Bugkit opened her eyes and froze. Beneath her paws, the soft moss of the medicine cat den had been replaced by a ground transparent as ice. Through it she saw the tops of mountains and trees and rivers as if she were flying overhead. Tiny dotted cats milled about the scenery, as small and insignificant as ants. The sight was so disorientating Bugkit felt ill. She stood up abruptly and stumbled across the shining clearing, blinking against the brightness of the stars.
Where was she? Where was she? She had to be dreaming, but this felt more real than any dream. She felt a rising sense of panic and was about to cry for help before a tail lightly brushed her shoulder. Bugkit turned around.
Ah, she thought. She looks almost exactly like Dogkit. In that instant Bugkit finally understood she was dead.
“You’re here a little early,” her mother mewed sadly. Her whiskers were lined with tiny stars like snowflakes. “Fate has been cruel to you.”
“Really cruel,” Bugkit said bitterly. “I didn’t get to become an apprentice. Didn’t even get to train with Pumpkinpaw and practise killing bites. Life’s just not fair.”
Bugkit waited for a response. She expected something comforting, like something a mother would say, like, It had to happen, or StarClan has its reasons, or Well, you see... Anything at all to explain why she had to die.
Eventually, Bugkit realised she wouldn’t get an answer because there wasn’t one. Life was just like that sometimes. She went to sit with her mother, and curled her tail with hers as they watched the world below in silence.

PUMPKINPAW [ Depression. ] " Will I ever know... the sweet... 'Hello!' that's meant for only meeee...? " (Where is Love? from Oliver!)
Pumpkinpaw laid in the den, crying.
She wanted to get out of here. Her leg just won't heal. She needed to get over it. Now she's far behind training, and is barely moons away from turning into an adult. Pumpkinpaw couldn't handle it.
She just wanted to be back.
She wanted to be back to Wildclove.
But she wanted to go train with Auburncreek.
She just wanted to be anywhere but here.
This place is giving her so much trauma.
THE FALL.
THE DARE.
THE BREAK.
THE TEARS.
LET ME OUT. [ OOC - PUMPKINPAW ANGST FR ]

PHEASANTPAW [ Snow. ] " So what am I to do... to keep the sky so blue? There must be someone who will buy! " (Who Will Buy? from Oliver!)
Not the best start today. Pheasantpaw fought with Storkleg, and the she-cat accidentally insulted Pheasantpaw by claiming for her to be of FlowerClan heritage.
She didn't know...
She didn't know...
She didn't know...
I don't want her to know...
I don't want her to know...
I don't want her to know...
She'll never know...
She'll never know...
She'll never know...
... No matter. Today she was out patrolling... and... oh StarClan. Snow. Just by the sight of snow, she knew she was getting old. The apprentice now had been reaching the age of a warrior, and she couldn't process the thought of it.
The only thing that made her snap out of it was Lilacshade giving Bumblepaw words of advice. Pheasantpaw calmly sighed as Bumblepaw tried to get out of the shift. Suddenly, she felt a cold chill.
B____S____?
BR___SP___?
BRA__SPO__?
BRAV_SPOT_?
BRAVESPOTS?
BRAVESPOTS?
Pheasantpaw then snapped out of her state before speaking. "Sorry! I just... felt cold air. That's all."
WE KNOW YOU'RE THERE BRAVESPOTS...
WE KNOW WHERE YOU ARE BRAVESPOTS.
[ OOC - Saw the ghost thing and I thought: Hm... Let the prudes look down on us, let the wide world frown on us! It's a fine... FINE LIFE! " (It's A Fine Life from Oliver!)
Storkleg felt like it was the best day of her life.
Out of the medicine den.
But it's been only 30 minutes and she already disrupted a few cats. She quarreled with Pheasantpaw, but only ended up hurting her feelings. She apologized to her, but she knew she'd never forgive her. She accidentally trod on Marshpaw's paws, and she bickered with Amberdapple.
But now, Fawnstar gave her a task: go with Leopardcry on patrol.
Huh. Leopardcry. Storkleg had never properly interacted with Leopardcry, so she supposed it was for good. Once she found Leopardcry, the pair headed out. Storkleg had never gone on patrol. She figured she'd share a bit of her knowledge as they patrolled.
"So, basically you know twoleg contraptions, right?" Storkleg began. "So, they invented this one thing, where if you put something on it, pull it back a bit, and let go, it flies in the air!"
Storkleg was just explaining what a catapult was.
Storkleg was interrupted by sudden yowling. Cats? Storkleg thought as she saw two... INTRUDERS! Storkleg had very little knowledge of fighting, so she attempted to bat them in order to shoo them. Eventually, the cats fled back. Storkleg shook her head.
"Uhh... RUDE?! I was trying to tell this AMAZING KIND OF A CAT about my KNOWLEDGE, and you dare INTERRUPT ME?! The DISRESPECT!" Storkleg comically hissed. "In all seriousness, should we head back?"

Forestfreckle .*❁ ________________________________________________________________________________________________* Wonders if any other cat noticed she didn't have time to groom her fur that morning * Encounters Hoot on a border patrol with Feathersong and Larchpaw Forestfreckle was feeling frazzled. She had been doing so much lately, and balancing so many duties, she was losing the time she needed to take care of herself. Yesterday, she had spent the day with Larchpaw, practicing battle moves. They had practiced from sunhigh until dusk, and afterwards, Forestfreckle had spent half of the night looking for Fallowpaw. She hadn't had any success, but the gray and auburn she-cat just wouldn't give up on her former apprentice.
Now, Forestfreckle needed to get ready for a border patrol with Feathersong and Larchpaw. However, the young she-cat felt all over the place. She hadn't gotten up early enough to sort her thoughts on her favorite rock, and she had barely had time to get a quick meal in. She was full, but she looked a mess with her fur unwashed and unkempt. It was sticking out all over the place, her spotted patterns even more dizzying to look at than usual. Would any cat notice? Forestfreckle was sure they would, and she spent the next few moments fretting about it as she looked for Larchpaw.
When she found her apprentice, she meowed, "Time to go! We have a border patrol to get to!" It came out a little sharper than she had planned, but she didn't correct her tone. There was no time to lose! The pair gathered Feathersong, and headed out to the cornfield.
While padding along the edge of the open field, Forestfreckle caught an unfamiliar scent and held her tail out to the side to stop Larchpaw from continuing on. She looked to Feathersong and meowed, "I smell another cat. It doesn't seem to be from any clan though. The scent is wild, but unfamiliar to me. Can you watch Larchpaw while I check it out?"
Forestfreckle nodded sternly to her apprentice and whispered, "Be prepared for anything. Claws out and at the ready." She wasn't going to lose him too. Then, she crouched low and crawled forward, hiding her auburn belly and showing only her gray back. She blended into the worked, gray dirt of the field. She was invisible and quiet, but her brain did not match her appearance. Her thoughts were loud.
What if this is one of the rogues Amberrise mentioned so many moons ago at the gathering? What if they take Larchpaw?! I can't lose another apprentice... I couldn't bear it. I'd be so humiliated... so guilty...
Forestfreckle gasped as she stumbled into something soft, brown, and warm. Leaping back, she let out a yowl, looking just as surprised as the cat she had ran into. However, she soon let her unkempt fur lie flat as she realized he was no threat. He was laughing, his tone sweet and melodic, yet old. She rolled her eyes in annoyance.
"Who are you, and why are you on Plumclan territory?"
"Well little missy! My name's Hoot, and it looks like I've found just the place I wanted to be! See, I'm a bit of a traveler, a loner if you will, and I hear all of these great stories. Most recently about this Plumclan you're speaking of. And well... I've always just been so intrigued! I wanted to come here and find out more for myself! I want to know how this Plumclan works!"
Forestfreckle sighed, normally she would love to chat with a cat like this, but today, she was annoyed. Cats like this threatened her clanmates, and Larchpaw would not end up like Fallowpaw. Additionally, he was wasting her time. Forestfreckle unsheathed her claws, but looked to Feathersong for help. What were they going to do with this "Hoot?" ________________________________________________________________________________________________ OOC: Forestfreckle is really doing too much and it's starting to get to herrrrrr. polarized (Larchpaw) Fawn (Feathersong)

