Reedstrike swished her tail, irritated, as she sat beside her leader as he chowed out on his fish. "All these kits are getting on my nerves" she muttered. "All they do is get under my paws. Soon enough I'm going to squash one!" The she-cat set her amber eyes on a juicy vole and took it for herself. "Soon the whole nursery is going to be filled and we'll have more kits than warriors" she said in between bites.

Seedlight smiled at her newborn kits she heard Sheepfur say she had two she-cats and one tom.they looked so small and fragile,the trouble was what to name such amazing kits "This one can be Cloverkit" she said looking at the small tom "And here are your sisters Palekit and Sammonkit" she mewed moving close to her three kits.

Fallenpaw stared in awe as he saw the wiggling kits. This was his first time helping a kitting queen. He put down some damp moss near Seedlight so she could lap up water if needed. "If you want, I could get you some prey."

Seedlight looked up from her kits "No its okay i already ate,when do you think they will open their eye or start talking?" she asked Fallenpaw. she was already proud of her kits none of them of them being stillborn was very lucky,they looked so peaceful and healthy.
(yes sorry about that,I added them all riverkit can meet the other kits now)

Oatpelt laughed "Don't be so negative,you may as well embrace it, it's not like they are going to stay kits forever one might even become your apprentice" he did like the fact that having more kits meant that they would have the opportunity to become mentors almost enough kits for every warrior to have a apprentice.

Seedlight winced "They are too small to play they can't talk yet but they can listen if you want to talk" she nuzzled her kits they were awake but their eyes were still shut.
Palekit twitched grunting quietly then going back to resting with her siblings.

Oatpelt moved away from here "ouch i wouldn't want to be the poor sap that has to be mentored by you" he said sticking his tongue out "They will ask Beetlestar to be my apprentice the kits will line up at my nest desperate for my training!" he said poking his tongue out again teasingly.

(I'm back!)
Snowdance shrugged. Food was food, no matter what kind it was. She wondered if there would be anything brave enough to come out after the storm. She scented the air again and caught the fainted hint of prey. Crouching low so her white pelt wouldn't be seen, she crawled forward silently. She paused, bunched up and pounced. She came up with a fat water vole. Although her mouth was full, her eyes shone with delight.

Snowdance caught another water vole and to her pleasure, a mouse. But she knew she couldn't eat until the clan was fed so she tried not to think about it. "Let's go bad! I want to check on Seedlight again, I want to see her kits!" She said muffled through her prey, bouncing up and down.

Beetlestar took a quick second to admire her catch then jumped in the water with a large splash,he grabbed a trout by the tail and threw it out of the water,he had heard that Seedlight had given brith to her kits poor Oatpelt ran all the way over here and back to tell Beetlestar,his brother tried to hard sometimes.
Seedlight whispered thank you to Fallenpaw and started to go back to a gentle slumber,she was tired he kits were already asleep and together she was awoken by Stonestrikes sudden entrance "They are all alive and well now let me sleep please" she said.
