Tornshade just chuckled at their words and continued to walk. Taking a deep breath, he scented the air while keeping an eye out for any signs of moose or sheep in the area.

Scorpionshade shook his head as he sat down and wrapped his tail around his paws "no I do not. Although I am young. Perhaps I'll find a she-cat later in my years." Dragonfires whiskers twitched at his brother "no more waking me up so early now, huh?" Scorpionshade gave his brother an affectionate nudge "I suppose not." If not in far different pelts the two would never be mistaken for anything but kin.

Scorpionshade looked towards the entrance to the cave "it is coming along but she has much to learn, which is to be expected. I am hoping to take her out to train tomorrow. Perhaps the other mentors and apprentices could tag along." He blinked his eyes thoughtfully at the leader.

Dawnstar nodded slowly. "How's her...ah...habits? Getting better?" Her whiskers twitched at the thought of the troublesome apprentice.

Heatherwind slowed as well, sniffing the air. But they were still too far away for her to get a good scent on it. "What do you think it is?" It looked too small to be a moose or goat. And too fat. Certainly wasn't a wolf.

Tornshade crouched down automatically at the sight of the unknown figure and looked at the other two she cats "I'm not sure on what it is. Maybe we should check it out..?"

She was with Yellowstrike. I'm pretty sure that you can call her away though)

Venompaw yawned as he entered camp with his brother. Most cats couldn't tell them a part. In fact they'd never had a cat be able to tell them a pary. It didn't bother them much because they were on their own. It was just the two of them. The rest of the tribe was far away from them. Not physically, but they were social outcasts and they had accepted it. Viperpaw sat down next to his brother and began cleaning his paw.

Scorpionshade gave a nod and then he looked at his brother "although it may be a while I can't wait to see new kits in the clan." He turned his gaze to Dawnstar "If you ever need help with patrols I would be glad to help." The tom gave a nod. He loved to keep busy.

"A badger? I certainly hope not. They're a pain in the tail to deal with!" Tornshade complained quietly, a frown marring his face. He didn't know what to do, first the thought of the Wolves then dangerous things like badgers?

Tornshade shook his head slightly and nodded "Your right. Let's head out of here before it spots us" he said, glancing over to the two she cats in his party. He didn't want to deal with a badger today quite yet.

Tornshade shook his head slightly at her words while holding back a sigh "No its not but the clan would survive. It always has" he murmured, resisting the urge to glance back at the badger.

Heatherwind nodded in agreement. "Of course. The clan always survives beyond its members."

Dawnstar followed his gaze "We can bring them along if you like, although we should probably snag Opalshine and Rosewhisker while we're at it."

Rubypaw was with Yellowstrike in one of the connecting tunnel routs, trying to glance around innocently for bat guano. She hasn't given up on her prank on Quietpaw just yet and the guano would be perfect for it.