Fawnstar »
Training apprentices was by far one of Fawnstar’s favorite tasks as a Clan cat. She loved getting to help mold a young mind into a quick-thinking warrior, into a cat that could benefit their Clan with everything they had. She loved being an integral part in a cat’s life and passing on the knowledge she had obtained throughout her many seasons of life, for passing on her knowledge was passing on the knowledge of Willowmouse, passing down the knowledge that her mentor had bestowed upon her, and passing on the knowledge that her mentor had been taught and so forth. Training an apprentice kept the knowledge of cats long forgotten alive, and playing a role in that was one of Fawnstar’s favorite feelings. Being a mentor was one of the greatest joys in life, second only to being a mother in her opinion. And in a way, being a mentor was like being a parent. Having the responsibility of a young cat and being the one to take care of them and help them learn and grow… Mentoring and parenthood was not all that different in her mind.
While she was not Beechpaw’s true mother - that was Feathersong - the leader still felt a connection to the young tom that felt similar to the connections she had with her own kits. She had watched him grow from the time he had been six moons old to now, and now he was a fully grown cat, more than old enough to be a warrior. Which was exactly why they were here now. Due to delays in his training Beechpaw was still just a ‘paw, and Fawnstar wanted to change that. She wanted to make sure that her apprentice became the warrior he deserved to be in just another moon or two.
So she tested him, and tested him comprehensively. Hunting techniques, climbing skills, memorization of the warrior code, battle tactics. Every little thing. It was a lot, Fawnstar recognized that, but she was determined to see her apprentice graduate. And she was sure he was just as determined as she was.

Duststep Herb gathering with Hatchhusk and Pineconepaw | Is thinking about how much she hates fish
Duststep wished, for once, that her apprentice hadn't tagged along on patrol with her. Maybe if we were alone I could tell him how I feel. ...Yeah, right. Maybe when hedgehogs fly. Still, she was glad Hatchhusk had come to her in particular to ask her to gather... what was it again? Dock? Daisy leaves? Well, some sort of herb with him. She hoped she was right in taking it as a sign that he liked her back. And either way, digging up herbs definitely beat the fishing patrols she probably would have had to go on before the stream froze over for the winter. She shuddered just to think about it; dragging those slimy, wriggling masses of scales out of the water with one wet paw was her least favourite chore, not to mention the smell once they had been sitting untouched in the prey pile for long enough.
Barely spotting an unfamiliar leaf sticking out from beneath the snow, she bounded towards it. They were just outside the boundaries of the orchard the Twolegs meticulously preened every newleaf to remove any trace of unwanted weeds, so she doubted this was what they had been looking for, but figured it worthwhile to ask. "Hatchhusk!" she called, purring goodnaturedly, as she batted the snow off the sharply lobed leaf. "Does this seem to you like what we're looking for?"
Tansykit Comes up with a plan to sneak out of camp with Orangekit | Dreams about being a warrior "Orangekit. Orangekiiiit, wake uuuup. I know how we can sneak out of camp." Tansykit shook his brother awake, standing over him in the nursery. It was the middle of the night, and the rest of Plumclan was asleep; but Tansykit, stomping about with quiet steps in the moss, could barely sit still. "Soo, I had a dream about being a warrior, and you were there and you were a warrior too, I think your name was Orangenose or something? Orangewhisker, maybe? ...Sorry. It probably wasn't that. But, anyways, we were warriors and we were about to leave the camp to go on a patrol, but then I remembered I don't know what Plumclan's territory looks like outside the came 'cause I've never been there, and then I woke up. So I was trying to think about how I could go outside and find out, and then I realized it's the middle of the night and everyone is asleep so we can just leave and no one will notice! Then we'll come back before everyone wakes up next morning. Easy, right?" he rambled in a quiet voice so as to not alert anyone else. His dull bronze eyes glittered eagerly as he stared at his brother, waiting for his response.

Lilacshade with Bumblepaw, Cloverfur and Pheasantpaw Snow had come. Big fluffy flakes had clumped into a thick sheet of wet, heavy, and slippery snow blanketing the forest and covering the undergrowth. Lilacshade bristled at the stinging cold, leading Bumblepaw down to the training patch along with Cloverfur and Pheasantpaw. Her apprentice had recovered well from the fight with the fox the moon before, and he was already out and about. He’ll make an absolutely exemplary warrior… especially compared to my last apprentice... The senior warrior thought, smiling as Bumblepaw got to work on his stalking.
But unfortunately, it seemed like Bumblepaw was having a hard training session. Even after quite a few tries, he always managed to slip, breaking his stalking form. Lilacshade began to get a bit frustrated, wondering just where he was going wrong. The molly puffed a sigh into the frigid air as he fell again. She turned, hearing a voice speak into her ear, as clear as day. “Tell Bumblepaw to shift his weight to the centre of the ground, just like how you learned.” Lilacshade remembered the voice from somewhere… but she wasn’t sure exactly where, as if it were from a dream. Still, it’s sound advice. “Bumblepaw. Crouch down a little more, keep your body close to the ground. You’ll fall over less.” She instructed, giving the young tom an example. It was only then when she remembered when she’d heard that voice before. In my dreams, yes, but in my visions of that darkened forest where I trained as well… That must be where I remember learning that…

Hatchhusk with Duststep and Pineconepaw Hatchhusk’s paws were freezing. He’d been digging under the newly crusted layer of snow for what felt like ages in search of dandelions and the precious sap within their stems. He’d brought Duststep and her apprentice to help him dig, so at least they were making progress. Even if none of us are turning up anything. He pushed aside more snow, shivering as he rooted around for the buried stalks of the dandelions.
His ears perked when Duststep spoke up, pointing out a leaf she’d found under the snow. Hatchhusk’s heart soared when he saw its resemblance to the dandelion he was looking for, but upon closer examination, there was none of the sap he was trying to collect. Still, he couldn’t be mad at Duststep. “That’s just bad luck…” He meowed softly to her. “It was what I was looking for, though.” Try as they might, the three didn’t find anything that promising again, and so Hatchhusk plodded back to camp with soaking wet paws, followed by poor Pineconepaw and Duststep. Even so, Hatchhusk didn’t complain. They’d tried their best to help, and that was saying a lot for warriors. Duststep’s easier to get along with, too.
The work wasn’t over, even when he returned to his den. Leaf-bare meant snow, and snow meant water. So Hatchhusk spent the rest of the day sorting out herbs, pushing them deeper into the den to shield them from the ever more damaging elements.

