Spider watched from the shadows of the underbrush, watching the female with her new kits. She wondered why any shecat would want small, needy balls of fur that take up to much time and energy. She slowly crept closer to the new mother, her ears down and tail low to the ground. "Congratulations" she mewed at the Queen when she got close enough. "I'm sure your very proud."

Maple flinched at the harsh tone the large tom used. "S-sorry!" She squeaked. "U-um... I can .... help you if you'd like. I'm a sort of healer." She offered, a little intimidated by the large tom.

"I am Spider, nice to meet you and your new kits Rainfall." Spider purred, peering at the kits once more. "This might be a odd question but how does it feel to be a mother?" She asked, looking once more at Rainfall. Most mothers were quite protective of there kits and was very fussy but this queen seemed very calm.

(I was up late carving pumpkin, so sorry for poofing. I carved Bramblestar.)
Rainfall purred. "It's nice to meet you too Spider!" The queen paused for a moment at Spider's question. "No, Not odd at all! Being a mother is wonderful. I know I would go through the pain of giving birth again to be able to have these little cuties." She answered happily.

Spider smiled and nodded her head, satisfied with the response. "I see, well I can agree there they are quite cute. What did you name them?" She purred, glancing at the kits once again. She sat down next to the queen and curled her tail around her paws, being carful not to make any noise, she didn't want to disturb the little ones.

Daryl cried inside his den, it been days since his brother Merle was left behind on his journey here. Merle lost his paw after an accident and now was all alone. He was separated from his group after they never tried to help his brother, Merle. They didn't care about his brother. Their leader Rick didn't want to risk their lives just for Merle. Daryl sighed his black pelt bristled as he thought of his brother assumed to be dead by the others.

"Those are very fitting names, welcome to the world little ones." She purred then tipped her head to Rainfall, getting up on her feet. "I do hope we cross paths again soon and I wish you luck on your kits." She messed to rainfall. "I must be off, but I'm sure we will meet again." Spider took one last look at the sleeping kits and kind mother then padded off into the under growth and disappeared into the forest.
(I'm going to be gone for six days so that's why I had spider wander off, when I get back I will rp her coming back c: hope everyone has a wonderful Halloween! I will see you guys soon!)

Yarrow is good for broken skin and rashes... I think marry gold is for infection? Or was it toothache???? Aghhh!!!! I think it was infection. Maple shook her head and bounded over to a nearby oak, collecting the large leaves before padding over to the tom. Now is it used externally or internally? Well, internally might cause miscarriage and it could have bad effects and most leaves are used externally while flowers and roots are taken internally. Maple sat down and chewed the leaves into a poultice, applying them to the toms wounds before gathering some cobweb from branches to help keep the poultice on. "There." |

QuailfeatherLucifer nodded and started eating the herbs the young she-cat gave her. He ate one by one slowly hough. Pain flooded into him as well as a nasty taste inside his mouth. "Thank you, but I don't think herbs would help me.", said the tom sadly.

Maple shook out her fur and nodded in goodbye to the tom. She padded a ways away, finding borage, yarrow and horsetail before heading back to her little den where she settled down beside the queen, organizing the herbs against her wall. "Do you or the kits feel ill? Cold or sniffly?" She asked, hoping none of them would get sick.
