Halfsun thought about Heatherstripe's words. She seemed like she really did believe in what she said, maybe it was okay to say somethings, but he should watch out either way. He continued walking along the Plains that they called home, a buffalo herd could be seen at a distance, too far off to be a threat, but definitely something to keep an eye out for. A tree stood nearby, one of the few trees that actually inhabited the plains. Halfsun lead her over to said tree, out of the way if buffalo did decide to come down this path. He climbed up the branches, but stayed on the lower ones because of how things the branches were. "It's good to know someone sides with me on this. I've always wondered why Applestar let her be leader."

"Me too, I mean you were fit for the job after all! You well make me happy if you take over, but sadly we have to wait until SilverStar loses her nine lives Halfsun.", purred Heatherstripe to Halfsun with a soft gaze at him. Following him, she smiled and she pressed against his fur for comfort.

Halfsun smiled awkwardly at Heatherstripe's forward gesture before scooting over a little. Hopefully it did not hurt her feelings, as that was not his intentions, but he has not really known her too well and the movement seemed very...not right for their relationship as Clanmates. He opened his mouth to say something until he realized Silverstar was behind them. fox-dung Halfsun cursed. He was not allowed to say that around apprentices or the nursery, so he would not say it around here in front of their apprentice for a leader. This was embarrassing for GrassClan, whoever heard of an apprentice for a leader? Their allies will see them as Weak and soon they won't be allies anymore, they will be their new rulers. It was not only for his sake that she was removed from her position but for the Clan's as well

Halfsun rolled his eyes, but made sure Silverstar could not see it. She was such a liar, and she lied like an apprentice too. Halfsun thought leaders were supposed to be brave, not scared of prey. "Did you need me to fight off that deadly rabbit for you?" He teased and joked towards her. This was probably the one moment he has seen her embarrass herself outside of camp. She seems to hardly ever come out to the open, and she doesn't seem like she is all that skilled in hunting either. Halfsun winked at Heatherstripe, he had an idea. Maybe they just tease the leader as of now, if they can send her crying to her mommy...even better. Halfsun was about to continue but instead waited for Silverstar