Orangekit blinked blearily up at his brother as he rattled on about something or other. There were so many words the effect was like white noise and he could feel himself falling back asleep already. He was hearing every few words at most. Dream... warrior... leave... camp... middle of the night... we can just leave and no one will notice! His eyes snapped back open. What Tansykit was proposing felt vaguely illegal, but if they weren't gonna get caught anyway... He felt his heart start beating very fast. "You sure we won't get caught?" he mewed nervously, scanning the nursery, but there were no signs of life that a little kitten could see. Reassured, he looked back to Tansykit for guidance. He was a real talker, his brother, but his ability to come up with fun ideas was unmatched. His energy was infectious and Orangekit started stomping quietly too, shifting from paw to paw in excitement. "Where do we go, anyway? You know the way out, right?"Tagging 𝚌𝚕𝚘𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚌𝚕𝚞𝚎

Dogpaw She/her
Dogpaw loves spending time with her mentor. And this patrol she can show off to her mom! They’re marking borders- a boring task of not for Wildclove constant stream of antidote and stories. She was half listening really- cuddled up for warmth against Blizzardwing. Something about barn cats or clan cats. Sometimes Wildclove is just white noise in the background.
She smiles, shaking the snow from her paws as they trudge on. Not to shabby a patrol if she says so herself!.
OOC: SOOO SHORT IM SO SORRY but im slightly sick and saving my energy for wilds later. Anyways my sweet girl

Stargazer - Border Patrol with Hawkheart & Kiteprickle, Appreciates Pumpkinpaw (+), Is proud of Bristlefur (+++)Dogpaw and Larchpaw had been apprenticed last moon, and everything seemed to be doing well. Stargazer couldn’t help but ask their mentors how they were doing almost everyday and checking up on them every evening. She wasn’t sure if it was annoying or not, but they were her kin. All she wanted was to make sure they were okay! It helped that Dogpaw’s mentor was Wildclove, as the two former kittypets had seemed to have formed a sort of friendship in the few moons she had been staying in Plumclan. It had been strange when Pumpkinpaw had been reassigned to Auburncreek during at the end of their ceremony, Fawnstar’s other daughter who had yet to get an apprentice. Even so, Pumpkinpaw seemed to be doing fine. She was still in the medicine den after crushing her leg in a fall but seemed in otherwise good spirits and said hello to Stargazer when their paths crossed. And even still, there had been another ceremony performed this moon. Bristlepaw had been named a warrior a moon early, gaining the name Bristlefur ahead of her littermates. Stargazer was sure that it was hard for the she-cat to become a warrior before her littermates, but she was also proud that she had been able to do so well that she was given the chance to do so. Blinking and looking up, Stargazer got to her paws swiftly, quickly making her way to the camp entrance. She had been assigned to the sunhigh patrol with Hawkheart and Kiteprickle, and she had almost been late! Dipping her head to the other patrol members, they set off. Kiteprickle found the pawprints first, alerting the rest of the patrol. Slightly alarmed, they followed them, finding themselves on the Flowerclan border. The prints didn’t cross over it, just circled back, when Stargazer realized it must had just been a patrol from earlier. There were cats on the Flowerclan border, and Stargazer dipped her head to them and mewed a hello. They smiled and dipped their heads back before both patrols started to mark their borders, going their separate ways once they were done. Hawkheart, ivypool4life

Golddusk- Patrol with Dapplesong and Bristlefur, wonders how Dapplesong is doing Golddusk walked with the patrol through the orchard. Winter had finally arrived, snow falling gently from the sky and coating the ground. Golddusk looked around, trying to see if he can spot any prey. He knew that prey will be much harder to find, now that it is currently winter. The cold will likely keep a lot of prey in their burrow and very few will be willing to venture out into the cold. The more he walked, the more he began to notice how quiet the patrol is. Well, at least more quiet than a hunting patrol usually is. He can see his former apprentice, Bristlefur, up ahead of him. She had been made a warrior a moon early and Golddusk felt proud that his apprentice had finally become a warrior despite how difficult it was to train her. He begin to wonder how Dapplesong was doing. Golddusk hadn’t heard anything from his clanmate since the patrol was halfway through the orchard. Golddusk looked behind him and noticed that Dapplesong was missing from their patrol! Golddusk stopped moving as he looked around, wondering where his clanmate went. He also noticed that Bristlefur had also stopped. “Dapplesong isn’t here on the patrol with us; I’m going to go back the way we came from to make sure that she’s okay” Golddusk explained to Bristlefur. Golddusk turned around and begun to follow the paw prints in the snow, looking for any signs of Dapplesong. Eventually, he found some pawprints heading off of the path. He hesitated for a moment as he looked down at the pawprints. Are those pawprints Dapplesong’s? He wondered to himself, feeling confused. Before he had time to ponder this question further, he heard a bush next to him rustle loudly. Hawkheart

