(Awesome thanks! Sorry, dinner poof ) Ravenfeather sat inside the Elders' den. She was sitting in her nest of moss, cleaning her fur with brisk strokes. She sighed as she finished cleaning and sank deeper into her nest. The feminine was extremely bored. Maybe an apprentice would visit her, she always loved telling them stories, and the way they gasp and ask what happens next always makes her smile. (Can someone visit her?)

She sighed as she finished cleaning and sank deeper into her nest. The feminine was extremely bored. Maybe an apprentice would visit her, she always loved telling them stories, and the way they gasp and ask what happens next always makes her smile. (Can someone visit her?) Froststar shook out her fur, standing on the ridge outside of the cave. She could taste rain in the air and knew they should prepare for another long storm. She turned and padded into camp, catching glimpse of the elders den. She hadn't visited the elders in a while and suddenly felt guilty for neglecting them. She trotted over making her way into the elders den to be greeted by the familiar Shecat. "How are you Ravenfeather?" She asked the elder curiously. She hoped she was getting enough to eat, especially with another storm in toe. She sat down and wrapped her tail around her paws, hoping to start a conversation with the she-cat.

"Yes!" Shiverkit yowled, jumping up onto his own paws, the small tom looking younger than his own sister due to his size. "C'mon! Lets go and see if any 'prentice or warrior'll teach us some moves!" He squeaked, the pale tom scrambling and getting onto his paws, clearly ready to start his day.
"Lets head back, then?" Bearpaw asked, unaware of his mentors embarrassment. The tom was simply happy to be bringing back more than one piece of fresh kill, last time they caught nothing.
(Yeesh I feel ya. I sliced open my thumb with a knife today, and it still hurts when I try to use the part with the cut on it. Wooh. I hope your hand will feel better soon!) "Yes," the ton agreed, leading the way back to the tunnel, stopping once to let his apprentice gather the snow bunting. Then he ducked into the tunnel, the soft soil crumbling slightly into his fur as he padded into the darkness. "Make sure to keep close. I don't want you making an accidental turn and getting lost, especially with that storm coming."

Ravenfeather looked in Froststar's direction. The feminine recognizes the leader's voice. "Froststar! What a honor! I am doing well, thanks," she said calmly. "How are you doing today?"

"That's good to hear. I am also doing well, though I do still grieve for our fallen deputy." Froststar replied, her whiskers twitching slightly at the thought. It was strange to see the elder look at her, despite she was blind. "There's another storm coming. Sometimes it feels like Leaf-bare will never end." She meowed lightly, her voice laced with amusement, edged with worry.

Ravenfeather padded over and brushed her tail over Froststar's back. "Everything will be alright, may you find a new deputy half as smart and brave as he." The feminine slightly paused before continuing. "This storm will pass, leafbare will make way for new leaf soon, so don't worry. Everything happens for a reason."

Froststar nodded and let out a small purr. "How did you come to be so smart?" She didn't expect an answer and her whiskers twitched in amusement. She was almost jealous that a blind cat could read her thoughts so easily.

Ravenfeather sighed. "StarClan took my sight because I know too much. I have no clue how I know many things. Did I tell you about the battle against BloodClan? Tigerstar, The Great Battle? Or of Shadow, Thunder, River, Wind, and Sky, the first five Clans?" Shaking her head with sorrow she continued, "I know things that many shouldn't know. These are not mere legends, they are real. While you may think being this wise is a gift, sometimes it is indeed a curse."

"Yes, I remember hearing of the original clans in elders tails when I was a kit, but I do remembering hearing of a Lionclan, Tigerclan and I think two more, but I don't remember ever hearing their stories. I'm acting like a kit, but do you know them?" Frost star asked, trying to keep the conversation light, but she was indeed curious.

Ravenfeather meowed, "You wish to hear of Modern TigerClan and LionClan? We'll have to go back many moons before to get a full grasp of the story. This may take a while, if you still wish to listen. No one could call you a kit for seeking wisdom, for the smartest of cats know that they have much left to learn." The feminine paused before adding, "Including myself." The molly chuckled and lay back down onher bed of moss, gesturing for the leader to sit on the moss bed next to her.

Aspenmist was glad his apprentice understood and he lead the way down the tunnel, making a right then after a few moments he emerged into the clearing. He bounded over to the freshkill pile and dropped his piece of prey on the small mound. "Great job today Bearpaw. Get some rest now." He praised the younger cat.

Froststar sat down on the moss next to the elder, excited to hear the story. She sweated her tail around her paws, ears perked to catch every word.

Ravenfeather cleared her throat and began, "It all started in ThunderClan long ago, back in the forest territories before it was destroyed by tree-cutting monsters...."
The feminine paused before continuing, "I suppose you heard of Tigerstar?"

"But Aspenmist! Theres still so much we could do today!" The young apprentice protested, eyes wide with indignance. He didn't want to just hunt- he wanted to learn how to fight,to! So unfair He huffed inwardly before letting out a small sneeze. Aspenmist's fur stood straight up at the sneeze and at that instant a wave of both worry and anger washed over him. "You should never have left camp today. Do you know what could've happened? You could've fainted, you could've gotten green cough, you could've died out there Bearpaw!" He scolded. "Go to the medicine cat's den. Now." His tail was lashing and he took in a break trying to calm himself. I guess I'm still a bit worried for the younger cats after the prior deputies death from his blackcough, but still, Bearpaw shouldn't be out in the cold sick. I don't exactly want my first apprentice dying on me, not to mention we'd loose a great to-be-warrior. He let out a soft sigh. "Sorry. Just, I don't want you getting sick. I promise, later if your feeling better, we can do a bit of combat on the ledge." He tried cheering the younger cat up.
