You are a young serval, wandering through a more lush area of the Savanna. You stop as you cross a line of scent before you cautiously continue on, only to be pounced on by a larger serval. "Who are you and what are you doing on ServalClan territory?!" The large she cat spits, her hackles raised as she takes a step back to let you up. She has quite a bulky build, toned from training. Before long, you notice the rather annoyed look on her face and you stutter out an explanation, lest she decides to box your ears. Satisfied, she turns away. "You'd better come with me, if you plan on joining." She hisses, glancing over her shoulder at you.

So, you've decided to join Servalclan, the clan of cunning and leaping cats. Welcome to your new family.

Rules
-Be active: We run on a three strike warning system. I understand that you have a life outside the forums, I do too. But please warn me before you just disappear for extended periods of time.
-Forum rules are my rules
-Please, for the love of cheese, be descriptive with forms and replies! No one-liners, please. If you have issues being descriptive, look up synonyms for the word that you want to use. Flesh out your character and actions, but don't overdo it.
-Literacy: I get it, we all make mistakes every now and then with spelling, grammar, and punctuation. But if you continuously make mistakes and it's in character, people won't really want to roleplay with you. Really, the only thing that will happen is an overwhelming urge to correct you.
-No perfect characters or characters with odd colors. Different markings to set apart characters is fine, white, dark brown, and black cats are allowed but are not common. Your cat can't take on an elephant or a giraffe by itself and not everyone will like your character.
-Mates: Cats can secretly have a mate from another clan but think logically about size differences, no lion/caracal, leopard/serval, lion/serval, or leopard/caracal hybrids.
-Most important rule here, you ready? HAVE FUN!

Traditions
All queens that are close to giving birth, must leave their clan and have their kits before returning one moon later with their kits. They may remain on their territory or go to another clans territory, but they are not to be disturbed or attacked, even if they come from a rival clan.
All conflicts are to be put on hold during migration season.
Warrior code
Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.
Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.
Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.
A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.
A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies, retires or is exiled.
After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.
A Gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.
Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats, especially if they are not of the same species of cat.
No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan. The kit must be returned to its clan either after being treated or for treatment.
The word of the Clan Leader is the warrior code.
An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win their battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or if it is necessary for self-defense.
A warrior rejects all contact with two-legs.
Each Clan has the right to be proud and independent, but in times of trouble they must forget their boundaries and fight side by side to protect the four. Each Clan must help the others so that no Clan will fall.
No clan may deny another clan access to water in times of drought.
A nesting queen is to be left alone, even outside of her own territory.

Characters
Leader-
Thornstar- He has a muscular build with a few scars on his body. He has golden fur with spots and a white underbelly. His eyes are pale yellow eyes. Thornstar is stubborn and fierce ruler. He cares deeply for his clan and dislikes other creatures. Thornstar doesn't tolerate weakness or insubordination. He has a soft spot, but the best time to show it. Thornstar has a tendency to work to hard and have a temper. He is very much a fighter and tries to come up with different strategies and moves. (Hawkeyes258)
Deputy-
Servalstrike: Servalstrike is a densely built she cat with golden eyes and a typical serval pelt. She is missing part of her tail due to an accident she had as an apprentice, though she hasn't let it hold her back. She is immensely loyal but she does tend to be quick to unsheathe her claws. As a senior warrior, Servalstrike is not one to mess around and it's very rare to catch her goofing off, though she won't say no to playing with new kits. She is more of a hunter than a fighter, but she won't hesitate to box another cat's ears if they deserve it. RPed by: Rising Tragedy