Auburncreek Patrol, Feeling Down & Confronts Wildclove {--} with Thorncrawl & Wildclove Auburncreek had chosen to lead the patrol, Thorncrawl following behind. The forest was quiet. Too quiet. The barn cats, as Auburncreek had heard, had been crossing the thunder path recently. Auburncreek wanted to check for herself, and if needed she would use tooth and claw to show them not to mess with Plumclan’s border. The patrol walked next to the Thunderpath, the sounds of the monsters making Auburncreek hiss. Twolegs! She growled, before hearing the younger warrior mention something. She turned around, to see Thorncrawl standing over a black furred kit in the snow. “A kit!” Auburncreek said surprisingly, walking over. She gently sniffed the tiny thing, before looking back up to Thorncrawl. “The frost has already gotten it.” She sighed, licking the kit’s fur gently. It atleast deserved something better than this.
The patrol had buried the kit, and Auburncreek had made sure that it was unable to reach by a predator. Poor kit didn’t deserve such a thing. What kind of mother would leave their kit on the side of the thunderpath? Nothing they did made any sense to the bengal molly.
She was back in camp, her tail flicking back and forth. She didn’t feel great. Not at all. She had been feeling down since the patrol, the image of the dead kit staying in her mind. It probably didn’t even have a name. She found the sight of a brown and white tom in front of her. Wildclove. She stepped forward, didn’t any cat understand personal space? Auburncreek flexed her claws. “Wildclove! Filthy kittypet! Abandoning Pumpkinpaw after she broke her leg? Now you think she hasn’t been honest?” She scoffed, looking at him. “That apprentice is stuck in that medicine den, and all you can think about is the worst thing that could happen? You could be in there, helping her through her injuries, instead of thinking she won’t get out and getting a new apprentice?” Auburncreek hissed.
[[ girl- you need to calm down ]] Leopardcry Patrol {--} with Storkleg Leopardcry sat at the entrance of the camp, waiting for Storkleg. Leopardcry had been stuck in this camp for too long, the whitecough wearing her patience thin. Over the past couple moons, had she been questioning her own morals and her own opinions. Everyone in the clan mattered, and they had to follow the code together. That was all they had to do. She gave a glimpse nod to Storkleg, before the two cats sent out.
Leopardcry flicked her ear at Storkleg’s conversation. She didn’t want to come off rude, but she wanted to remember how great it was to be in the forest again. It wasn’t long until they were at the border with the barn cats, and they happened to be crossing. “Mousebrains! Aren’t you smart enough to sense our markers?” She hissed, flicking her tail for Storkleg to follow before she leaped into battle. Her first patrol in a long time and it had to be ruined by the barn cats. Of course!
Leopardcry was easily batting them away, her claws unsheathed. She managed to get a nick on one’s ear, but she was keeping an eye on Storkleg. She didn’t have much battle training. The cat Leopardcry was facing had yelled surrender, and they ran off, their tails in between their paws. “Fox-hearts!” She yowled after them, before stomping back across to their side of the border. Leopardcry looked at Storkleg, “Yes, of course. We need to head back and report of this to Fawnstar. The barn cats won’t get off easy.” The molly mewed, before leading them back to camp. It was just warrior code, and Leopardcry had swore to protect it in her oath. [[ I love how my characters are like complete opposites lol ]] Larchpaw Patrol {--} with Forestfreckle & Feathersong Larchpaw hopped after Forestfreckle, the thought of going on a patrol making him excited. He loved going outside with his mentor, and even more with new cats he could talk too! He hadn’t met Feathersong yet, so this was going to be fun. They went out into the cornfield, and Larchpaw looked up at the yellow plants. “Woah!” He mewed excitedly, his tail in the air. He looked up at Forestfreckle, almost tripping over her tail when she motioned him to stop. "Be prepared for anything. Claws out and at the ready." His mentor told him, and he nodded. My first battle? Awesome! Larchpaw fluffed out his fur, and unsheathed his tiny (but sharp) kitten claws. He watched Forestfreckle pad out to the mysterious cat, a brown tom.
Larchpaw managed to squeeze to get past Feathersong, and found himself sitting next to Forestfreckle. He stared up at the loner, his eyes glistening with wonder. “Are you coming to join Plumclan?” He turned his head to the side, his ears hanging to the right. “I’m Larchpaw! I’m going to be a warrior!” He mewed, completely forgetting what Forestfreckle had told him earlier. [[ I love him so much-never let anyone ruin your innocence Larchpaw :’] ]]

Wildclove
Wildclove was pacing the camp- just having gotten back from hunting with Dogpaw- His apprentice was doing great. He loved how ready she was to learn. But he was still worried about his former apprentice however- worried Pumpkinpaw wasn't telling him how she actually feels. He should visit her today-
Suffices to say he nearly jumped out of his fur at Auburncreeks yowl behind him- he hadn't noticed the warrior. Blinking at her sudden accusations he scowled. “How dare you!” he bristles, getting in the orange cat's face “How dare you put words in my mouth!!” “I didn't abandon Pumpkinpaw! It wasn't my choice to take another apprentice!” He hissed at her “Call me names and hate me all you want- But don't drag them into this!!” He was appalled, Wildcove knew that Auburncreek hated him- but for her to say all that- it was a step too far. “Don't you ever talk about Pumpkinpaw like that again- I don't care if Fawnstar has given her to you- She's my apprentice first”
He flicked his tail- sheathing and unsheathing his claws as he turns away “Leave me alone Auburncreek- mind your own tail” the chocolate tom growls and stalks off out of camp- he has to claw at some tree or something to cool down. OOC: MAN AUBURN!! LET THE NAME BREATHE (high emotion moment= screw the accent)

Hawkheart patrol with startgazer and kiteprickle. Argues with stargazer!Hawkheart walked along the border with flowerclan and stared at the passing trees and bush's when they're patrol met a flowerclan border patrol walking along the other side. Hawkheart nodded to them and walked over to the trees to put a scent marker. As they parted ways with the patrol they headed out into the forest again and hawkheart walked up to stargazer to say something to him- " I think were going the wrong way." He said a little annoyed at duskfeather for putting this...former loner as the leader. His ears twitched in an angry flick and he looked at the cat with an air of leadership and hostility. Dapplesong patrol with bristlefur and golddusk!Dapplesong walked slowly along with the rest of the patrol and looked at the trees around her with a small smile on her face. Her moon had been really nice in the past few days and she was rather content with walking along and draging her feet. As bristlefur and golddusk walked faster then her as she stayed behind and sat down to enjoy the beautiful sun flood the dappled trees as the breeze flowed through them. As she sat there she flicked her ears up and heared a sound coming from a near by bush and she instenckly dropped to a hunting crouch and stood as still as possible. she noticed the sound was coming twords her and she then smelled rabbit on the air and her mouth watered in happiness. When the rabbit's sound and smell came close enough she pounced and landed in the bush hitting her mark perfectly. That's how it's done!! She thought with content and remembered the patrol. They're looking for me! She jumped up and quickly walked over to were the patrol had walked in her absence. When she heared the sound of golddusk's voice she rushed out of the bush and saw him looking at her his ears flicked up in astonishment. " Hi." she said sheepishly as she walked twords him. She noticed him looking at the rabbit and added. " I got it when i was alone." Tagging- Dew (stargazer) ivypool4life (Kiteprickle) stonekeeper (Golddusk)

Carnationkit (making up for her)
Carnationkit looked around her clanmates, no matter how much she tried they wouldn't hear her; at first, she thought it was all a cruel joke but shuddered at the feeling of how the hawk talons that had wrapped around her, had pierced her soft underbelly skin. "Help! Help me!" She had cried but before anyone could reach her she had been pulled more than what she thought was the height of a mountain. The stars had welcomed her, but she didn't want them she wanted Kitekit, she wanted the nursery; to be snuggled up in a nest with Kitekit, who now had a warrior name: Kiteprickle! She had watched her sister grow up without her... "I think you should be heading back now." Carnationkit turned seeing a star-pelted cat "No..." She looked at her paws they too were star-filled and almost translucent. She stood walking over to where Kiteprickle stood, giving her a large nuzzle hoping her sister would feel her presence. But to no avail; she turned and stalked back to the Starclan cat "I'm ready now." A small tear slid down her face almost angry for what felt like the betrayal that her sister went on in life without her "They don't remember me do they?!" She looked up blinking back tears.
OOC: I made this to make up for Carnationkits death because I never got to RP as her... RIP tiny child! Mentions: ivypool4life

