 Introduction
The night air seeps under your fur, causing your skin to prickle. It didn't help that the walls of briar surrounding you poked you at every small, cautious step forward. "Ow..." you hissed under your breath, as a particularly sharp thorn landed itself in your dry pads. Feeling a strong sense of unwelcome, you limp forward as fast as you possibly are able, until a sudden scent hits you, and the rain starts.
Grumbling unhappily, you make your way under the roots of a tree and find dry solace in it. The silent pitter-patter of the rain is a bit relieving as you carefully dislodge the thorn in your paw with your teeth. Quickly, you rasp your tongue over the wound whilst remaining blissfully unaware of the silent shadow hidden within the briars, watching you.
"You're in Briarclan territory, state your business here," a voice spoke softly yet the words rang menacingly in your ears.
With a jolt you scrambled to your paws, hitting your head in the process, before creeping from your makeshit den. The rain was still pounding heavily on, but the cat in front of you didn't seem bothered by it. In fact, it looked as though the rain wasn't even touching the cat, but that could just be your tired hallucinations.
"My name is Scarletstar, and if you have no business here then you had best move along..."

Territory
Briarclan is border to Aetherclan below the mountains, near the ocean but not close neighbors with it. Briarclan is familiar with the salty scent the ocean breeze brings, but they don't travel there often.
{ The Gurgling Pond } The Gurgling Pond is on the far side of Briarclan's territory, and it's a small pond that bubbles on occasion. It's a very clean pond, and a great place to find prey.
{ The River } The river leads from the ocean all the way to the pond, cutting right through Briarclan's territory.
{ The Large Oak } The large oak towers over the middle of Briarclan's territory, not far from the river. Mentors will often bring their apprentices to this tree to practice their climbing and agility skills.
{ The Meadow } The meadow is a nice place for mentors to take their apprentices to practice battle training away from their natural habitat in the briars. The meadow is close to camp.
{ The Briar Patch } The briar patch is near the edge of Briarclan's territory, and it is a tangle of briars that covers the entire floor. It's near impossible to navigate through, even for a Briarclan member. Apprentices have a challenge to prove themselves by making it all the way through the briar patch, though the warriors do not reccomend this activity.

Briarclan's camp is tucked away behind a large, oval shaped wall of briars. This is the thickest wall of briars in the territory, and predators would have a hard time breaking through.
{ Leaders Den } The leaders den is beneath a large, tall stump, where the roots are exposed but have been locked down and covered with briars and ferns, blocking out the wind an rain for the leader to sleep. This is also where the leader makes their announcements.
{ Medicine Cats Den } The medicine cats den is located in a small cave in the far corner of camp, close to the leaders den and far from the entrance.
{ Warriors Den } The warriors den is beneath a large bundle of bushes, giving them cover from the winds but also allowing them to watch the camp entrance.
{ Apprentices Den } The apprentices den is hidden under a "dome" of briars so to speak, in the middle back wall of camp.
{ Nursery } The Nursery is the most protected den in the clan, hidden in the farthest wall of the camp in a small cave covered in briars.
{ Elders Den } The elders den is the second most protected den in camp, in another small cave.

Her chest, muzzle, belly and tail tip are white as well and she has soft, minty green eyes. As a medicine cat, she's very doting, friendly and sometimes stern when needed. But other than that, this she-cat is usually reserved and calm, keeping to herself most of the time.

Another sister, Spottedsky, had been separated from the group just days before and they believed her to be dead, though unbeknownst to them she currently resides in AetherClan.

She always seems to be calm and collected, though this is mainly because she's very good at hiding her anxieties so that nobody wastes their time worrying about her. She was found as a rogue with two of her sisters, Skystreak and Cherryflight. He is a kind-hearted and gentle tom, and loves to tell stories of his adventures to the kits. He is somewhat shy, but warms up quickly. He is strong-spirited and optimistic, and cares deeply about everyone he meets. This can of course be a hindrance in battle, but he is trying to overcome it. His brother is Darktiger.

