The light ginger she-cat smirked at his comment. He was already letting his Clan down as far as Crystal was concerned. She was going to tear him to shreds right here near camp and he would never be able to do anything for his Clan. "I believe you already have," she taunted with a dark smirk on her face. It seemed as if this battle was going to be won more with words than with claws.
That was her thought before the tom landed on her.
Crystal lashed her tail in rage and pain when she felt the tomcat's claws dig deep into her flesh followed by his fangs as well. With a growl she lowered a shoulder and followed the movement by rolling down onto the wet ground, hoping to get him under her so she could crush him with her weight.

Redstorm watched as a couple of hunting cats and a patrol returned. It seemed that all was in order and she decided she had some time to take a rest, maybe converse with her clanmates. Following the tempting smells of the freshly caught prey, courtesy of Flickershine, her old apprentice, Redstorm headed over and picked a piece near the top, a squirrel. She settled down to eat, enjoying the breezy day.

The Nebelung tipped her head slightly in question, mainly towards the new look in his eyes that came with his statement. Wait... Was he referring to her? Was she his distraction? She glanced away for a moment, not entirely sure of what to do with the new information. There wasn't confusion in Stoneheart's gaze, but something that was closer related to guilt. "I'm sorry for distracting you," she murmured.

so here are the long-awaited character descs~
Señor Cuddles | Male | Deputy of Ahadi's group
Señor Cuddles is a largely built, muscular and extremely fluffy white tom with rather fierce looking golden-amber eyes. He has multiple scars across his bodice but they're mostly hidden by the mass of fur. Señor Cuddles, as can probably be deducted by the name, was once a kittypet belonging to some particularly... enthusiastic twoleg kits. It may or may not have been a traumatic experience and he made his escape into feral life as soon as possible. He has always been a belligerent cat, not trusting easily and lashing out if provoked. He can also be quite grumpy, especially if any particularly unwise cat decides to make fun of him for his kittypet past. He is definitely not a kittypet, and anyone who questions that... probably shouldn't, to put it lightly. However, Señor Cuddles proudly refuses to change is name despite the jeers, with the reasoning that it's part of him and to change it would be giving up and surrendering to the mockery.
Spidey | Male | Trainee in Ahadi's group
Spidey is what could be considered a fiery bundle of silver fur and energy. He has a flecked silver tabby pelt, with long, skinny legs, small paws, and a narrow face featuring sparkling light brown-hazel eyes. Ever the curious young tom, Spidey is always eager to learn and be the best rogue he can be. He can be quite talkative, and if one is not used to him he can easily come off as pretty obnoxious, although he doesn't realize it. He's just... inquisitive, simply put, and that can sometimes get him in trouble when he unknowingly crosses the line over into "nosy" and "meddlesome".
Otterstream | Female | Will be queen but is currently a prisoner of the rogues
Otterstream is a slender light brown she-cat with a cream colored underbelly and paws. She has rather small, pretty dark amber eyes. She has medium length fur that is usually very sleek. She has a compact but lean build and her tail is graceful and long. She is a funny, bubbly she-cat that has retained her youthful spirit past her apprentice days. That isn't to say she's immature; however, her adventure-loving, goofy charm is what made Foxcloud fall head over paws in the first place. She was Foxcloud's second mate, but the first to have kits with him. When Otterstream had Dawnkit and Copperkit, they may have been the happiest, silliest parents in the clan. That all changed when the kits were a half moon old, though, when she and her kits mysteriously vanished in the forest. They haven't been found since.
Copperkit | Male | Will be kit (3 moons old) but is currently a prisoner of the rogues
Copperkit has medium ginger fur with scattered faint tabby markings, while his underbelly, muzzle and paws are a lighter cream color. His eyes are a bright gray-ish hazel. He has a sleek, lithe build like his mother, but more flexible and agile. Copperkit is a master strategist. Ever since he was a young kit he's been scheming and getting into trouble. He's quite mischievous, and that paired with cleverness and cunning is bound to be an adventure! He loves exploring, straying from his mother and sister, and coming up with plans and solutions to everything, no matter how preposterous.
Dawnkit | Female | Will be kit (3 moons old) but is currently a prisoner of the rogues
She is a reddish brown colored she-cat with slightly darker marbled tabby markings and a lighter underbelly. Her cream-colored ear is just like her father's. She has piercing golden eyes, a lithe, strong build made for running and jumping, and a long tail. Dawnkit is normally a very kind, sweet she-cat - who's quite aware of that fact. This awareness causes her to have a penchant for persuasion and manipulation. She can also be quite stubborn if she doesn't get her way, but she's not a useless cat. If you get her angry - which isn't a rare thing - she can be feisty, independent, and rude. But just don't get on her bad side and she's a sweetheart!

Honestly, what was this rogues problem?
What was it with rogues and all seeing on the edge of madness.
Kalepaw kept gaze on hers as she paced, and her eyes gave away that she was perfectly okay with the prospect of murder.
He decided he would ponder on his previous questions after this fight. That was, if he survived it.
Anger swirlded with the nerves nagging at his stomach caused by Crystals mocking words, and Kalepaw growled a last word before he leapt on her, "Enough."
Unfortunately for Kalepaw, he had not been trained much in defense and didn't know many attacks, so he was instantly toppled over into the wet mud.
Light cream fur became streaked with a glistening brown, and he hissed as pain struck through him under the crushing weight of the older she-cat.

Satisfaction ran deep in the she-cat when she felt herself roll over and effectively crush him with her weight. She may have faltered at first, but she was more than making up for it now. The rain wasn't effecting her ability to fight as it might to some. The cooling moisture was actually keeping her from overheating in the middle of the fight, though she was sure it was that way with the little apprentice. But no matter, he was being crushed by her anyway. There was no way he was going to win this fight - seemed like Crystal now had two victories under her belt. Ahadi would be so proud! Maybe he would finally promote her to deputy, or at least head fighter. If anything maybe he would pay more attention to her...maybe he would give his time to her and treat her as more than just a regular campmate. Perhaps he would finally see her true worth at last.
Crystal had to push away her doting thoughts over Ahadi to concentrate on the task at paw. She was beating this Clan cat to a pulp, that's what she was doing.
Kalepaw was only crushed for a few seconds before Crystal rolled off of him. But she gave him no time to fix himself in a defensive posture before she attacked once again. Instead of aiming to knock him off his paws or something of the sorts, Crystal aimed her unsheathed claws right at his muzzle. She would stun him, injure him upon a sensitive area such as his nose, and then when he was taken back, she would truly strike. There was no way this rogue was going to let some untrained Clan cat get even close to beating her.
