(sorry for disappearing on you, I went to the movies.) Raven followed him, being as quiet as possible, keeping to the shadows until she spotted the brown creature fluttering from place to place, pecking the ground for worms and other grubs. The black she-cat dropped into a crouch, blending in with the shadows and preparing to help King if he missed his catch.
Chester opened his jaws to protest, only to close them again in defeat. "Oh, alright, I'll try it, but only because you want me to so bad." The tom mewed sarcastically and padded over to her side and waiting for instructions.

Red Tom - 27 moons - The Group ___________________________________ Location - 'camp' Mood - grumpy Tagged - Heather
Noticing how.. chipper Heather seemed to be, despite his sour mood and grumpy attitude, he couldn't help be a bit surprised, and a little apprehensive. Shrugging it off, the tom nodded and slowly. "I will. You just woke up and I noticed the way the others took, so we can take away and avoid them for the best chances." He replied, perking up a bit when he glanced over at his sister. He felt more at ease knowing he was hunting for her, but he also had to remember he was hunting for this whole group of cats as well, something he wasn't happy for. Turning on his heels, he started to lead the way opposite of the other splinter groups, signaling for Heather to follow with just a flick of his tail.

{Hiya Daryl! And its fine Silver. ^^}
King paused when he saw the brown bird pecking at the ground as it scavenged about for food. He licked his lips, looking around as he noticed Raven had seemingly disappeared. He tilted his head slightly but otherwise focused back onto the bird. Crouching, the massive tom-cat almost looked a bit funny as he slinked along, pausing slightly to suddenly pounced on the bird. His claws hooked around it just as it had began to take off, and he snagged it by the wing. However, the bird was faster than him, and though it had been flung to the ground, had already began to get back up, ready to take off.
Lotus giggled softly, but, was otherwise happy that he had agreed. "Well thank you for being so considerate." She giggled. She soon crouched, "now, get into a crouch. It's sort of like a hunters crouch, however, put more emphasis on striking with your front legs rather than more emphasis on leaping with your back ones. It may feel a bit uncomfortable at first nd you might even stumble a bit, but don't give up....or fall in."

Raven watched silently, creeping closer, trying her best to keep pace with King. Seeing that the bird escaped the gray tabby's outstretched claws, Raven erupted from her hiding place and took a tremendous leap into the air, gripping the birds hindleg and bringing it back down with her, giving a final bite to its neck. Turning back to King, the black she-cat was panting and her her eyes gleamed. "What a workout." She muttered through the feathers, dropping the prey at King's paws.
Chester listened closely to her instructions, trying to mirror her position, though he did have to readjust himself a few times until he was comfortable. This was indeed weird, but he wanted to learn something new. "Okay, now what?"

About to hiss in annoyance at the escaped bird - and then probably about to complain about how cats like him shouldn't have to hunt, the dark grey colored tom-cat instead stared in almost awe as he saw the dark colored she-cat suddenly leap out with an impressive jump, catching the bird and delivering the finishing blow. For a moment, King just simply stared at her until he cleared his throat. "Er, right. You did...well." He stated with a nod. However, suddenly, the tom lt out a 'pft' of amusement at the fact that she now had a feather perched perfectly atop her head. "I see why you're called 'Raven' now. I didn't know you grow feathers instead of fur."
Lotus waited patiently, although, she was a bit amused at seeing how concentrated he looked. "Good. And now...you have to wait and listen. Try not to peer to close to the edge, otherwise your shadow will scare the fish off. Many cats use their eyes to try and judge but I..." She trailed off for a moment before shaking her head, "as you know, I'm almost as blind as an eyeless dog. I find it more efficient if you use your ears. You can tell when a fish is near the surface because of the sound of rippling water or splashing fins...and when you see even the faintest ripple of water, that's where you strike."

