~ THE PROPHECY ~
"When the stars fall from the sky, two will meet in battle, and the brightest star shall be shrouded no more." - StarClan cat
~ PLOT ~
For many seasons, VeilClan has remained in relative peace. Avoiding conflict and keeping to the shadows whenever possible (but still marking their borders daily and *challenging any cat that wanders too deep into their territory), they have earned the reputation as the "strongest, smartest, and most hidden Clan (virtually) no cat has never seen..." However, when leaf-bare hits and signs of prey-stealing are found on VeilClan territory - half-eaten prey, piles of bones, and scent trails belonging to unknown cats - VeilClan's leader, Birchstar, along with many within VeilClan, accuse the local band of rogues of prey-theft.
Caught up in this controversy are 4 VeilClan apprentices, who are determined to prove the rogues' innocence and discover the true assailants. But as tensions rise, and the threat of war is inevitable, the apprentices are in a rush against time to discover the truth. But an encounter with a strange Clan, rumors of treachery within VeilClan, and an ominous prophecy leads the 'paws wondering who they can really trust...
~ TERRITORY ~
VeilClan lives in a sparse birch forest which becomes shrouded in a thick mist every [sunrise and sunset]. Ferns, dead leaves, loose ground, and saplings cover the forest floor - memories of a once great fire that had struck the area many moons ago, leaving many trees blackened with death from the flames, even now. Small streams border the VeilClan camp,*and their territory is a large one, almost half the size of the original four Clans' territories combined. To the easten edge lies a large Twolegplace; to the aouth a sun-drown place; to the west, an endless row of snow-capped mountains: and to the north, a mysterious oak and aspen forest, home to the powerful and equally seclusive ThistleClan. VeilClan specializes in hunting birds and mice, while ThistleClan prefers squirrels, voles, mice, and even snakes.

1. Please follow the standard WCRP (Forum) rules. This includes no griefing, Godmodding, non-PG13 content, etc.
2. Try to keep your comments "alive and detailed." No one-liners.
3. No cats are perfect! Make your character have at least 2 flaws, even if they are small ones. This helps build interesting characters and storylines.
4. If you are a member of VeilClan or ThistleClan, your belief is StarClan. If you are a rogue, loner, or kittypet, you can choose to make them believe whatever they like, but not a lot of "free range cats" have warrior ancestors, or an faith system at all.
*5. Try to be at least fairly active. But at the same time, don't spam RP comments. Let everyone have a turn!
6. If you are a posting a comment outside of the actual RP, please use (), [], or {}.
7. Join the RP and submit your characters in the VeilClan Forum. (Upcoming.)
