Brownie About DarkClan I just have a few things I'm stuck on, it's fine if you don't have an answer for any of them but if you can think of any of these off the top of your head, that would be great. First of all, what happens when the leader dies? Like, I'm assuming they don't dissolve into chaos, because of the Voice and harmony and stuff, but how to they choose the new leader? The next question, is the Voice a living cat, or the name of their organization and beliefs and stuff, or is it something like the Force? And finally, I've developed a system for mentors and apprentices, where the apprentices will be trained be a different cat every day, but only by cats of a higher rank, (or of the same rank if an apprentice is somehow a Five and the Six doesn't want to or can't train them), but do you have any ideas on how they become warriors? Because it will probably be different than the Clans. Just wondering if you have any of the answers from when you were making it, if not that's totally fine I can probably figure it out. I can totally brainstorm some stuff! The whole point of the Voiceless is that each rank effectively functions as a single individual; they aren't supposed to have any individuality at all, and their ideals would proport that everyone of the same rank has the same needs and desires, and acts with one mind as a collective. In effect, that means Lightningstar isn't really the one in charge--the Sixes are, she just happens to be the only one. If she dies, the chain of command simply falls down a rank: the Fives. All of them, collectively, because they are considered "one" individual. If the main group sends another Six, they would be in charge; if the main group sent another Five, they would only be added to the collective council. If all the Fives died, command of the group would fall to any surviving Fours. At some point, they would probably retreat and regroup. I tried to make this group's way of life completely alien to how the Clans are set up while still trying to justify how they think. The details on how that came to be or how those moral tenants are practically implemented is up to you. The idea is that this group doesn't have "apprentices". Whenever a cat wishes to move up a rank, they can do so by winning two duels against a cat of the next rank up. "Ones" are simply cats that have never won a duel. "Twos" have won duels against two Twos, "Threes" have won two duels against other Threes ect. All the way to Five. Sixes and Sevens are special, and cannot earn their place with duels, and are instead appointed ("Elevated") by someone higher in the organization. Maybe all the collective Fives can nominate cats to be a Six--a literal pyramid structure, where when there's enough of a rank, a higher rank is created to manage them (again, remembering that "making choices" is something this group likes to avoid or offset to someone higher ranked; that "making a choice" no matter how small is considered dangerous and should only be done by those wise enough to do so). This probably wouldn't be allowed if there is any cat of higher rank available to appoint Sixes, even back in their main base. They'd have to retreat and let some other cat make that choice for them. As for the Voice being a living cat... that's really up to you. You never have to describe that part of their culture if you don't want to; they probably have a "Voice" that "speaks for the Voice" (remember, they don't like individual power, so even if that cat were at the pinnacle of their hierarchy, they would claim their appointment came from something else (ie a deity, their subjects, a vision, their Code ect)). I mentioned Lightningstar as one of the daughters of the Voice, but it's totally up to you if that's literal, metaphorical, or if she's only the daughter of some very high ranking member of the group and the Voice is something separate entirely!

VioletClan The Graceful and Optimistic
- - - - - - - - - - - -
ABOUT
In VioletClan, optimism is in every cat's blood. They need it, to survive the myriad of different struggles their Clan must face each year and the constant wars with their neighbors. VioletClan might be the largest Clan with the biggest territory, but they don't typically have the viciousness of SilverClan nor the clever battle strategies of CloverClan.
VioletClan's cats tend to have medium-length fur. Many are grey or ginger, with dilutes dominating the Clan. Chocolates are relatively uncommon and black or cinnamon fur are both rare. VioletClan's cats typically have large, wide feet for climbing and swimming and feathery tails. They tend to have good balance. They also tend to have poor night vision, especially compared with SilverClan. - - - - - - - - - - - - BORDERS SilverClan is to the northeast. They are known for strength, ruthlessness, and tenacity. Their cats have long fur, dark colors, and very good night vision. Their territory is very hilly, dominated by stony ridges and mossy slopes, with a primarily birch and aspen overstory. They are VioletClan's oldest rivals and tend to be rather aggressive. They believe themselves the hardiest and strongest Clan, and the best fighters. VioletClan and SilverClan have been at more of a cold war than an active war the last few seasons, but now that VioletClan is under attack by CloverClan, SilverClan is starting to become more aggressive too, seeking to retake territory they believe they deserve now that VioletClan's attention is distracted and their warriors weakened.
