@blubberywhales Heatherstripe sat next to Halfsun and mewed loudly in protest along the tom. "Ya! I agree with Halfsun! We just can't be allies with another clan so easily SilverStar!", growled the tabby warrior in outrage. Silver StarClan was too young to be leader and she wanted Halfsun to take over since he is a far better choice.

Silverpaw to reply. Let's play a game while we wait? How about we get to know a bit more about each other? I have something we can fill out and then post so we can get to know each other better. (Yes I prepared something, why wouldn't I?))

Halfsun had a feeling that no one would back him up on his accusation, as most warriors seem to agree that an apprentice aged leader is acceptable. Was he the only sane one in GrassClan? At least, that is what Halfsun thought until he heard Heatherstripe defend him. It was a relief to hear someone had agreed with him finally. Some cats just didn't like Halfsun and would not back him up no matter what was happening all out of spite. But most did know right from wrong, and it was helpful in situations like this. Halfsun could feel himself standing taller because of a Clanmate's trust in him. "I have sat through a lot of things Silverstar, and listen to your ridiculous ideas, but now I'm sick of it! You are not fit to be leader. Just face it. You getter go back to the apprentice den before you do anymore damage and let your deputy take over!" He spat. He was sick of it. All of this mess he had been forced into, and now Silverstar leaves he position peacefully, or by force. And Halfsun was not afraid to beat her back to where she belongs. He found himself coming closer to her, slowly, with his claws scoring the earth behind him

@blubberywhales silverpaw things going to go down.) Heatherstripe stood beside her crush and heard what he said back in defense to Silverstar. She glared at the apprentice aged leader and hissed," How are we going to survive with allies? We can defend our own territory without an Allie SilverStar! After all you are an apprentice! Let Halfsun take over and lead this clan!" Heatherstripe stood closer to Halfsun and touched his shoulder with her tail showing that she cares about him so much, that even if he was ambitious, she would stick with him in any idea he made.

Halfsun was so flustered that he did not even notice Heatherstripe's tail on his shoulder. All of these emotions stirred inside him, he felt so much on the inside that he did not even feel on the outside. Halfsun glared at Silverstar. Would this be another battle he could not win? Was he destined to lose this battle? It felt that way. He kept moving towards Silverstar though, to where he was right below the rock where she made her announcements. The Clan looked in awe. No one stood up to a leader in this way. Halfsun would be the first, and if things went wrong, he would be the last. However, out of all the thoughts going through his mind, that was not one of them. "Silverstar, face it. We have trouble defending our borders from predators, just tell them already!" He motioned to the Clan. It was true. GrassClan was having trouble with hawks, and buffalo, and other large creatures. GrassClan could fight off hawks yes, but buffalo? That was unheard of. They were easily 40 times the size of the cats, and most likely more. "We don't need a different Clan to start spying on, we need to focus on us. Not them. Look at your priorities!"

@blubberywhales Growling, Heatherstripe's eyes glared at the leader still. She noticed that Halfsun walked closer to Silverstar. "After all Silverpaw, we don't need an apprentice leading us. We are warriors and we can lead ourselfs.", mocked the light tabby apprentice to the leader. She unsheathed her claws by just thinking of her leader, an apprentice. Trouble was just stirring inside the clan because of her horrible decisions she made. Walking towards Halfsun near the leader, she was blinded by him, she whispered to the tom," I will fight along side with you. I think we need a new leader." She was ready to rip all the lives of the leader to make Halfsun the new leader.

"I'm gonna go put my catch on the fresh-kill pile. See you back at camp," Spiritpaw said through a ton of prey in his mouth that he had to carry. After a not long trip from the hunting grounds, he arrived back at the camp. Seeing the whole clan together close surrounding the rock where the young leader stood, he realized a meeting was going on, even while he was away. He quickly dropped off his catch and rushed over to them and asked the two cats closest to the rock, "What's going on? I was out hunting with Pineclaw, so i pretty much missed the whole meeting."

Pineclaw followed the apprentice and when he came into the camp was just as shocked at he was to find a clan meeting happening without him. Quickly he set his prey down and rushed over to where the other warriors stood. He arrived just in time to hear Nightwillow informing Spiritpaw about what was happening.
"Halfsun just challenged Silverstar to be clan leader", Nightwillow meowed in a hushed tone. She personally knew that Halfsun was right to challenge the young cat for the position as leader, mainly because the clan needed a strong, seasoned, active leader for the clan. Silverstar was never around so it made it very confusing for the clan as it was. However Silverstar did receive her nine lives so that had to count for something didn't it...

"I agree Silverstar is quite young, but did she even have a choice to become a leader?" Spiritpaw asked. "Besides," Spiritpaw leaned in to whisper something in Nightwillow's ear, "Halfsun would make a terrible leader. He's too old and would force everyone to work day and night, with barley any breaks. Also, Halfsun is old; almost 'ready-to-move-to-the-elder's-den' old."

Nightwillow snickered softly at the young cats whispers. "Have some respect, the both of them are still higher in rank than you", she meowed and the black she-cat cuffed the toms ears with a playful swipe. What ever happened she just hoped that all the cats could be happy and the clan would stick together.

Silverstar left Halfsun seething in anger when she just dismissed the Clan. She, like usual, didn't even bother to hear what he had to say. He figured he shouldn't be so surprised. It was typical Silverstar. Chosen by the previous leader or not, Silverstar angered him every time he saw her face. His tail was lashing to and fro as he turned back to face the others. He commanded, "Get back to what you were doing." it was evident in his voice that he was annoyed. Halfsun couldn't honestly care less if Silverstar fell off of a cliff, although he never dared say this outloud. Halfsun bared his teeth to no one in particular, but just to keep him from tearing someone to shreds. He stalked out of camp, needing to take his anger out on something, or at least cool down. When he started heading out of camp though he noticed Spiritpaw, of course. Why not add him into the mix of anger? Thanks a lot StarClan Halfsun thought to himself bitterly.

