Crowstar nodded at the two before speaking. "You two have been chosen as the best candidates for the position. Robinfeather, you were chosen for your honesty and courage. Heatherstripe, you were chosen for your loyalty and compassion. You have mentored at least one apprentice, and are ready for your duties. However, only one of you can sit by my side. But that, we will leave up to fate." He brought out the piece used to decide the next deputy. One side was scarred, the other not. "Choose the side to represent you."

"I choose this one because it shows that not every problem is with a fight, but there is other solutions than fighting.", said the she-cat feeling anxiety inside her.

Crowstar nodded. "Then let fate decide," he replied, pushing the piece down the steps. He watched as it clattered to the bottom, only one side up. He announced the results. "Fate has spoken," he said, raising his head and peering down at the two before him. "Robinfeather, do you promise to uphold all that you must, and to follow in my pawsteps?"
(Note: I literally had my dad flip a coin for this. It landed on tails, which meant the scarred side.)

Heatherstripe back down and went out of the crowd and into the forest. "Stupidness for me didn't it?", an told her self. Heatherstripe unsheathed her claws and instead went out to hunt not wanting any cat to bother her right now.

Crowstar nodded. "Then I announce Robinfeather of Scorchclan as my deputy!" He had noticed Heatherstripe leaving, and knew why. However, she was a good warrior. She was still young, and there was always the possibility that she could become the next deputy after either he or Robinfeather passed.

(This is just for drama. She isnt jealous. And to make it clear Heatherstripe isn't jealous. It is just bad luck runs in her fmaily, so she would probably go insane, but will not kill anybody.)

Bramblestorm watched Heatherstripe back away and run off. His mind whirled, "wait Heatherstripe!" He yowled out the she-cats name.
Misty prowled in the undergrowth, the scent of tangy blood hit her nose and the rouge snarled. Peering through the bushes, the blueish shecat saw Heatherstripe, crouching over a mouse. |