CloverClan is to the northwest. They are known for being clever, agile, and pacifist. Their cats tend to have heavy white spotting and favor browns and gingers, with short fur and nimble, long-legged figures. Their territory is flatter and more open, with plenty of space between the trees and plenty of open plainland. They think themselves nimble and clever and rarely bring their Clan into conflict with the others, believing themselves better than barbaric fighting and war. They adhere strongly to the Code and to their own sense of honor.
CloverClan is currently at war with VioletClan. Robinstar (once deputy of CloverClan, now acting leader) learned of Ivystar's pregnancy with a VioletClan tom's kits and used it to blackmail her, convincing a small group of warriors to threaten her out of the Clan. When Ivystar later tried to convince her Clanmates that she was hiding in VioletClan not because she was a prisoner, but because her own Clanmates drove her out, Robinstar twisted her speech to convince CloverClan's warriors that VioletClan corrupted their leader and that she must be rescued to be saved. - - - - - - - - - - - - TERRITORY VioletClan's territory is split in two, with a river down the center.
Northbank is their main territory, VioletClan's homeland and the center of their strength. This forest is as one might expect from a old new england hardwood forest: maples, beeches, birches and hemlock create a dense overstory, with some shrub understory texturing the landscape's hillsides and flood zones. VioletClan's territory is more heavily forested than CloverClan's, and more mixed than SilverClan's, which is primarily birch and aspen.
Southbank was the territory of a Clan called FogClan, many moons ago. But FogClan suffered a horrible greencough epidemic, leaving them with only two warriors and an apprentice by the end of leaf-bare, and their territory was quickly taken over by VioletClan, their only neighbors, the land too far away for CloverClan or SilverClan to contest, impossible to access without the river crossings VioletClan controlled.
The southern territory is often covered in a bank of fog. The river doesn't often flood, but when it does, it spills on this side of the bank rather than VioletClan's forest. This land used to be a manicured park: long grassy stretches and odd trees are characteristic of Southbank, along with thick, overgrown flower beds that hold rare herbs.
Southbank is connected to Northbank by an old, mossy stone bridge. Another potential crossing lies to the east, where a tangle of fallen trees juts out from VioletClan's side, bridging enough of the fast-flowing river that a brave cat might jump the gap. Both crossings are heavily patrolled by VioletClan and jealously protected, as the next best place to cross is almost a day's travel upstream.
Cragstar's Hold is ravine that slices two hillsides, with a small creek tumbling down the bottom that eventually joins the river. Once SilverClan's land, VioletClan seized it when FogClan--still strong--was raiding their southern territory from their secret crossings over the river. VioletClan's leader, Cragstar, held the ravine in a battle against a SilverClan force twice his Clan's size, giving this iconic hunting ground its name. It is treasured for herbs.
- - - - - - - - - - - - CAMPS VioletClan has two camps. The first is on Northbank, a small thicket of elderberry shrubs protected on three sides by a stony ridge. This isn't VioletClan's original camp: that was on the top of the ridge, proud and visible and always bustling with cats. Now, VioletClan's main camp is on Southbank, further from the borders and protected from the raids threatened by the other two Clans now that they are at constant war. VioletClan has never abandoned their main camp like this before, and some cats are very upset that they are giving up their homeland, even if it is strategically sound to keep their queens and healers further from danger and behind the protection of the river.
VioletClan's Northbank camp houses only a few warriors at a time, mostly cats that are needed for dawn patrols the next day, and only has two dens: the first, a small enclosed space between a pair of large boulders that can hold three or four cats; the other, a bigger, open den--a collection of nests, really--in the center of the elderberry bushes where any other cat can rest. The sheltered nests are always the most prized, and always given to the most respected warriors that are staying at the camp.
The Southbank camp is where most of VioletClan's most vulnerable stay. It is the center of the abandoned park, where a moss-covered fountain dominates a small square surrounded by overgrown flower beds.
The fountain itself houses the medicine cat's den: bone dry and covered almost entirely by plywood, this cool, enclosed space is perfect for protecting the Clan's herb supply and dark enough that injured cats can rest.
Other dens are formed in each of the four cardinal directions, within the raised flower beds that are now thickets of weeds. The warrior's den is to the south, the apprentice's den to the east, the elder's den to the north and the nursery in the west.
