Hey wait where did Hawkfeather go" oops he vanished)

(Hm, maybe Nightfeather but tbh you don't want him as a mentor. And Starlingflight is too young to have gotten an apprentice yet when there are so many other capable, more experienced warriors in the Clan who don't have apprentices.)

(I'm up for rp. If it's the next morning any of my cats would be open so go ahead and start an interaction with any of them that you want. Crowpaw, Frostflower, and Starlingflight will likely be asleep in their respective dens, while Nightfeather is either dozing in the brambles at the edge of camp, or if it's light out, he'll have snuck out early so he can hunt on his own.)