Darktiger is a dark charcoal bengal tom with cream dapples on his chest, belly, and legs, a cream tail-tip and muzzle, silver-tipped ears, and cream and silver dapples around his eyes which are a bright yellowish-orange. His fur is sleek and he's slightly bigger than the average warrior. He is ambitious, serious, and has very few morals, willing to break any rules necessary to get what he wants. While his father loved him deeply, he disapproved of Darktiger's heartless and cunning attitude. Because of this, Darktiger grew to resent his father and planned to kill him until his father happened to get killed in battle, ruining the younger warrior's plans. He desperately wants to be a leader and is willing to kill to get there. His brother is Wingflame.

This tom is very playful and childish, even a bit flirty, but he possesses a keen, cool, and calculated side underneath it all.

His patience is quite admirable, however he's known to dislike things he doesn't understand and those who are over-confident when he believes they have no reason to be.

The only cats free of this are any cat he thinks deserves respect, and if they do, then he's quite the polite, gentle, and well-mannered cat.

Her almond-shaped eyes are a muted blue, framed by long ivory whiskers. A hard-working warrior that selflessly devotes all her time to supporting her clan, Cinderbird's serious and composed attitude is not just a front; she often has a hard time reading the mood in social situations and tends to fail to pick up on social cues, particularly when sarcasm or teasing is at play.

A naturally sociable and observant warrior that always seems to know the right things to say, Timberflame is a perfectionist that can hold conversation with a pleasant smile - despite this he tends to keep others at a distance, possibly for fear of disappointing their expectations.

She is fiercely loyal to her clan and, perhaps sometimes at the expense of trying to form close relationships with anybody, strives to become as skilled a warrior as possible. However, whilst she is known for possessing an often explosive temper, Dustleaf can be, sometimes unexpectedly, both very empathic and emotional; she is definitely not as level-headed as she thinks she is, or as cold as others may think.

He struggles with fighting, but is an exceptionally apt hunter.

Goldeneye is a jet black tom with golden yellow eyes, they also have amber flecks in them making them look more golden. He has sleek shiny short fur and his right ear tip is cut off. He has strong lean muscles which allow him to have powerful blows, despite he strength he is quite the gentleman. He is also very sweet and kindhearted, hes very outgoing and friendly.

Appleblossom is as red as her name, except there is a black hue to her fur. The tips of her pelt is coated in black, giving her a dark rusty look, she has long silky like fur and an elegant sleek body. She has a well feathered tail along with lynx like ear tips, she has unusally large paws and a large lion's like maine. Her eyes are a deep cyrstal blue and she has long black whiskers.

Violetleaf has a almosted shaded coat, Violetleaf is a dusty greyish black tom; the tips of his fur are coated in black making is pale grey fur darker than it actually is. He has medium sleek fur and also has a well feathered tail, Violetleaf has lynx like ear tips and a smaller lion's like maine. He is still very large, with well muscled limbs; Violetleaf has dark deep green eyes with golden yellow flecks, making them shine like golden dappled leaves. He is still very intimidating, but deep down is compassionate and patient.

Zinniafeather is as white as snow, except there's a pale ginger hue to it; she has bright reddish ginger tabby marking on her face, paws, and tail. Zinniafeather hold a strong But elegant body with lean muscles, she has short, soft, sleek fur with a long tail and legs, she has long pointy ears and pale blue eyes.

Birchpool is a silver tabby she-cat with dark silvery-grey stripes along the top of her head, down her back and across her tail. Her eyes are a gentle, celery green with darker flecks close to the pupil. As for her build, Birchpool is rather petite and graceful, with long legs and a tail to match. The warrior is pretty light on her paws, and enjoys climbing in trees to hunt over racing on the forest floor.
Personality-wise, Birchpool is a bit on the reserved side, and prefers to think things over before jumping into action. This isn't to say that she's boring or a 'stick in the mud', as she quite enjoys a good laugh, and can act a bit mischievous in the right situations. Overall, she's a pretty decent cat to hang with.

