{ So I started online schooling with K12 and it sucks and its confusing and its slow and ugh. Its the first day and I'm already more frustrated with this then public school.} She gave a soft giggle as it looked like the tom lost himself in his thoughts for a few moments before snapping out of them. The ale ginger she-cat made her way out of camp and into the thick of the forest. Her off colored green eyes looking up at the tops of the trees watching as they swayed softly in the breeze. Her ears perked at the songs of the birds and the rustling of the breeze. Looking back toward the ground, her eyes watched as the sunlight dappled the ground cause shapes of light on the grass and fallen leafs. "Where shall we go first," she mewed stopping to turn to Galefoot. Pushing through the camp entrance after the she-cat, Galefoot took in the change of scenery. The birds were chirping, and squirrels dotted the trees here and there. There was a gentle breeze that he particularly enjoyed. It was wonderful to go out into the forest, whether it be for hunting or just because. The warrior's ears perked when a question was directed towards him, and he focused his haze to find Oatshine facing him now. Go first? He didn't really plan this far ahead... "Wherever you want." |

Stoneheart padded into camp, ears flicking with the change in the sounds around her. She'd originally left to hunt, but her mind kept her distracted from such a task. After her talk with Wiltedpetal, she was almost constantly distracted by thoughts of Falconclaw and how he felt and how she felt in return. It was an odd - and new - situation for her, and she wasn't quite sure what to make of it.
Still, she has to continue with her duties. Or try. She'd had no luck hunting, so she padded back into camp with nothing in her jaws and a sliver of shame in her eyes. For now, she retreated to the edge of camp to mull over her thought.

Falconclaw padded back through the entrance with Foxcloud, Fawndapple, and Cedarsky, his ears flat with annoyance. He realized he had been a little distracted on the patrol but Foxcloud could have been a bit more sympathetic. Shoving his annoyance down, he flopped beside the entrance in the dusty ground and began licking the grit from his pads. If he was honest his thoughts had revolved around Stoneheart and how she was feeling about him. Sometimes it seemed she returned his affection but others she just seemed a bit confused and mostly friendly. He sighed and ceased licking, gazing around camp. She sure was a hard one to figure out...t least he knew his own feelings!
He spotted her across camp and gave a little start one gets when the object of their deep thoughts suddenly appears before him. Of course she had been there the whole time but he only just now realized it. He eagerly pushed himself to his paws and padded towards her, a purr rumbling from his chest as he sat beside rather close as was becoming his habit. She smelled of the woods and rain and he guessed she had been out hunting. "Hey Stoneheart! Been hunting?" he asked, gazing at her with those large amber eyes of his.

She hadn't really expected anybody to approach her. But it happened anyways, and she didn't notice, which was a bit odd. So, when the tom of her thoughts seemingly appeared before her, she jumped slightly, though more internally than externally. Green optics turning to the other warrior, she flicked an ear at his question. "Hello Falconclaw," she paused, taking the question into consideration. "I suppose one could call it that. I wasn't very successful."

Falconclaw smiled as she returned his gaze, allowing that simple motion to warm his pelt and maybe, possibly, his heart? Pushing the deep questions aside for later, he focused on her. "Everyone has their off days," he replied with a shrug. "I got in trouble on patrol. Foxcloud nearly bit my ear off for my daydreaming. Needless to say my mind was...somewhere else," he mewed, his amber eyes intensifying with meaning as he watched her. He had most recently decided to tone down the subtleness of his advances and be more up front as he had figured out that that was what would get through to her.

Silently, the tom stared back at her. Kalepaw liked to think he was better than the other apprentices, for his age he sure was getting strong quickly, and he had always been fast. But for the most part, his vain mentality and thinking he was something special was just his own self telling him that.
His narrowing eyes follow her pacing movements, and finally he responded to her second statement.
"I won't let them down," he retorted, trying to sound calm and steady, while also biting back a gulp of hidden fear.
The tom was actually surprised when he landed the she-cat, but didn't take any time to continue his attack. He dug his claws as far as they would go into her flesh, and bit into whatever was there, which he didn't take note of in the flurry of the fight.
He was sure that it was pure adrenaline that was carrying him through this now.
