Foxfang was caught off guard by the tabby's charge, and she felt the wind get knocked out of her as she was knocked to the ground. She tried to catch her breath before the she-cat got to Arctickit. I hope I can protect her, she thought.

Foxfang attempted to reach for Arctickit, but was too weak, and fell back down.

Ashkit clumsily darted towards his sister, hoping to get there in time.

Foxfang yelped, jumping towards the kit, but missed and landed on the nursery floor. "Help, a kit's been stolen!" she cried. Quailspring heard Foxfang and rushed to the nursery. "What happened?" he asked. "I was looking after them, and a gray she-cat snuck in and took Arctickit. I tried to fight her off, but she was too quick," she mewed in distress. "Try to calm the kits down, I'll tell Stormstar," he instructed before rushing towards her den. "Stormstar, a kit's been taken from the nursery," he yelled.

Blackdust was shocked as ever. He had never seen a kit being stolen.

Everyone available go after her! Now!!!"Stormstar yowls

Quailspring sprang from his spot in the corner of camp, and rushed towards where the she-cat had ran to. I won't let another kit be hurt, he thought. Newtstream saw his friend run away, and rushed after him.

Quailspring noticed Newtstream and Blackdust follow him towards the kit thief, and he smiled, knowing that he had allies to fight with if he caught up to the thief. As he ran faster, however,he saw the she-cat getting further and further away, until he could barely see her anymore. "She got away," he said. "Another kit hurt because of me, I'll make sure to never be a father," he moped.

Foxfang herded the other kits back into the nursery. Two kits gone in one day, what is happening to our Clan?, she wondered. "Where's Arctickit, will we get to see her again?" asked Ashkit. "I'm sure our warriors will fight those evil thieves," she replied. "I'll leave you with your mother now, though, I have warrior things to do." "Awwww, now I only have Meadowkit to play with," whined Ashkit.

"Monsterkit, stop yowling, Arctickit is in serious danger right now," scolded Ashkit. "I wish we could go save her."

Quailspring returned to camp with his group in low spirits. "Stormstar, we couldn't catch up to the thief, they probably have Arctickit in their camp by now," he sighed. 

"Do you mean attack the theives? We're just kits, it could never work." said Ashkit.

"Can I go?" asked Quailspring. "I want to make sure no more kits get hurt because of me." Newtstream looked at his friend in concern, he didn't like how Quailspring blamed himself for everything. "I'll go with you for support," he said, intending to keep an eye in him.

Monsterkit whisper again " we're small. Therefore sneakyer. So we can grab Arctickit from under her nose"

"That could actually work, Monsterkit!" exclaimed Ashkit. "How will we get out, though?"

"Well will ur have been frantic I have seached the den and found a hole in the back. See?" Monsterkit shows him" We can sneak through there and no one would notice"
