slowly but surely chipping away at these parts. The DuskClan camp scene is like, three scenes in a trenchcoat tbh. BUT!! Yall get Lore in the form of an elder story so it's worth it.
Also Foggypaw def has main character syndrome. the game loves putting him as the named cat on patrols.

moon 0 patrols 1 & 2 slightly edited for flow, clarity, and a few better descriptions of the Caverns and its seasons. I gotta have the first few parts be a decent hook for when I start cross posting these to tumblr. Still a while out on that plan, tho, as I still want to get at LEAST moon 2 and 3 completed + have cover art for at least five patrols before I start putting 'em over there. Gotta have a backlog of content.
I'm going to be posting all patrols separately, tho, so that will be 8-9 content updates a moon. So having 4 moons (3 + moon 0) should give me like? 36 updates for free? which is most of a year once a week. Should give me enough to like, keep it rolling

In a lot of ways, the Mothpuddle patrol is meant to be a prologue to the Caverns and so I really want to hammer home the unique worldbuilding and showcase my style of writing. I think this edit pass smooths out the vibe and makes the odder parts of the Caverns' seasons stand out with clearer and more descriptive language~

2.6! The longest part (or one of) and one of my favorites, even if I'm not quite happy with how the pacing of Cloudheart's story goes. also we have more art for cover pages. I'm not amazingly happy with the composition anymore and I made some bad choices on the lighting but it's Done and it's Functional so eh  |

I am trying so hard on this Pansypoppy patrol but. Something possessed my brain??? And the writing is WAYYY too flowery for this setting, even for Pansy ;-; There are so many ADJECTIVES (and I love them so much. Lonesome rivers? yes PLEASE) I also am working on yet another cover art for patrols. I won't do EVERY patrol but like. A few. As a treat. Tho all three are from moon 0 so uhhhh I'm gonna have to do a BUNCH more than I anticipated to keep on top of the update schedule Anyways, have a wip marsh  |

oh I also updated the front page with some extra details on the Clans' cultures. I wanted DawnClan and DuskClan to feel more distinct than they did, so in putting the tumblr page together, I gave them something to make them special and fits more with their unique histories and worldbuilding. I'll be slowly retconning a few minor details in the earlier parts to set up and showcase these new traditions.
DuskClan has the Hearth: a fire in their camp that they tend to, ignited by a Firebird. This helps keep out the damp their territory is known for and reduces sickness, though sickness is more common in DuskClan than DawnClan. The Hearth allows them to fire clay into rudimentary containers and also gives them the means to tan hides and make leathers. In this era, these crafts are very basic and unless a cat puts a lot of work into them, they typically don't last very long. They trade some of their better crafts to DawnClan in exchange for herbs, which DuskClan's territory lacks.
DawnClan is known for their Passions. Sunfire, the passion of war, and Starfire, the passion of love, are bestowed upon cats by StarClan in order to give them added strength for just causes. Heartfire, the selfish passion that motivates a cat to act against their fate, also exists, but is taboo.
In general, DawnClan is more spiritual in their traditions and customs while DuskClan is more practical--this mirrors their respective afterlives, where a cat in StarClan becomes light and power, while MoonClan spirits are physical stone and growth. The difference in ideology drives the conflicts between the two Clans.
