✧-- Im fine with being mod!)) While Redbreeze was walking, towards Hailsong he had caught a squirrel. He didnt know how lucky Hailsong was, but he was happy that he had caught something. Then, he smelt Hailsongs scent and started following it. After a few minutes of following the scent he saw Hailsong. "Hello!" he purred to him.

Shadepaw shook her head; thoughts weren't vital at the moment. She could 'daydream' another time. Her training came first. If she could find her mentor. She sat down at the apprentice den's entrance, and impatiently flicked her tail back and forth and glanced at the sky. Redbreeze must have finished doing whatever her was doing; it was almost sunhigh. Narrowing her eyes against the sun, she spotted Sharpthistle and Stumblestep in front of the bush. Perhaps they'll keep me company untill my mentor comes back. Shadepaw cautiously paced near them, meowing a greeting.

❈ -- Hailsong dipped his head. "Let's head back to camp... it's sun-high." I suppose you wanted to train your apprentice too. Unless if I'm somehow mistaken... Hailsong picked up both his mice and squirrel before padding after Redbreeze.
Swiftstar yawned, before jerking awake. What's wrong with me? I've overslept! She hurried out of her den, before padding into the open. Everyone's awake. She felt slightly embarrassed, but shook the feeling awake. I have more important things to do than feeling guilty. Like... patrols. Speaking of patrols, where's Redbreeze? Glancing at the fresh-kill pile, she looked around camp, wondering if any cat had gone out hunting yet. I hope Redbreeze did.

Maplefrost - Flintfang - Blossompaw - Sorrelpaw MAPLEFROST The gentle rise and fall of a lithe chest was interrupted by the small yawn that escaped from Maplefrost. The female was awakening from another night of surprisingly phlegmatic sleep. From inside her den, natural sunlight filtered through the gaping egress. Maplefrost stretched the length of her body slowly, claws gripping the ground while her spotted tail curled in motion with her spine. With a shake of her head and a twitch of her brown ears, she slowly weaved her way out of the door, narrowing her pupils into paper-thin slits as the bright morning sun hit them.
An air of authoritative grandeur was beginning to show with each dainty step she took. Even the very motion of her figure was deemed as regal. Spotting a certain tree over to the far right of the camp, Akiko slowly made her way over to the perennial, paying no heed to the cats around her. As she settled down below it, her frosty orange eyes were fixed over her clan, never wavering as she scrutinized and examined the felines silently from where she sat.
SORRELPAW A small brown tomcat lay in a pile of warm mosses, his mind slowly drifting into reality as he woke. At least he felt a lot better than yesterday. His aunt, Maplefrost, had comforted him, and he had to thank her for that. His eyelids slowly opened to reveal large orange-green circles, which peered around the den he shared with his peers. He could wait here until everyone else woke up, but Sorrelpaw was itching to get out and do something fun for a change. But his mind decided against it, and he instead chose to step outside and wait for his mentor.
Rising to his paws, the youngling gave a satisfying stretch before stepping out of the den's egress. "Oh. D-Did I sleep too late?" He asked no one in particular. Maybe he did. That didn't matter, though. What did matter was what he was going to do today. His heart thumped a little faster in excitement, a bright smile slowly slipping onto his face as he watched the Clan come to life.
FLINTFANG As the sky slowly gave in to daily life, a lithe tom with sleek, blue tabby fur could be seen strutting into the heart of the camp. Flintfang's expression was what one could denominate as stoic seriousness - he was usually never quote joyous or happy; simply stern and watchful over his peers. Although he felt drained at the moment, he was actually quite relived to get out of the warrior's den for once. Settling down on the grassy terra firma, Flintfang relaxed his shoulders, tail neatly curling around his paws. Of course, to anyone walking by, he looked as cold and calculating as ever, with eyes as desolate as an icy tundra.
BLOSSOMPAW "Hmph. I simply cannot go out looking like this..."
The voice was none other than prissy little Blossompaw. The Japanese Bobtail ran her tongue along her fur - for about the third time this morning. Yes, some might call her stuck-up, narcissistic, maybe snobby. But even with her sour personality, she just had to keep her lovely looks in top shape! And doing things like working, hunting, or battle training would ruin all her hard work. "Ah...it's so tough being beautiful," she mused to herself, batting her bright blue eyes. Dirt plus neat and tidy fur just wouldn't work.
The female let out a sigh, licking a paw and drawing it over her ear in a rhythmic, repeated fashion.