Raven purred and shook out her pelt, "Oh shush. I'd more think it was because my skilled jumping. Sometimes I feel like I'm flying." She boasted and used a paw to smooth the feathers off of her head. But it was true, Raven was already skilled bird hunter, but really she was skilled at hunting period. Her mother said that she'd got it from her father, but Raven would never know for she'd never met the tom that walked out on her mother.
Chester sucked in a breath, figuring it'd be best he used his eyes since he wasn't used to this as much as she was, yet anyways. Patiently, the big tabby waited, and soon he saw a silver flicker and darted his paw into the water, only to pull out a dripping unsheathed paw. Chester growled in frustration, tail lashing irritably.

For whoever wanna find Daryl) Daryl stretched under the nice sunbath that was hitting against his side of his fur. The tom's whiskers twitched side to side as well with his tail. Daryl's narrowed eyes gazed at the beautiful sky. His ears flicked when hearing the finches 'singing' in the air.

"I prefer to keep my paws on the ground, thanks." King replied, shaking his head. "A flying cat? Sounds like a kits tale - but, if anyone could do it, I suppose you could," King muttered, quickly looking over her as if to make sure she didn't suddenly sprout wings. He then sat down with a huff, beginning to delicately pluck the feathers off of the thrush. "Where do you think our perfect home for the clan will be?" He suddenly asked her.
Lotus watched the large tom suddenly flash a paw forward, only to wind up empty pawed. She supposed now wouldn't be the time to tease him about how 'easy' it was, so instead, she only smiled. "Fish are pretty slippery too, so you need to be quick to scoop them up." She moved closer to him now, to where she could feel his thicker fur brushed up against her own, "here, let me help." Her ears perked once more as she waited, "fishing also isn't like hunting. Sometimes...you just need to wait." She said softly, with a delicate paw she had lashed forward after hesitating a few moments after the water rippled, scooping up a small silver fish. She showed it to him before releasing the fish back into the water. "Try again - I know you can do it."

"I hope it's not far from here. I'd like to settle in somewhere for good so I can get a good and long sleep in and finally get to actually know everyone." She replied, just imagining a lush green territory with all the trees she could ever climb. "And I hope it's in a forest so I can still continue to hunt animals of the trees. You know I could never give that up."
The tom looked at Lotus for a minute, feeling a bit of awkwardness at her pressing against him, but pushed it away, confident now that she believed he could do it. Turning back to the water, Chester concentrated even harder this time. When he saw the silver flicker he waited till it was close enough before darting out his paw and pulling the fish out. It flipped about in his paws before he finally had it and killed it.

"I'm just tired of all this walking. I just want to be able to curl up somewhere nice and sunny and nap - maybe snack on a few mice." King let out a hefty sigh at the thought, purring slightly. "I'm sure it'll have trees for you to climb and act like a bird in, don't worry," he taunted slightly. "Who knows - maybe the territory'll be big enough so that we can all find our own, special places." The thought of owning a massive territory made him shiver, an almost ambitious look in his eye. Hm...Stone was a lucky cat indeed.
"You did it! I knew you could do it!" Lotus' felt warmth rise within her heart as the tom had victoriously pulled the fish ashore...even if it threatened to slip from out his claws a few times. After the final blow was delivered, she purred loudly and had even briefly leaned forward to touch her nose to his cheek in a moment of happiness for his accomplishment. "E-Er sorry!" She took a few steps back, "but I'm proud of you! See...getting your paws wet wasn't that bad," she giggled softly.

Raven just almost looked thoughtful for a moment. The molly was truly exhilarated at the moment and she felt like moving around. "Hey, you want to go for a walk?" She quiered, eyeing the thrush he was still eating. "That is whenever you plan to finish that bird of yours."
Chester froze when she touched her nose to his cheek. The tabby honestly didn't know what to think of Lotus's new attitude towards him. This was the second time she'd put him in an awkward place, though he was quiet proud of himself for achieving his goal ain't catching a fish. "Alright, alright, can we eat our catches now? "