Sprucefur is a large, widely-built and muscular tom with dark brown fur. His pelt is criss-crossed by darker, nearly black stripes. His underbelly and chest are white, along with the tip of his tail. His eyes are a dark blue. Now, Sprucefur is a pretty scary looking tom. But he isn't! He's a complete pushover, honestly. While he can be a but biased and has a little bit of a reputation for being a sore loser, he cares about his clanmates and upholds the warrior code with his life.

Whitefur is a large solid white tom with dark blue eyes. His pelt is thick and slightly fluffy, though not long enough to where it drags the ground. The defining feature on this tom's pelt is his pale, golden tabby tail. He also has very faint tabby markings above his eyes. White tufts of hair protrude from his pointed ears, and he is polydactyl on his right forepaw. Whitefur is a courageous and fiercely loyal tom. He is a family cat, and would do anything to protect his family and of course his clan. Lightcloud is his sister.

Lightcloud is a slightly large she-cat with a thick and fluffy snow white pelt. All four of her paws, the backs of her ears, the bridge of her nose, and her tail are a smokey gray color. Her eyes are a deep amber color, and her face is slightly pressed in. Lightcloud is a kind she-cat, and her friendly appearance gives way to that. She is easy to love and get along with, and always strives to do the best for her clan. Whitefur is her brother.

Mousebelly is a small, dusty brown she-cat with amber eyes. She has a shaggy and unkempt pelt that is riddled with scars. Her belly is a brown color that is lighter than the rest of her body, almost leaning into the range of tan. She is blind in her left eye. Mousebelly is an older she-cat, and will probably be resting in the elder's den quite soon. She is prone to be cranky and easily annoyed, so most of the time she is quiet and keeps to herself. Jaggedpaw is her son.

A large handsome tom with dark gray fur, black stripes, and intense Amber eyes. He's a quiet, serious tom, usually keeping to himself. He does have a sense of humor, but only uses it when it's appropriate. He treats others fairly and is a very smart, logical tom. When Grayclaw was a new warrior, he fell in love with a beautiful she-cat named Lightwish. The two of them fell head over heels for each other and became mates within a very short amount of time. It didn't take long before Lightwish was expecting kits; both of them anxiously awaited the arrival of their kits with excitement. Unfortunately, bad luck struck the two star-crossed lovers; Lightwish ended up having the kits too early to be normal. During the kitting process, Lightwish's life was lost. She gave birth to two kits; a tom and a she-kit. The tom didn't live long and passed away along with his mother. The she-cat was strong enough to survive, and Grayclaw named her Stormkit. He raised her on his own, unaware of what the innocent kit would turn into as she got older.

A beautiful she-cat with long silver fur and dark gray stripes. She has a pale underbelly and intense intimidating blue eyes. Stormfire is an ambitious, aggressive battle-hungry she-cat. She believes that the best way to solve a problem is to fight your way out of it, which gets the Clan in trouble quite often. She's prone to anger, and she doesn't care who she's talking to. If she's disrespected, she'll lash out and won't be afraid to hurt someone. She's an amazing fighter, and her skills in battle go to her head, making her think she's invincible. She never knew her mother, which is probably one reason why she is the way she is. Stormfire never had a female influence in her life; she was raised by her father, Grayclaw. Stormfire's mother died giving birth, and took the only other kit of the litter with her. Stormfire was a sweet and innocent kit from the start, but every time her father put his warrior duties ahead of her, she grew more and more distant. She sought attention elsewhere, and she got it. But in the process her personality was changed. Ever since a young age she's always wanted to be leader, but she hasn't really told anyone yet. It's something she prefers to keep to herself, knowing others might ruin her chances of being leader. But she feels she would do anything to be leader.

