ѕρσσкуѕку ; my bab is very amusing. ] Frozenthorn was grooming his soft fur with delicate care, not really bothering to pay much attention to his surroundings. Other cats weren't exactly worth talking to anyway, most of them were nothing but fool-hardy furballs. He knew that much thanks to past experience. Was it fair to say they weren't worthy of time? Perhaps, but he was never the type to get friendly with others, and had no plans to. Once the voice of Skystreak hit his ears, the tom had a scowl on his face as he turned his head to look at her. A request to go out with her? Why should he have to? There were other cats that could check a measly border. The warrior was hardly lazy, and was in fact quite hardworking when the time needed it, but still. Surely he wasn't the first option. "Why couldn't you ask anyone else? You think I'm really up for that right now?" He responded coldly, deciding to bring his gaze away from the streaked she-cat's pelt and back to his own pelt instead. { I'M SO SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG I'M SO BAD AT REMEMBERING THINGS SOMETIMES TBH } Skystreak wasn't surprised at the response he gave her, although by instinct her ears flattened slightly and her usually flicking tail stilled. She watched him meet her gaze and then look back at his pelt, and wondered how she could get through to him. "I could've asked anyone else," she replied levelly, "but I wanted to ask you." She blinked at him thoughtfully. It was definitely going to be an interesting interaction, no matter how things played out, but she had decided it was worth it. Since she had become a member of BriarClan, she had barely spoken to the ill-tempered tom and that was something she wanted to change. After a moment's pause, she added, "And I didn't know whether you were up for it or not. That's why I asked you." She sat slowly, her soft tail coming to rest neatly around her snowy paws as she waited for his response. |

Ðᴏʟᴄᴇ ; i feel like a loser because i didn't respond so here you go buddy. ] Umberfrost felt a snicker escape him at her reaction. The mere look of shock was all he needed to keep going on with his teasing nature. Sure her rather upfront and blunt side could be a bit annoying depending on the situation, but right now that was hardly a worry for him. He knew after all that he wasn't a saint either when it came to words. Still though, a part of the brown-gray tabby did feel a bit bad because she really seemed to ponder his words. Even if that in itself made the feigned fright all the more worth it.
When the rather uniquely designed she-cat accepted to lead, he gave her the usual, chipper expression. Her turning away so soon though only made him sigh lightly. To him it was quite obvious he was messing around. To others watching they knew he was messing around. But when it came to Cinderbird, she took everything he said very seriously. His joking, or teasing, didn't work on her. And while he knew that she would respond seriously in kind, it didn't make conversing with the she-cat any less amusing to say the least. "No, I offered you the place after all!" He responded with in a lively tone. The tabby's tail flicked lightly as he stared after her for a moment before turning his head to look to camp entrance rather expectantly. What kind of patrol was she thinking..? Pondered Umberfrost silently. He could really care less which she though of. But as she never specified if they were to patrol the borders or go hunting, he was only left to think about it. After all, he didn't really feel like asking her, not yet anyway. WHAT IS SUBTLETY ???