Cloverfur - Training patrol with Lilacshade, Pheasantpaw, BumblepawThe crisp air bit down on his sides making Cloverfur shiver. Pheasantpaw at least seemed better than him, her longer pelt shielding her from the elements better than his did. They were just going out for a training patrol today along with Lilacshade and Bumblepaw, his son. They hadn’t talked much since they were apprenticed and he was excited to see how he was doing. They were all close to becoming warriors themselves, with Bristlefur getting her name a few days prior. Teaching the training hollow, the two mentor apprentice pairs split off into two pairs, Cloverfur and Pheasantpaw taking the left side of the hollow while Lilacshade and Bumblepaw took the right side. They trained for a bit, Cloverfur trying to incorporate hunting and fighting in the session. He was about to go over her swipes when she stopped, seemingly starring off inti space for a moment, her eyes locking onto Lialcshade and Bumblepae’s side of the training hollow. Bumblepaw kept falling over, but after Lilacshade whispered something in his ear. Whatever it was, it seemed to work. ”All good?”Pheasantpaw nodded, and they went back to training. She wouldn’t tell him what she had seen, but as long as she was focused it didn’t t matter. boragesky, 🎄tansypool🪿, asrise

Fallowpaw
She had been lost, lost for so long she barely remembered what camp looked like. She wondered if her siblings had gotten their names yet. "This seems like the right way?" She asked herself quietly. "Bumblepaws probably got a really cool name, and so does Pumpkinpaw! And Blazepaw and Marshpaw!" She hissed to herself again. She quickened her pace, she HAD to find her way back! If she didn't she'd be stuck as FallowPAW instead of something cool! Maybe she'd just end up as Fallow instead of a clan cat! Her lip quivered angrily; why'd those two-legs have to take her!

PUMPKINSWIPE [ Not You. ] " Won't somebody help me chase the shadows away? " (Gimme Gimme Gimme from Mamma Mia!)
It's... a great day.
Well, kind of.
***
Pumpkinswipe smiled and turned to Pheasantdrift. "I love your name so much!" she cheered, smiling. As Pheasantdrift returned the compliment, Pumpkinswipe couldn't help but smile. Suddenly, she heard the crowd go silent as she turned around and saw Pineconepaw.
Pheasantdrift's sister.
"... Shouldn't she be a warrior by now?" Pumpkinswipe whispered to Pheasantdrift.
Pineconepaw then began. "Uh... Pumpkinswipe... I wanted to say that... I really like you a lot, and I want you to be my mate." Pineconepaw told her. Pumpkinswipe looked at Pheasantdrift.
...
Fear
In her eyes.
...
Does she...
Like me?
"Do you want to pretend we're eventual mates?" Pumpkinswipe quickly whispered to Pheasantdrift. She watched as the fear melted away so quickly, as she affirmed. Pumpkinswipe cleared her throat before speaking.
"I'm in love with Pheasantdrift." Pumpkinswipe firmly stated. She felt her face go red, slowly realizing that the statement, may as well be true. "Sure, you're funny. But you're not my type."
Other cats had verbal replies, replying in 'ooo' or something similar. She saw Pineconepaw's fur bristle in shock before she dipped her head. "Very well. She suits you." Pineconepaw stated before giving a genuine smile to Pheasantdrift and turning out. Pumpkinswipe felt awkwardness surrounding the area, before the meeting was dismissed and was sent out on a patrol.
She recently heard of Leopardcry and Hatchhusk's situation, the two had become mates not that long ago. She cringed at the thought of being with... eugh... Pineconepaw. Her heart belonged to Pheasantdrift. Whether or not she was forced to be mates with someone. But, she couldn't help but appreciate her thoughtfulness. She even saw Storkleg go up and
Her heart.
Will always.
Be with Pheasantdrift.
***
When someone says "patrol"... she did not expect to go with the LEADER and DEPUTY.
Pumpkinswipe's ears pricked up as she stopped the patrol. "I hear a cat... a very young cat... and a... and a... DOG!"
Pumpkinswipe turned to see the small tom-cat running for his life from a dog, screaming at the cats to help. Pumpkinswipe suddenly leapt into the air and tackled down the dog alongside Beechfawn and Fawnstar, before she went to lure away the dog as she caught a glimpse of Duskfeather and the cat.
She watched as the small tom talked with quick speed, before the words "can I join your clan?" flowed into her ears. She looked at Duskfeather and nodded her head quickly, and also kind of bouncing. When he accepted him, she felt a smile cross her face.

Pheasantdrift lifted her chin as her name was called.
As soon as Pumpkinswipe called out to her about her name, Pheasantdrift smiled as she complimented her. "Thank you so much Pumpkinswipe!" she cheered. She turned her head to Pineconepaw as she stepped forward. Her eyes seemed love-stricken, and staring and Pumpkinswipe.
Oh StarClan no...
After Pineconepaw gave her a proposal, Pheasantdrift turned her head to face Pumpkinswipe. The smoky molly then smiled. "Do you want to pretend we're eventual mates?" Pumpkinswipe asked her. She sighed in relief, and smiled, nodding.
She felt her paws tap in anticipation for Pumpkinswipe to reject her, and when she did, she screamed in happiness in her head. She can still have a chance!
...
Or did she just use her to reject her?
...
Nah. She wouldn't do that.
...
Or would she?
...
Nah nah, she trusts me too much to do that.
***
Pheasantdrift walked with Thorncrawl, Lilacshade, and Ripplestripe through the territory. It wasn't long before she heard a jingle. "Oh... I know this cat." she grumbled to the patrol as she led her patrol to the kittypet. She cleared her throat to get the kittypet's attention.
"Uh... SIR? For the last time, this is PlumClan territory." Pheasantdrift hissed. Before long, she was blown up by insults from the kittypet, being called bloodthirsty and should leave the orchard. Pheasantdrift just stared before shaking her head.
"Nuh-uh. We've been here long than you, fox-heart." Pheasantdrift hissed. She looked over to her patrol before getting assistance to escort them off territory. She sassily looked back at the kittypet, putting out a claw and wagging it before sassily walked back to her patrol, with a lot of stride.

She didn't really do much, other than throw in a few words here and there that made sense. She intently listened, nodding as Willowmouse gave her feedback. She occasionally made a few smiles at Auburncreek, smiling.
Once the mediating session ended, she and Auburncreek helped with the elder's nests, and they then went on their patrols.

She couldn't recall much, since the situation was so out of hand, but she met this... weird she-cat. She acted a bit like her, so it was kind of interesting. That dog nipped Feathersong, and it was so battle heavy, and she wasn't sure...