King's ears flicked slightly at her words and he nodded. "Yeah, sure. Even if I'd love to just sun myself right here. I look quite handsome right now, don't I?" The tom puffed out his chest from where he sat, the sunlight illuminating his dark fur. He cleaned up the remains of his meal before looking back at Raven. "Lead the way - and try not to lead us off of a cliff or into a fox's jaws."
Lotus was a naturally affectionate/motherly cat - perhaps she felt pleased about Chester's successful catch. Not to mention...she really was just...odd. Either way, the female nodded. "Of course." She sat, bending her head down to begin to pick and eat at her fish in an almost delicate manner. She loved the taste of it - it tasted much different than the land-dwelling prey did. "Next we can focus on swimming lessons!" She excitedly exclaimed to Chester in a joking manner.

RQuasar- Heather - The tabby she-cat nodded I agreement to Red words about them having better chances if they went another way opposite of everyone else. Getting to her paws, she noticed a glimmer of emotion in Red's eyes as he looked back at his sister. Padding after him, Heather glanced around at her surroundings. Trees, bushes, grass and the tomcat beside her. She never imaged that she'd be in a group situation like this. She lived in the city where it was natural to either be alone or have a group for protection. She was the cat that never was in a group and always had to keep alert and looking over her shoulder for danger. But now she was in a group, and the safety she felt within it made her ten times less tense then she was living in the city. Puling her self from her thoughts, Heather lightly stepped over a twig that was in her way. She deeper into the forest, a prim hunting ground. Rolling her shoulder stretching them, she parted her jaws, scenting for any prey.

(Hey guys) Raven's pelt prickled at his question and she just shrugged, turning away and beginning to walk away. "Of course you look handsome, when is there a time when your not?" She mewed teasingly, looking back over her shoulder at him. "Now come on you fat bear, it'll be time to go before you get up."
Chester let out a playful growl, which was nothing like the tom to do, "Not in a million years will I ever swim! Like I told you before, my fur will get the best of me."

{Hiya!}
King let out a little 'hmph', puffing out chest once more. "See, I knew you would agree." The fact that she had only been teasing him had went right over the tom's head. He rolled his eyes soon after. "Hmph, whatever, bird...cat...thing." He huffed slightly as he got to his paws, padding on after the black furred she-cat.
Lotus couldn't help but let out a laugh at this...she paused, trying to visualize Chester swimming as she stared at him...before suddenly laughing once more. "You're right - you'd look like a panicked, half-drowned badger." She agreed in a gently teasing manner,

{I'll post first? :3}
Night's eyes were slowly adjusting to the sun's heavy rays. She had been resting in a makeshift den she made herself yesterday, after a longs day of traveling through the forest. Ever since the gossip in her old town about cats traveling together for new life out of the city, Night prepared herself to leave her city and find this group. But that proved to be harder than she thought, as hunting in the forest was very different than hunting rats in the city. However, she manged to get a full belly from a fat squirrel she caught last night. Yawning away from her clouded dream, Night carefully made her way out of the den. These group of cats must be moving as well, so she must get her move on.

snowy- Stone - Once everyone had left to hunt, the dark grey tom padded out of the camp and out deeper into the forest. His good eye stayed focused on the ground so that he wouldn't trip and his ear perked for any noise. He parted his jaw drinking in the musky but crisp smell of the forest, he focused on one scent in particular. Mouse. Stepping lightly as he could, the large tom followed the scent trail of the mouse through the bushes and around the trees. Coming across fresh mouse dung, he knew he had to be getting close to the prey.

Night quickly tasted the air for any fresh scent of prey nearby, hoping to get an early breakfast this morning. She caught the faint scent of a mouse, a few tail lengths away from her own nose. Using her street knowledge, she slowly made her way towards the small rodent, licking her lips in anticipation. Flicking her ears, Night could hear the mouse's movement through the forest.