Padding out of her den, Swiftstar headed for the apprentice's den. I hope she's up. It's already sun-high. At least it wouldn't be as embarrassing if she had woken up late... like Swiftstar just had. Hearing the calico she-cat, she had sped up her pace. "Blossompaw?" She said in a slightly louder voice than a whisper. Hunting or battle training? The young she-cat did need to toughen up... but the clan also needed prey right now. I suppose there still are hunting patrols. "We're battle training today."

(Woah! So many new people! Just to let you know, I'm going down to my aunt's house for the rest of the week and my mom took my phone away, so I probably won't be very active and/or my post will be a bit shorter.)
Silverstreak looked up as the tom dashed away. "Like I was going anywhere," she sighed, trying to pull of a casual tone despite the throbbing pain in her ankle. After what felt like forever, her hazel gaze saw his shape darting back towards her and she forced a happy smile onto her face. "Finally," she hissed under her breath, but the silver warrior was perplexed by the plant the older tom was carrying in his jaws. Laying still while Thistlebreeze rubbed the herb on her paws, she started to pull her limb out of the tangle, her brow raised skeptically. To her surprise, the roots unwound with little resistance, and after a brief moment, she was able to stand on her paws. "Err... thanks," she said reluctantly a casual smile making it's way past her guard. Maybe he's not so bad after all... she admitted silently.

❈ -- (lol, yea cx It's okay)
Thistlebreeze waited for the she-cat, happy that it had worked. Thank StarClan! If it didn't, she must think I was a mouse-brian, carrying around a weird plant that she probably doesn't know. She had seemed much more relieved afterwards, making him feel slightly awkward. "Uh, it's not a big deal. Should we continue...?" Or... head back to camp? He looked over his shoulder, staring past the trees, hoping to be able to see at least a bit of the sandy colors of the cliff, but none was visible. So, we still have a while to go, I guess. That's great.

Blossompaw - tags;; Silverstar BLOSSOMPAW "Yeah?" The tryo's ears digressed the pattering of another cat approaching her, and she blinked as she noticed the voice of Silverstar. It was...quite a huge privilege to be the leader's mentor, which - admittedly - Blossompaw had bragged about a bit. But at least Silverstar was mildly 'interesting' to her.
At her pedagogue's summary of their activities for the day, an exasperated sigh exited her mouth as her head flopped to the side. "Ugh...why me?" She mumbled. Right when she'd just neatened her fur, too!
Ultimately, her maw parted, producing disappointed vocals. Inwardly rolling her blue eyes, she tried her hardest to look interested. "Alright, ma'am. I'm...not the best in the fighting department, but I'll try my best, I guess." Rising to her paws, the bobtail blinked at her teacher expectantly, wanting to hurry and get the training over with.

Silverstreak nodded in agreement. "We should continue," she replied abruptly. No one needs to know that you were the reason a patrol had to go back, she ranted in her thoughts, ashamed that she'd made such a clumsy mistake. Meeting the tom's eyes, the silver she-cat flexed her leg trying to reassure the tom that she was okay. "Come on," she started looking at the sun which now sat in the middle of the sky. "We've wasted enough time already"

❈ -- The apprentice had always... confused her. She seemed lazy in her opinion, yet still dedicated to her clan at the same time. Well, I suppose that has to be good in a way. "If you want, you can grab something from the fresh-kill pile. Everyone's eaten," she nodded to the single shrew and mouse that was there. Quite pitiful in her opinion. "You know, you should be glad you get to do all these things. Some cats can't. If they're blind or paralyzed... they can't do anything." Like my mother was. Swiftstar let out a sad sigh, letting her tail droop before lifting it back up. She had to be strong as the clan's leader.

❈ -- Thistlebreeze blinked. You sure? You'd probably need a bit of rest after that... dock can't be that great, can't it. Seeing that she had looked quite fine, he dipped his head. "Sure, let's keep going." I suppose it is late. Sun-high already. Thinking of the time of day had turned his mind towards prey, making him realize how hungry he was. We can't stop to hunt. I can eat back at camp, even though there's practically nothing there. My clanmates come first, he reminded himself.

