Bandit was bringing some prey back to her home. The calico walked down one side of the street, keeping a look out for any cats that might threaten her.

Daryl walked in the abandoned park that he recongnized and often got bored of the surroundings. The tom's narrowed eyes glanced at some areas that he saw long ago, especially the lake that got his sick. Daryl still remembered Bandit, the beautiful she-cat, who nursed him back to health, but after that he haven't seen her since then. Following a cat's scent he caught in the air, Daryl found a den that he recongnized and his eyes widened. Bandit!, thought the tom to himself and he walked into the den and said,"Hey Bandit, long time no see."

The scent of the cat hit Bandit before she heard him. Turning, ready for an attack, she found herself looking at Daryl, the tom whose company she had come to enjoy while she had helped him heal. Dropping her catch so she didn't have to talk through it, she spoke. "Daryl!" She exclaimed, her eyes bright. "Who would have known that I would see you around here."

"I know, I thought I wouldn't see you again. Thanks again for nursing me back to health Bandit, that means a lot to me.", told the tom to her with a smile. Daryl walked towards her noticing his catch and he commented,"You caught prey? Nice." Daryl's ears flicked at her and his tail rested on her shoulder.

"It was nothing, really," Bandit insisted. "It was nice to have some company after being alone for a while." She glanced down at the prey at his comment. "I was going to eat this when I got back to my place, but do you want to share? I doubt I could finish this alone," she smiled at Daryl.

"Sure and I agree it is nice to have company once win a while.", agreed the tom with Bandit as he laid by the piece of prey she caught waiting for her to take the first bite since it was her prey she caught.

Bandit nodded, laying down and taking a small bite of the prey. She found it delicious, as always, and was glad to have company again. Especially since it was Daryl, someone she knew.

Daryl said," Not drinking any contaminated water, that I can guarantee you Bandit." The tom was glad he healed and Bandit was there when he needed her. The tom took another swift bite of prey enjoying the taste.
