Leafpaw nodded, "should I go this way and you go that" he asked gesturing with his tail to show which side was which. Her idea of splitting up was because they should be able to catch double the prey that they would otherwise whilst staying close if something went wrong. He caught the scent of a mouse in the direction he had chosen and itched to chase it

Squirrelblaze stretched out leisurely on the branch he lay upon, his huge fluffy tail slowly curling and uncurling over his body. He yawned lazily and squinted his eyes open to see if the patrol had returned yet. Not seeing them, he returned to relaxing, bashing in the patch of sunlight he'd discovered. It was gently tanning his fur, the brilliant chocolate colour tinged with handsome russet brown.

"I think that's good for now, I can't exactly carry any more herbs." She stated, her voice slightly muffled by what was in her mouth. ( I hope you're okay Littlesong!) Swiftsky heard her apprentice say something, but didn't exactly hear it and decided to ignore it. She flicked her tail, beckoning for Sunpaw to follow her back to camp. The taste of herbs wasn't very pleasant in her mouth, and she could never ignore it no matter how long she had been a medicine cat.

Seeing Dappledlight go one way Leafpaw headed in the opposite direction. He opened his mouth sohe could scent more effectively before catching the scent of mouse. He dropped into hunting croach as he stalked the mouse but when he was a couple folengths awayy he stepped on a twig, "mouse-brain" he cursed before looking fot any more scent trails. He was going to catch loads of prey.
