i have to pee within like 30-60min of drinking. sometimes a bit longer if i’m sitting down because that can kind of mask it and then i dont realize until i stand up. one of the reasons i hate being hydrated.

I did 9 hours once (long story).
I hate stopping during long car trips since I just want to get to the destination asap with no distractions, plus I hate most public restrooms LMAO

15 hours, although I don’t recommend. Mostly happens because I don’t have time to take a break at my job sometimes. If you hold it long enough, you sometimes no longer feel the need to pee. Probably not a good sign.

Interesting. Is diabetes really annoying to have i'm not a diabetic but having to poke yourself with a needle every day sure doesn't sound convenient to me Honestly. For HRT (which I’m not doing [yet?]) apparently you have to do that as well, but every week and not every day. If/when I start that, man I hope there’s a new way to do that because I’m deathly terrified of needles. (And horses lol but that has nothing to do with this)

If you’re comfortable sharing, if you’ve gone thru hrt what’s it like?

That's not necessary with ftm transitions there is a testosterone gel that you can use Oh really? That’s neat. If you’re comfortable sharing, if you’ve gone thru hrt what’s it like? I had to stop after a few months in because i started having heart problems and I was becoming violently emotionally unstable and tried to severely hurt someone in a fit of unwarranted rage and decided id rather just be miserable than accidentally kill someone because i was blackout angry. its a side effect that even the trans community tries to hide and has actively called me transphobic and fear-mongering for even though its an experience i have that literally happened to me. not everyone is able to go through the massive hormonal adjustments of what is essentially a second puberty especially if you are already pretty unstable as is. that being said. i am probably an extreme exception because im already bpd/cptsd and have other health issues. a slightly more common one is transmasc people developing pcos-like symptoms if testosterone doesn't make their periods stop completely and before getting them removed. Other than that most of the physical changes are hair growth and loss and some changes to where your body stores fat. Its also easier to develop muscle.

That's not necessary with ftm transitions there is a testosterone gel that you can use Oh really? That’s neat. If you’re comfortable sharing, if you’ve gone thru hrt what’s it like? To share a different perspective, I'm currently taking testosterone HRT, which I inject once weekly. My doctor gave me the option to do the gel, but she said that her patients rarely get up to their desired levels of T with the gel, so idk. I started about four years ago. It's been the most amazing experience for me; it has given me a lot more confidence and has stabilized my mood. I love all of the physical changes, too: lower voice, fat redistribution, halting of menstrual cycle (which I wouldn't have now anyways because I had a hysterectomy), and a more muscular stature. Within about seven months, people started gendering me as male 100% of the time (which I'm totally fine with, but someone who is aiming to look more androgynous might want to go on a lower dose for short amount of time). I looked really young for a few years, but now I'm finally starting to look my age. Everyone has a different experience with it, though. I took a pretty big leap of faith starting it when I was nineteen after only a month or so of recognizing my dysphoria. It can change your appearance, mental state, sex drive, sexuality, and more, and you have little to no control over what changes you get. Some people, like Leap, have really negative experiences and reactions to it. Additionally, a lot of the changes are permanent, so you should be fairly confident that it's the right choice for you, and make peace with the fact that there's always the possibility (however slight!) you might dislike the changes or want to detransition.

I'm diabetic so I am ALWAYS needing to pee because I drink a lot. Interesting. Is diabetes really annoying to have Yes LOL. It's very annoying because you have to watch what you eat/drink at all times. Too much water can actually lower your blood sugar too low, so you're stuck drinking sugary things to get it back up. Only to have it too high. The cycle never ends lol. Plus poking your fingers with a needle hurts after awhile. While it's best to alternate fingers, they get really sore. Today my sugar was too high, and it made me feel awful. It's not fun at all. I'm Type 2, which is the diabetes that you can get as an adult/teen. Type 1 is the one you're typically born with/have as a child, but grow up with.

Also I'm laughing at the last option, because if I drank only water I'd die lmao. Not because I dislike water, but because water flushes out your kidneys, and strangely enough as a diabetic you need sugar to not die lol.

Me and my friend are trying to see who can go longer without drinking water, and we’re allowed to drink literally anything else and it’s been 5 days I HAVENT HAD WATER- wait if anyone on the forums is a medical something or other, how long is it safeish to do this? edit: it has been in fact a whole week, I just checked

One of my friends is a pre-diabetic, so does that mean it’d be Type 2 for her because she wasn’t born with it?