Going on patrol with pheasantpaw and bumblepaw. The three apprentices were going on a hunting patrol. And the first thing Marshpaw could see was a squirrel, so she got down and pounced onto it picking it up. It was perfect for her upcoming assessment. After the patrol the 3 apprentices bring the prey they cough to the fresh kill pile and then separate to do their own things. Marshpaw saw Larchpaw making jokes but failing horribly, ‘that cat has a horrible taste in humour’ was all Marshpaw could think. Tags: 🎄tansypool🪿 boragesky polarized

Blazetumble Warrior Ceremony || with Plumclan Blazepaw was hanging around camp like he usually did, happy that his group of siblings was so big. There were his four other littermates and the three adopted kits, Pheasantpaw, Bristlefur, and Pineconepaw. All together they were all large group of siblings, and even if not all of them were related by blood, it didn't matter. They had all been raised by Leopardcry and Cloverfur. That didn't stop him from hiding behind his whiskers when they hung out, his nerves high. What if he ended up saying something stupid and all his siblings laughed at him and didn't want him to hang out anymore?
Dusk was settling on the cats of Plumclan when a meeting was called. Fawnstar stood on the highrock, gazing down on her clanmates as they gathered below her. Her gaze flicked past Blazepaw and his group of siblings as they made their way over together, sitting in a semi-line. Some of them were gazing at Fawnstar expectantly, like they knew what she might have called the meeting for. What did she call it for? Is Duskfeather going to retire? Or is another one of my siblings going to be made a warrior? The second was the most probable of the two, and Blazepaw couldn't help but wonder who. At thought tugged at in his mind, that it might be him, but he shooed it away. Blazepaw wasn't sure he was ready to be a warrior.
Shoot. It was him, and when his name was called, Blazepaw froze. Why did he have to go first? There were a few things he was dreading about becoming a warrior, and standing in front of the entire clan was one of them.
Blazepaw's inside's squirming, he stood up, making his way to sit below the highrock, having to stretch his neck even more to be able to see Fawnstar. His leader spoke the ceremony words, her eyes locked on his as she spoke. "I-I do." Because all those things were true, weren't they? He thought he was capable of protecting his clan, even if he wasn't completely sure....
His new name was announced, and the ceremony ended. What!? Blazetumble was the only one out of all of them to become a warrior. Not Bumblepaw or Marshpaw, but him. Only him. What is Fawnstar thinking? Even still, Blazetumble knew what he had to do. The echoing of his new name in his ears was starting to make him flinch, because he didn't deserve it. Blazetumble knew he wasn't good enough, not like the other warriors were.
Standing outside the camp entrance all night was close to tortue, the mid-winter cold biting at his paws and making him shiver. Sure, his pelt had gotten a little thicker to help him during the cold season, but it wasn't enough. It also didn't take his mind off his nerves, in fact, the silence fueled them. What if the camp gets attacked and I can't warn them in time? What if Fawnstar figures out I'm not good enough to be a warrior and turns me back into an apprentice my first day out?
It was a relief when Rindlestripe appeared as the sun started to rise and told him that he was done with his vigil. Sighing, Blazetumble made his way to the warriors den for the first time. In truth he started to make his way to the apprentice den before reminding himself that that was not his place anymore. The warmness of the warriors den was comforting, all the still sleeping bodies soothing to Blazetumble's nerves. Finding an empty nest close to Bristlefur, Blazetumble took it, dragging it closer to his adopted sibling and laying down so their pelts touched slightly. When he got up and told him to move, he would, but for this one sleep he needed a familiar smell to calm him down, to take the doubts out of his mind so he could sleep. Closing his eyes on and snuggling into his new nest, Blazetumble slept, the worries of being a warrior drifting in and out of his dreams. Mentions Fawnstar, Rindlestripe || @tags [[ OOC here ]] Blazetumble Border Patrol|| with Duskfeather, Leopardcry Today would be his first patrol as a warrior. Blazetumble wasn't sure if he was to be excited or nervous, and despite Brislefur's encouragement, he didn't feel any better. He had helped him get used being a warrior the first day, talking him about his experiences as they went. He hadn't yelled at him either when he had woken up, even saying that this was a perfect sleeping arrangement, which had made Blazetumble feel good inside. But Bristlefur had gotten an apprentice, and so he wasn't able to spend every moment with him.
At least this patrol was with Leopardcry, his mother. As a kit Blazetumble had spent a lot of time by her side, finding her presence comforting. It still was, and Blazetumble was forever thankful that he got Leopardcry to be with him. Duskfeather was leading the patrol, which made Blazetumble twitch slightly. Did the deputy want to oversee his first patrol, to make sure he could really do it? If he did poorly, surely he would be demoted.
Stepping out of the cover of the old twoleg den Plumclan made their camp, Blazetumble shivered and inched closer to Leopardcry, her long thick fur probably helping her much more than his fur did. The mid-winter air was freezing and Blazetumble was sure he would never get used to it.
They set out, his paws getting numb almost instantly as they made their way to the Burdockclan border. The trek was pretty far and in this weather is wasn't going to be fun. Blazetumble had resigned himself to slouching along, alert but not too energetic when Duskfeather started to talk about clan history and events that happened before he was even born as well as some kit stories that he had heard Willowmouse tell him. The history of the clans was certainly fascinating, and although he didn't say much throughout the stories, he rather enjoyed them. The sound of Duskfeather's calm voice made the patrol go much quicker and kept Blazetumble's mind off of everything he could be doing wrong.
By the time they reached camp again, Blazetumble didn't feel so bad about being a warrior. Yes he still thought he wasn't cut out for it and yes he was still worried, but he had survived his first patrol without messing up! That had to count for something, didn't it? Scanning the camp, it didn't seem like any of his littermates were back from training yet and Bristlefur must still be out with Tansypaw. Maybe it isn't such a good idea to talk about it anyways, I don't want to hurt their feelings just in case it's a sore spot. Hopefully by next moon they will be joining him in the warrios den, his whole family together in the same den once again. [[ Decided to add some Bristle + Blaze sibling dynamics ]]

Jamilah PlumClan Camp & Twoleg's Den | w/ Weedpaw @ -- Herb gathering patrol Cares for Weedpaw last Finds a reminder of Feathersong
Jamilah padded through the snow-covered camp, her paws leaving delicate imprints in the pristine white blanket. The chill in the air made her chest ache slightly, a reminder of her fall into the river moons ago. But today, her spirits were high. The half-moon gathering is just a few days away! She purred to herself, a bounce in her step despite the cold. She couldn't wait to chat with the other medicine cats again, and they'll certainly be impressed by this plan of hers if it pans out.
A flash of gray caught her dark blue eyes as she approached the fresh-kill pile. A downy feather, soft and delicate, lay atop the snow. It was probably from a bird flying overhead or maybe from the fresh-kill pile itself but it looked so pristine and plush. It reminded her of Feathersong's sleek gray pelt. Jamilah gently picked it up with a fond smile, padding over to her den. It would make a comfortable addition to the nest they kept for injured clanmates!
Her happy mood faltered slightly as she spotted Weedpaw limping towards her, his expression tinged with pain. She had meant to check his paw earlier, but time had slipped away from her. "I'm so sorry Weedpaw, let me take a look at that paw now." She mewed apologetically.
The newly named apprentice's eyes narrowed, "It's about time," he muttered, clearly upset at being left as the last thing on her agenda. Luckily it was just a thorn in his paw, an easy fix that left her plenty of time for her little scheme.
The senior medicine cat hummed to herself as she strolled through their territory towards the twoleg's homestead. Normally, there was no reason to approach it for any reason, and if anything, could be dangerous - twolegs were incredibly unpredictable after all. During leaf-bare though, when desperate times called for desperate measures, Jamilah simply couldn't ignore the overwhelming smell of garlic that wafted from the cellar when she passed by the homestead last half-moon and noticed the doors were open. They were rarely ever opened, only when the twolegs needed something from there it seemed. There was a pattern to when they opened the cellar doors though - every 7 days, and today was the seventh day.
She waited patiently until the male twoleg had opened the cellar doors and left them open after exiting. She would only have a few minutes before he returned to drop some twoleg food off and close them. Jamilah dashed inside, the twoleg's variation of garlic much easier to sniff out from how much more potent it was. She grabbed as many stems as she could, and turned tail out of there, beelineing for the camp - wait until the other medicine cats heard about this!