Sootlight has quite a large, muscled build. With a soot grey coat and yellow eyes, he is quite a normal cat. He has darker mackeral tabby markings lining his fur and a fluffyish, thick bunch of fur. Sootlight has a long tail, ending in a snowy white tip and white paws. He has black spots dotted over his flanks and back. He has huge paws and large ears, kind of lowering his powerful and strong look. Named Sootlight for his soot-coloured coat and spirit, Sootlight definitly shows that. He is kind to those of BriarClan and extremely nice to she-cats. Sootlight is gentle to kits and refuses to yell or scold cats that get in trouble. He may seem like a goody-two-paws but he isn't. Always getting in trouble for eating while hunting or just disaboeying orders, there is quite a lot as to why he is such a defiant goody-two-paws. Sootlight adores to eat anything and loves to flirt with she-cats. He wants a mate and kits one day but knows that won't happen.

Ashpool, like her brother, is a large and muscled she-cat. However, she has a thin coat of ash grey fur that is flecked with darker grey. Her coat is like her brothers in feel and apperance, minus the tabby markings. She has a white face, muzzle, chest spot, and paws and a scar over her left eye. Ashpool has white over her left eye as well and black spotting over her fur. She is quite nimble and lithe, adding to the list of "Positive things about Ashpool". She has one green, one blue eye. Ashpool is unlike her brother. He's water, calm and collected. She is the wind, wild and all over the place. Ashpool is energetic, obnoxious, loud, annoying, and very snobby. She hogs a plump piece of prey herself and never shares it. She complains when she has to hunt or patrol with anyone. Ashpool has no good side to her at all, she's just a mischievous Warrior.

The best way to describe Aoife is a two sided creature. She extremely opinionated, and is often gets emotional very easily. On the outside, though, she tries her best to keep up the facade that she is kind and easygoing. She tries to be the sweetest cat she can possibly be, but often fails. All she wants is love and attention. That's not to say that she's vain and stuck-up, but she really wants to be liked, more then anything. She wants to be friends with cats she admires. She tries to do what she thinks other cats want her to do, even though that's usually not the case. She is desperate to be wanted and to feel like she's a part of some sort of community. She has a tendency to get too sucked up into things and activities, which usually isn't the best thing, as she ends up hurting people. She is quite naive, trusting and looking at everything she meets with rose tinted vision, no matter how many red flags there are. She often looks into things too much, and hurting herself because of it. Quite a lot, she hurts other cats without realising it, and that has extremely bad aftermath. She also says things quite passive-aggressively sometimes, to try and get cats to do what she wants. She always tries her very hardest to be good, but fails usually. Overall, she isn't evil or a bad cat, she's just naive and has a lot to learn.

I feel that I should say that, @winterlynx, it would probably be appreciated you shorten your character description. Mishka mentioned this to me in PM and the reason why the description is asked to be brief, is because long descriptions take waaaaaaaaay too much space. So could you please shorten Aoife considerably? It's kind of why Scarletstar's form is so short. ^^ ]

Her main flaw is that she internalizes everything and never deals with her problems, instead pushing them down and helping others face their own issues. This leads to her having many anxieties and frustrations that she can't quite pinpoint the source of, but she always puts on a brave face. She is a decent hunter, fighter, swimmer, and climber, though she doesn't particularly excel in any of these qualities. He is very dedicated to his Clan and would do almost anything for his Clanmates. He is strong-spirited and optimistic, and cares deeply about everyone he meets. This can of course be a hindrance in battle, but he is trying to overcome it. He has no wish to become deputy or leader and is happy where he is. His brother is Darktiger.

His fur is sleek and well-groomed, and while he's not particularly large, he's slightly bigger than the average warrior. He is an ambitious and serious tom with very few morals. He is willing to break any rules necessary to get what he wants. The only cats he's ever cared about are his mother and brother. His father loved him deeply, but disapproved of Darktiger's heartless and cunning attitude. Because of this, Darktiger grew to resent his father and planned to kill him until his father happened to get killed in battle, ruining the younger warrior's plans. He is ruthless and dangerous in battle and enjoys the rush he gets from fighting. He is a competent hunter but has trouble being patient enough to catch certain types of prey. He has no desire to find a mate or have a family, but would be willing to try it out if he thought it could help him accomplish his goals. He desperately wants to be a leader and is willing to kill to get there. His brother is Wingflame.