@blubberywhales Heatherstripe is love sick.) Heatherstripe looked at Halfsun knowing he was angry. "Halfsun?", she mewed to the golden tom with a soft voice. The light tabby followed and stared at SilverStar's den, the leader just left not knowing what to do now. She sure had a lot of cats against her now.

Halfsun hardly heard Heatherstripe as she called to him, but when he did he stopped. His claws dug into the earth below him. This was the only thing keeping him from lashing out at someone he did not want to hurt. He tried to keep his voice steady, and turned his head only about one quarter towards her, "Yes?" He asked her, trying to unclench his jaw. She didn't do anything, he should try not to lash out at her. He wanted to leave camp though. Maybe he can do something productive while taking his anger out on something. And if someone crossed the border, someone.

@blubberywhales sorry for my short reply earlier.) "Maybe you want to take a walk to calm you down?", asked the light tabby to him softly. Heatherstripe walked next to him and her eyes was full of care and love to him. Her dark blue eyes looked at him with sympathy. "I know Silverstar is a mouse-brain Halfsun. I think you should be leader.", mewed Heatherstripe to the tom.

When Heatherstripe started to approach him, he began to walk toward the enterance. "I was just about to take one actually." Halfsun told her flatly. Not feeling any emotion besides anger at the moment. However, company would be nice for him to have, so he motioned her to follow. He should probably warn her that with his mood right now she should probably stay back at camp unless she wanted him to snap at her. If he did, it would be on accident. Halfsun would never snap at a Clanmate that was trying to help. He liked to see cats at least make an attempt to do things. Halfsun continued to the enterance even though he motioned her to come with him, not checking to see if she actually did. Halfsun was a very 'keep your nose to the grindstone' kind of cat. He thought of life as work as hard as you can now, and your work will be repaid when you pass on. The harder you work now, the more free time you have when you reach StarClan. It was nice being out in the open again when he did leave. The breeze through his fur helped calm him down some, but it would still take time. Time to forget, time to rethink.

@blubberywhales Purring softly," Okay, well let's go." Heatherstripe followed the tom outside of camp. The light tabby followed him and mewed,"Don't worry, SilverStar doesn't know what she is doing. You will be a better leader in my opinion." Heatherstripe smiled at him as she touched him on the shoulder with her nose. The breeze hit against her face and fur, which made her eyes closed a bit. Her dark blue eyes focused on her paws as they walked.

Halfsun tried to pay no attention to her nose by his shoulder, but he knew she was only trying to comfort him. When she made her comment about Silverstar he spoke up, "If I get to be leader anyway. She is already young and most deputies don't even get to become leader when the leader is already at the proper age. How am I ever going to be leader when she is only 12 moons old and still has nine lives?" Halfsun challenged slightly. Today was not turning out to be his day so far. Then again, has it ever? Halfsun kept walking, with face towards the wind, unlike Heatherstripe's whose head was down facing her feet. It was slightly odd to him, she is part of GrassClan and should be used to the wind by now, but he did not question it.

@blubberywhales "Well maybe I can help you maybe take her down.", suggested Heatherstripe to Halfsun. "I mean we can work together to form a riot and force her to put her leadership down.", purred the light tabby to Halfsun. She smiled, but it was a sinister one as if she was bad.

When Heatherstripe spoke Halfsun stopped walking and turned his head towards her, giving her a questionable look. "In all honesty, I can not envision you doing something like that before today." Heatherstripe didn't seem like the type of she-cat that would pull something of that scale. Halfsun could see a few others, but definitely not Heatherstripe. She always seemed quiet to him. Not very outspoken. Perhaps she was very different than what we thought of her before. He turned his head back to the direction they were walking but continued to stay still. Halfsun sighed, "As much as I hate Silverstar, I know that will not be an easy thing to do. Plus, who knows how long this would take? All the factors of this problem are overwhelming. These are cats we are talking about. They change their thoughts and minds. It's easier said then done." it was a nice thought to have of Silverstar no longer being leader, but there were so many things that came into play when planning something of this scale. He wasn't even sure if Heatherstripe agreed with him about Silverstar. For all he knew, she could be trying to find out information about him for Silverstar. It would not be until he got other opinions about Silverstar would he even think about planing something even relatively close to that.

@blubberywhales "Your right, but I believe you are the one to lead Grass Clan not her. After all she is an apprentice and she doesn't know how to order around, but you are something. You can demand cats to do stuff, she can't. You can lead patrols and hunting parties, but SilverStar can't. Not suggesting that we should kill her, but force her to put down her leadership.", mewed Heatherstripe to him with honesty inside her. The light tabby continued walking as she tried harder to calm him down. She regretted those words she said to him about taking SilverStar diown. The anger just engulfed her to make Halfsun the new leader no matter what. She wanted a new cat in charge rather than an apprentice as her leader.

For Halfsun, the anger has passed. It was almost like suspicion now towards Heatherstripe. He was quite unsure as to whether or not she was on his side. She might be, but he better keep his guards up and make sure he did not reveal anything suspicous. "How many other warriors think that she is unfit to be leader?" yes, that was a good question. It would reveal more about her loyalty than his own. Of course, most cats knew he questioned the leader and most desicions she made, but they didn't suspect him of a revolutionary. It was not like Halfsun could plot a revolution either unless he had allies, and unfortunately, there were not that many of them either. "Why did you help me back there anyway? Besides disagreeing with the leader, but I mean, how come you have not done so until now?" hopefully this question would be difficult for her to answer if she was just using him. Depending on her answer, it would affect how this would go.