Brindleflower She-cat - 32 moons - Medicine Cat Bluerunner Tom - 15 moons - Warrior ________________________________________________
Brindleflower Location - her den Mood - sleepy Tagged- none
Laid out on her side, Brindleflower remained in her den as the sun started to climb. She knew she had things to do, of course she did, however she felt like treating herself to a late start for once. Opening her mouth to let a small yawn escape, she shifted as a bit and rose to her delicate and still sleepy paws, stretching up and arching her back. 'Time to get the day going, I guess.' She thought to herself, giving herself a good shake to wake up. Padding through her den, she looked out and noticed that the rest of the camp was awake, her eyes narrowing against the bright sunlight. Tucking back into the warm den, she turned to her storage and got down to sorting, knowing she'd need a couple things at least. _________________________________________________ Bluerunner Location - the camp Mood - alert Tagged- none
True to nature, Bluerunner was up and ready to go before the sun had even risen. This, however, left him with about an hour before the rest of his clan woke up and started to move. Sitting in camp near the fresh-kill pile, he watched the clan wake up slowly and let out an excited purr when he noticed most of them were awake, his tail curling with excitement. Looking around, he debated on who to talk to, unsure who was in what mood today, and who'd be tolerant enough to deal with him as well.

Padding ahead, Silverstreak hoped she wasn't limping. Though she'd tried to play it off as a minor ache, every step she took was riddled with jabs of pain. "So why did you want to go to the Hanging Cliff?" she asked through gritted teeth. "It seems a tad dramatic." As true as her curiosity was, the silver warrior's true intention was to distract the tom so he wouldn't notice her pain. ________
Duskfeather lazily scanned the camp, waiting for someone to ask him to do something. You shouldn't have gotten up at the crack of dawn, he scolded himself as his eyelids dropped downwards. With a furious yawn and stretch, the tabby tom rose to his paws. Well, if no one is going to approach me, I might as well go hunting by myself. And without a second thought, the older tom stalked out of camp and into the territory.

Blossompaw - tags;; Silverstar BLOSSOMPAW She shrugged, knowing that there were cats...worse off then her. It's not like she was ungrateful; it could be worse out there.
With a toss of her head, Blossompaw stalked away to the...er....extremely small prey pile, grabbing a mouse in her jaws. Geez, they really need to stock up in here... As not to keep Silverstar waiting, she chomped down the tiny murine as quickly as she possibly could before returning to her leader. "I'm ready," she sighed, a barely-visible cloud of air flowing from her mouth as she spoke.

❈ -- Thistlebreeze was watching every step of the silver she-cat. "You know... we don't have to go to the Hanging Cliff if that's too far for you," he worried, ignoring her question. "Maybe you should just head back camp to Brindleflower. You obviously need treating." Or if you are certain on continuing, you should at least rest for awhile. Going to such as dangerous place can't be good with that leg.

"It's fine!" Silverstreak bristled. The last thing she wanted was to head back into camp having done nothing. With a sigh, she turned back towards the tom realizing that she wasn't being fair to him. "I'm sorry," she mumbled quietly. "I shouldn't have snapped at you."

❈ -- Swiftstar padded slowly after the calico, slightly concerned about the apprentice. I hope she's just having a bad day. Nothing paining her... At least she had acted excited. Eating the mouse in literally two heartbeats. She certainly was sounding disappointed. Hmm... we could just split that practice into two. One part training, the other hunting. Swiftstar shook her head. No, the apprentice was lacking behind in battle training. "Alright. Let's go." How about not a clearing this time? Just to spice things up? Besides, undergrowth was a huge part in battle. Not only could it hide the cat's appearance, but also their scent. And she needed to learn to be able to not crash into trees or bushes during combat either.

Stumblestep gave Shadepaw a small purr, giving the apprentice a little nod of greeting. She was about to perhaps invite the apprentice to do something fun - like maybe toss a moss ball back and forth { since that sounded a lot more productive than laying around camp all day } but, alas, duty did call. But miraculous measures - she was a mentor! And it was something she took quite a bit of joy in as well. Of course...some cats - such as Sharpthistle - thought that decision was a very poor one on Swiftstar's part. Who would give a 'broken cat' an able apprentice? What exactly could she teach him? Stumblestep would be lying if she said she didn't have any doubts in her mind. A few times already she had seen her apprentice already surpass her in a few of the moves she had taught him. Sorrelpaw was a fast learner...but, she supposed the thought also brought her quite a bit of joy. Getting back to her paws with a grunt, she limped on over to her apprentice in a slow, sort of funny manner that fit her usually goofy, playful look. "And so the sun finally rises!" She greeted him, but in a joking way. She had only gotten up herself a few minutes ago. "You feeling well, kiddo?" She purred as she reached him. "Maybe feel like stretching your legs in a bit of training or somethin'?" Mᴏᴏɴ - -
Sharpthistle released a breath when Stumblestep had finally hobbled on away from his presence. Cats like her utterly irritated him. Not to mention...how could a dumb, useless feline like her get an apprentice? The envious feeling coursed through his veins as his ears flattened for a moment. He was better than her! Smarter - much smarter - faster, and more skilled! He hadn't even noticed his claws digging into the ground before it was too late. Letting out a huff, the tom calmed his nerves as he gave his chest fur a few delicate licks. A large ear twitched in response to Shadepaw's greeting, a piercing gaze rising to meet her own in his own sort of 'greeting'.