Fawnstar »
with pheasantpaw - boragesky proud of beechfawn & wonders if she is a good leader
Many a time had a cat come up to Fawnstar and spilled their worries and concerns to her. Many a time had a cat pulled the leader to the side and conveyed all the emotions inside of them, freeing the dam and allowing the water to burst forth. It was her duty as the Clan leader to listen and comfort, to offer advice where it was needed, and right now was no different.
Not often did apprentices come to Fawnstar for advice, ‘paws typically preferring to spend a vulnerable moment with their mentor instead. The auburn pelted molly was able to quickly mask the surprise that bubbled inside her when Pheasantpaw approached her, the young feline’s gait crooked with a burden that was dragging her shoulders and straining her posture. The apprentice looked defeated, as if she had squared up against an invisible enemy and lost within seconds. Worry squeezed Fawnstar’s heart. The urge to nuzzle into the ‘paw’s pelt and offer a silent reassurance was strong, but the tortoiseshell leader remained where she was, stationary but visibly listening.
Fawnstar shifted her paws ever so slightly, tail curling. Pheasantpaw’s worries were a lot for a young cat like her, a heavy burden that no cat should have to carry. The leader was silent, processing her own thoughts and worries that lingered on the very edge of her mind. From what Fawnstar had observed the brown-pelted molly was doing well in her apprenticeship and would soon become a warrior. Was Pheasantpaw worried she was doing something wrong because she was still an apprentice? She was old enough to be named a warrior, but Fawnstar had heard nothing from her mentor saying she was ready for her promotion, and the leader had yet to assess Pheasantpaw and her skills. Her mind drifted to the two warriors she had recently named, Blazetumble and Beechfawn. The two toms had shown their worth plenty of times and Fawnstar had congratulated them with their warrior ceremonies. Beechfawn especially had impressed the leader, not only because he had been her apprentice but because he had worked extremely hard these last few moons to catch up on the training he had missed. Had these ceremonies worried Pheasantpaw? Had she expected to be named a warrior alongside the two? Should Fawnstar have given Pheasantpaw more time and offered her the chance to receive her warrior name as well? Was she being a good leader to Pheasantpaw? To her Clan?
She focused back onto the apprentice, allowing herself to finally lean forward and give Pheasantpaw a reassuring nuzzle against the cheek - the gesture of a mother to her kit, a maternal tenderness. ”Is being a warrior what you want?” She asked as she pulled away, blue eyes looking down gently toward the brown molly. A Clan cat did not have to become a warrior if they felt like that wasn’t the role for them. A Clan cat had options other than being a warrior. A medicine cat, a permanent queen, a mediator. More than just one path could be explored. ”Every cat snaps from time to time, even the most level-headed of warriors, and not every cat will like you. It’s a hard lesson to learn, but you can never satisfy every cat around you. You must learn to be yourself and do what makes you happy. So let me ask again - is being a warrior what you truly want?”

Forestfreckle .*❁ ________________________________________________________________________________________________* Lesson on snow hunting with Larchpaw, Dogpaw, and Wildclove * Has the apprentices engaged in a story-filled training session * Lesson is interrupted by a blizzard, and the group hurries home For once, Forestfreckle was... dare she admit it, feeling calm and having fun. It had been a snowy moon, and snowing for several days, but a break in the weather had allowed her and Wildclove to take their apprentices out for a lesson on snow hunting. Forestfreckle was working on teaching Larchpaw how to stay quiet and blend in.
"Ok, take a look around," the tortoiseshell she-cat began, "Look at what's missing on all of the trees! In winter, as you I'm sure you are aware, all of the leaves fall off of the trees. This makes it easy for us to see and hear prey from further away, as there are no leaves to block our sights or sounds, but it also makes it easier for prey to see and hear us. Unfortunately for both of us, we stand out like a soar thumb in the snow, so we need to rely more on keeping quiet than blending in. When it snows like this, snow can be very good for muffling our sounds, as long as you stay low to the ground and move slowly! Watch how I place my paws."
Forestfreckle demonstrated a slow, patient walk, keeping herself low to the ground and placing each paw carefully in the snow.
"If the snow is crunchy, your pawsteps will echo on the plum trees, and alert your quarry. So when we walk, we want to use the tips of our pads to test things out. If the snow softly falls under the weight of your toe tips, you're okay to continue on as usual. If you begin to hear scuffling and crunching, you should place your paws down slower and spread your weight out evenly. If you don't, you'll fall through the crust and make a loud noise and your prey will run away! Go ahead and try testing this patch of snow out here. Tell me what you think of it," Forestfreckle motioned to a particularly crusty patch of snow in front of her and watched as her apprentice practiced.
As time passed, Forestfreckle found herself alone with Wildclove as the apprentices practiced their skills. Being next to him made her think of Auburncreek, and all of the drama that had ensued since Larchpaw had become her apprentice. Perhaps Auburncreek was getting along well with Pumpkinpaw? Forestfreckle hadn't talked to her, but she hoped the two were getting along well.
Forestfreckle looked up suddenly as she heard a loud crunch, and she laughed as she realized Larchpaw had been startled by a squirrel. He had jumped back about 5 tail-lengths. It reminded her of her own encounter with a squirrel as an apprentice, and as Larchpaw recovered, she launched into a story so enthralling that it captured Dogpaw's attention too. In sum, she had once had a squirrel mock her from a tree, barking from 40 feet up. Little did the squirrel know, Forestfreckle was an expert climber, and she had chased the squirrel all the way through the Orchard jumping from branch to branch to catch up to it. For a little dramatic effect, Forestfreckle finished her story with a bit of embellishment. As the squirrel had reached the very last tree it could run to, she had leaped, but miscalculated, and caught the nearest branch by only two claws. As the squirrel sneered, she mustered all of the strength she had and flung herself towards it, snagging it as she sailed passed and landed on a branch below. A clean kill. She promised she would teach both apprentices how to climb after squirrels another day.
As Foresfreckle finished her story, she realized that she had lost track of time and the weather, and they were now surrounded by a full on blizzard. It was time to head back to camp! ________________________________________________________________________________________________ OOC: polarized (Larchpaw) moonKT60633 (Dogpaw/Wildclove)

