I can give a little more detail on all three found litters! Kitekit (and Carnationkit rip) came from the kittypet Foxtrot! These were the first kits Hatchhusk found. They were in the cornfield and she probably died of birth complications.  Pineconekit, Bristlekit and Pheasantkit the curly-fur kits actually have FlowerClan blood! Their mom was an ex-FlowerClan warrior (maybe even medicine cat) who took the name Bravespots when she ran away to be with her loner mate. It's implied that Jamilah knew the father from her own time as a loner and is still in contact with him. The kits were born in the middle of winter and Bravespots was unfortunately weakened by hunger and didn't make it.  Dogkit, Larchkit and Bugkit were recently found beside the road. It was somewhat implied that they could have been dumped there by the same people alongside Stargazer and Mari. The kit-stranding event always has a dead parent, but if the kits were simply taken away and dumped, their dad could potentially be alive somewhere.  |