Watching the cats start to go off with mentors and partners, the young warrior sighed and dropped his head. However, just as he looked up, he noticed Duskfeather stopping out of camp alone and sprang up to his paws, running after the other tom. "D-Duskfeather!" He panted softly, dropping to a slow walk next to the tom. "Good morning." He purred, his amber eyes bright with excitement. "Mind if I go hunting with you?"

Silverstreak narrowed her hazel eyes. "I can make it," she promised the tom, "But we can take a short break now if it'll make your fur lay flat." The silver she-cat said as she ungracefully slithered down onto the cool ground. She gave her companion a smile, though the pain in her paw had yet to ease. ______
Duskfeather turned around, surprised to find someone who wanted to tag along. "Not at all," the brown warrior replied with ease. "I was just heading out, is there any place you'd prefer to go?" He asked gently. Though he knew of quite a couple spot where he'd prefer to hunt, Duskfeather was just too tired to form an opinion he'd wanted to suggest.

❈ -- Thistlebreeze nodded, allowing himself to relax a bit. "Tell me if you feel better. And then we can continue." I guess. But what if she's just trying to act strong? Silverstreak isn't like that, is she? He doubted it. The younger warrior just then was struggling to move. He looked down at her, returning, Silverstreak's smile. I suppose she does have a heart. Maybe we can mate... hopefully. One day.

"Will do," Silverstreak replied unable to wipe the stupid grin off her face. Shuffling her paws around, the silver she-cat dropped her eyes to the floor. "So," she started, her voice unusually shrill. "It seems like this leaf-bare could be a bad one." Though the warrior was just guessing, it felt good to change the subject off her previous failure and her incapability that was causing the delay.

SORRELPAW
A genial beam made its way into Sorrelpaw's childlike features as he caught eye of his teacher, Stumblestep, limping his way. He dipped his head low in a practiced greeting. "All is well today, ma'am; thank you," came his formal, yet cheery tonality. "Good day, ma'am; I hope you are well, too!" Sorrelpaw was always happy to see Stumblestep; she was such a benevolent and kindhearted individual, who didn't let anything or anyone drag her down. Sorrel looked up to her as both a mentor and a good friend - ah, she was such an inspiration! At her inquiry, he immediately responded with, "Oh. y-yes. I think I'd like to practice my battling prowess; I do more practice in the art."
BLOSSOMPAW
The Japanese bobtail treaded along, her eyes absently gazing around at her surroundings. The walk to the training grounds was boring enough. She was feeling rather...nonchalant today, why, she didn't know. Maybe a little erratic, even. She'd eaten rather quickly this morning, when she usually ate at a daillied pace.
Shaking her head, Blossompaw turned to ask Silverstar a casual question, trying to get her mind off things. "Silverstar? Where are we going today?"

❈ -- (ugh, my post just got deleted)
Swiftstar looked as if she was pondering hard for a moment. "I was thinking of something different today... make our training more realistic." She paused for a while, letting the information sink in even though she doubted the apprentice would have known what she meant. "What I mean by that," she continued, "is that we're not going to be training in our regular training grounds. Somewhere more like... where a battle would take place."
(np cx )
Hailsong padded after the ginger tom, allowing him to lead the way. It's now past sun-high. We'd better hurry. The clan probably needs this prey. Besides, patrols are probably out... wait. Redbreeze's the deputy. And he's with me. Never mind then. But perhaps Swiftstar was organizing patrols while we were gone. What if she's worried about us? Or needs him for something? The white tom quickened his pace, determined to get to camp quickly.