Golddusk-Patrol with Weedpaw
Golddusk walked with Weedpaw through the orchards. He wanted Weedpaw to become more familiar with the territory outside the camp first before training him on fighting and hunting. Along the way, Golddusk stopped walking when he noticed a familiar acrid scent. His apprentice, who was walking behind him also stopped. Golddusk turned around just in time to notice the disgust grow on his apprentice’s face once he had also picked up the scent of the badger. “This scent here is that of a badger’s. They are dangerous to cats so it’s best to avoid them. It would also be important that you remember this scent since it’s likely we’ll encounter this scent again sometimes in the future.” Golddusk explained to his apprentice. He dislikes how fresh this scent of the badger is. Weedpaw had just recently had his apprentice ceremony and as far as Golddusk is concerned, his apprentice is not yet ready to go near a badger sett. Especially since Golddusk hadn’t had the chance to teach his apprentice how to defend himself yet. He began to carefully lead his apprentice the long way back to camp. On the way back, he remained wary of every snow drift he sees. The last thing he wanted to happen was to accidentally bump into the badger and get into a fight. Eventually, the both of them made it back to camp. Golddusk felt exhausted after the long trip. It took longer then he expected but by the end of the day, he would rather that both he and his apprentice remained safe than to encounter the badger.

Dogpaw She/her
Dogpaw crunched over the snow- attempting to keep her body low like Wildclove told her. But the snow was so cold!! Dogpaw huffs as it glazes her belly. She can feel Wildcloves amusement behind her- but no way she's gonna fail this! Training is very important and Wildclove has much to teach her. She gets caught up in training, half playing with Larchpaw too. She's not a monster. And getting inraptured in Forestfreckles story.
Wildclove
Wildclove chuckles as he watches the ‘paws skitter over the snow- having let Forestfreckle take the lead on the training session today. Standing next to Forestfreckles got him thinking. He does like the duel-colour molly. He admires her climbing and hunting skills- Lucky for him that's what she's talking about. Wildclove finds himself just as sucked into Forestfreckles story- It's only the snow piling around his paws that snaps him out of it. Forestfreckle finished her story as Wildclove stood “Oops” He looked to the darkening sky “Don’t like that one bit- Up and at ‘em paws back to camp” He doesnt want ‘paws so small caught in a blizzard. Wildclove wraps his tail around Dogpaws shoulder as the group heads back- thankfully ahead of the worst of it. Not a bad training session at all.
OOC: still sick so,,, short- Sorry!

Hawkheart talking to storkleg! Patrol with stargazer and beechfawn!" Y...Your welcome!" Storkleg mumbled and hawkheart could tell she was hiding a smile behind her whiskers. What was that about? He thought as storkleg walked away. Does storkleg...Like me?? But that couldn't be right! Hawkheart had never thought of having a mate before since he had always dreamed of being deputy and leader some day. But i guess fawnstar has kits. Maybe one day he could have a family and still help his clan at the same time. Hawkheart was on a patrol with stargazer and beechfawn and as they walked his scent glands were flowing with the scent of fox the closer they got to the river. " I think there's a fox up ahead." He whispered to his patrol mates and creaped forward to a bush besides the river. Hawkheart burst through the leafs and started to growl when all he saw was a baby fox sitting on the side of the river. He flicked his tail for the cats to come out of the bush and askd- " What should we do now?" Tagging- boragesky (Storkleg) sharptail (Beechfawn) Dew (Stargazer)

Hatchhusk Herb Gathering - Guidance with Amberdapple and Rindlestripe Hatchhusk shivered, the thick layers of snow crunching under his paws. He pressed close to Amberdapple and Rindlestripe, sharing their heat as they walked deeper into the forest. It wasn’t a great time to collect herbs, but they still needed elder leaves and willow branches. The worries of the past few moons prickled at him, and he still felt bad about being denied by Leopardcry and his argument with Auburncreek. What would Amberdapple do if that happened to her? She seems so wise…
Gathering his courage, Hatchhusk looked towards Amberdapple. “Amberdapple… Have you ever… worried what others think about you?” He meowed. Deciding this was a bit too cryptic, he looked over his shoulder, then expanded on it. “Lately… I just felt like no one takes me seriously. I think that- Actually, I know that there are cats that think I’m just a big kit, and I feel really useless because of it, and-!” Hatchhusk took a big breath, wondering if Rindlestripe had heard. I said too much, I know it! Now my mentor and my parent will think I’m too sensitive! After all, why am I even thinking of this moons later?
Why can’t I get over it?
OOC - Sorry for being a little short, I'm quite busy right now.

Auburncreek Patrol {--} with Pumpkinpaw Auburncreek led the way out of camp, her new apprentice in tow. She had only just gotten out of the medicine den, something Auburncreek could relate too. It had been moons now, but the bengal molly had been stuck in the medicine den for a couple moons due to heat stroke in her apprenticeship too. Lucky enough she had great siblings who had visited her and comforted her, Havenspots and Forestfreckle. She was lucky to still have Forestfreckle, something that she remembered every day. It was no lie that the molly missed Havenspots, the tom had always kept the family together. Now it was falling apart. Fawnstar only seemed to be making it worse between the small group of bengal furred kin. If only Pumpkinpaw understood what it was like to be in such a hard place with her kin, she was lucky to have two clan-born warriors as her parents and a large group of littermates. Cloverfur and Leopardcry were loyal warriors.
"Auburncreek? Why did Fawnstar reassign who would mentor me? No hate to you at all! Believe me! But... why did she do that? Nothing was wrong! Just... why?"
Auburncreek looked at her apprentice, surprised, she had frozen in her tracks, asking about Fawnstar and her mentorship. The bengal molly hadn’t really taken Pumpkinpaw as an official apprentice, since she was technically Wildclove’s. The question bugged the warrior too. “You’re not really my apprentice, I mean, you are, but Wildclove is busy with his new apprentice. Ask Fawnstar if you want, she doesn’t want to talk to me about it.” Auburncreek replied forcefully, before stomping ahead. Then she remembered something Havenspots had told her once. Her personality only seemed to push other cats away. She sighed to herself, she had to be more open to others. She stared at Pumpkinpaw, before flicking her tail for her to come to her.
Once Pumpkinpaw had sat next to her, Auburncreek started. “It’s not your fault.” She meowed. “You are strong, and the fact you survived the medicine den proves that. Not every warrior is as lucky as you, and your strength will prove you forward to be one worthy of my respect.” The bengal molly spoke calmly. “The circumstances were hard, and Fawnstar thought I would be a better mentor.” She only guessed at the last bit, even if she didn’t believe it, as long as Pumpkinpaw did. “Now come on, no more of this mushy stuff. If you wanna be a warrior after all these boring moons, you better pick up more training.” She stood up, shaking out her fur. “I bet I could beat you to Rushing Creek!” She raised a brow, then ran as fast as her paws could take her, feeling Pumpkinpaw on her tail. [[ character development!!!! :0 ]]