Raven purred at his taunting, lashing her tail in mock anger. "The last time I checked, I was hundred percent cat, but thank you anyways." The she-cat then scampered on ahead and pranced around like a kit, pouncing on every leaf and twig, green eyes gleaming in her excitement. She even let out a happy squeal when she tumbled over in a pile of leaves under an oak tree. When she got back up, leaves decorated her pelt all over.
"Yes, I know I'm right." Chester grumbled and taking another bite of his fish. "I think we should head back soon, if we wait any longer it'll already be past sunhigh." He told Lotus as he looked up at the sky, gulping down the mouthful of fish he already had in his mouth.

"100% a weirdo," King muttered under his breath as he slowly padded along after the she-cat. He paused slightly, tilting a head as she ran and leaped around like a kit that had been fed too much honey. It was...amusing. Almost sort of adorable in a way. He sat down on his haunches, his tail flicking back and forth as he waited. He had almost began to purr had he not caught himself. When she got back up, he tried his hardest not to roll over onto his back in laughter at her pelt. "Maybe we should call you 'Leaf' rather than Raven?" He mused as he drew closer to her, a large paw carefully batting at a leaf that clung onto her ear.
"Oh, right, yes, we should get back." Lotus said, rising to her paws. "Do...you mind leading the way back? It's..." She trailed off, motioning to her face - or more specifically her eyes - with a paw. As much as she loved the forest...walking through it could be a task as she tried not to trip over something. She obviously could do it, but, why waste the energy if she cold just match some other cats steps? Especially if they had to travel soon, she needed all the energy and focus she could muster.

Raven scoffed and shook the rest of the leaves out of her pelt. "Do you ever loosen up? Or do you always sit and look pretty and be sarcastic?" She challenged, the playful gleam refusing to leave her eyes. The black she-cat then trotted past him and a little skip still in her step. "So you've always lived with twolegs?" She quiered, disliking how little conversation was between them. "I mean like, even since you were born or did they adopt you?"
Chester nodded, forgetting that Lotus couldn't see as well as he could. "Right." He meowed and began to pad away, following the scent trail they'd left that lead to they're makeshift camp. "So... we.. were you born like this? Not being able to see well. I- you don't have to tell me if you don't want to."

King flashed her a little smirk. "I try to, yes. Its the only thing that fits someone of my status," King said with a huff, whiskers twitching in amusement. Lazily, he lifted a paw as if to playfully bat at her, but, fell short, as if far too lazy to even do that. He blinked slightly at her sudden question. "Er..." He trailed off, seeming at lost for words. He suddenly seemed a bit uncomfortable. "Yes and no. I was born in a...less than desirable place. Eventually though, I was adopted by a twoleg in my kittenhood and lived a luxurious, royal life ever since." He told her, licking a paw and drawing it over his ear.
Lotus followed on after Chester, being careful not to walk into him. However, her ears perked up at his question and she let out a soft chuckle. "Yes. I was born with bad eyes. Although they were much clearer than they are today. I...guess by the time I'm a bit older I'll be nearly blind." She said with a little shrug, "that or living in a cave somewhere - the sunlight isn't exactly my best friends sometimes," she joked. "I'm just afraid I'll get lost one day and won't be able to find my way back home."

(Sorry for poof, I had housely duties) Raven flicked her ear, and slowed down to wear she walked just almost beside him. "Don't you house cats have parents? What if they wanted to keep you, wouldn't the twolegs think that taking away kits from cats could hurt their feelings?" It sounded mouse-brained to the long-furred black she-cat for in her world, molly's had no choice but to keep their kits unless they were cruel enough to abandon them. "I know I wouldn't bear to have my kits taken away from me." She commented, trying to imagine leaving precious kits to defend herself, but she couldn't. Who would do such a thing?
Chester looked back at Lotus, sympathy gleaming in his amber eyes. "Well at least you have a good nose and ears. I'm sure when we find our territory you'll never get lost because, as Rooty supposedly said, we'd all be taking care of one another." And he hoped that it were true. Chester didn't join this group to watch cats die or suffer. Despite how mean he'd seem, the massive tom would never neglect a cat in need.