The leader has no defined den and makes announcements from atop the fountain's statue. - - - - - - - - - - - - ALLEGIANCES - LEADER - Flurrystar - A very pale grey tom with darker rosettes and amber eyes. Independent, very clever, proud

PLOTS
A Forbidden Romance Main: Flurrystar, Chillfur, Ivystar Minor:
Flurrystar's brother, Chillfur, had a forbidden relationship with CloverClan's leader, Ivystar. Flurrystar has known about this for a while, and while he's tried to get his brother to stop seeing Ivystar, he was never able to convince Chillfur to stay away. It was only after Ivystar bore his kits that Flurrystar drew the line and for once, Chillfur listened, afraid further entanglements might endanger her or the kits. Still, somehow the secret got out; CloverClan's warriors staged a coup and forced Ivystar and her half-Clan kits out of CloverClan, and she was forced to flee to VioletClan where Chillfur begged his brother to let his mate stay. But VioletClan is uneasy with a rival leader in their camp, and pointed remarks are becoming open threats as tensions rise, only barely kept in check by Flurrystar and Quailspots, who are trying to calm the Clan by keeping Ivystar and the kits in Southbank. But that's only a temporary solution, and everyone knows it.
Stolen Kits Main: Thornpaw, Kestrelpaw Minor: Minkleaf, Rowanstorm, Newtshadow, Suntail, Dawncloud
It was Minkleaf's idea to steal SilverClan's kits. The two Clans have been rivals for as long as any cat can remember, and ploys to weaken their enemies are always on the table. Stealing kits, though, breaking the Code so thoroughly Minkleaf knew her nephew Flurrystar would never approve.
She brought Newtshadow and Suntail along: Newtshadow was the sneakiest cat in the Clan, it would be easy for the pale molly to slip the kits out of SilverClan's camp right under their noses; and Suntail, well... Suntail was a cat that didn't ask questions, and that's all Minkleaf needed.
They timed the kit-stealing with Rowanstorm's birth. It was easy to convince her to take in the two "abandoned" kits as she'd only had one kitten, Tricklekit, and plenty of milk to spare. She had some questions about the kits' origins and doubts the deputy was telling the truth about where she found them, but secretly holds the opinion that they were a medicine cat's kits, or half-Clan that a queen wasn't brave enough to claim. It isn't her place to dig deeper, though, and so she doesn't.
There's only one catch: Dawncloud, hunting alone near the border, saw the kit-stealing squad cross SilverClan's border. Minkleaf let her in on the secret and so far she's promised secrecy, but the continued lie grates on Dawncloud, who hates keeping secrets. Every time the stolen kits are brought up in gatherings, or in gossip, doubt chips away at her heart.
Spreading Truth Main: Chestnutpaw Minor: Rainpelt, Smokepaw, Dewpaw
Once an apprentice in CloverClan, Chestnutpaw was "captured" by Rainpelt after a battle. The young molly was very injured and, when CloverClan turned tail to run, abandoned by her Clan. Rainpelt brought her to VioletClan's camp to be healed, and for a while Chestnutpaw was considered a prisoner... that is, until she discovered that Ivystar wasn't being held against her will, that Robinstar's cruelty was the root of the war and that all she had been told was lies...
Since then, Chestnutpaw is driven to secretly meet with her friends, the other CloverClan apprentices, to tell them not to fight and to convince their mentors and Clanmates of the truth. Smokepaw, Rainpelt's daughter, became close friends with Chestnutpaw and would do anything to help her.
Dewpaw's father, Crestleap, was killed in the war. He feels Robinstar isn't allowed to be leader based on lies and propaganda, and almost wants to help Chestnutpaw turn CloverClan against her, viewing that as a poetic end to his revenge for his father's death. - - - - - - - - - - - -

Hello!!
I'm just going to tell you now, I plan on coming back a lot if you'll allow me lol
As for what I want, I would like a Clan with the name WillowClan with the modifier of the Clan being extra large. And, if it isn't too much, I would like a family tree for the Clan.
As an extra ask, if it isn't too much to ask, I would prefer more lyrical names and strictly no names with pelt, fur, eye, face, ear, foot, tail, stripe, spot/s, general pattern, or spirit suffixes. But heart, belly, nose, claw, fang, tooth, and throat are alright in moderation. But I'd prefer more lyrical names like Nightsparrow or Serpentbreath over names like Skyheart or Lionclaw (Note -- don't use these exact names, they're existing characters of mine that I use for examples lol)
But if that last bit is too much to ask, I'd be okay with anything! I just thought I'd ask just in case I can lower how much I may have to do lol -- so you don't ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO do that part :3
