“Ahh, sure. Walking too much will hurt my pads anyway.” Autumnfall shrugged, though inwardly she did mourn her past energy and the mess she made of her pelt running around all day. Hopefully, her kits would be rough and rowdy like she was, fun to play with and full of adventure. She watched Meadowtail and called. “Oh! You can probably ask Peachdapple what can treat spider bites. Maybe she can collect some of it if she’s given a good reason to, ya know?”
Meadowtail nodded respectfully towards Autumnfall as she started to step outside of the nursery, she paused when the queen called out. She turned her head back for a moment, "Will do!" She responded, continuing her relatively short trek towards the medicine den. She paused just before the entrance, scanning the area for the round stone that was mentioned. Near a bush, she spotted the flat stone, and walked over to pick it up gently in her jaws.
As she returned in front of the entrance to the medicine den, she did realize that she never actually interacted with Peachdapple outside of the usual treatment for a splinter or scratch. Meadowtail shrugged the thought off, this shouldn't be any different. "Peachdapple?" She called into the den, wincing when it came out heavily muffled, and dropped the stone at her paws promptly before continuing, "Autumnfall and I wanted to know what the best treatment for spider bites was..?" She scanned the medicine den, looking for the she-cat.

Tansypool clung to the branch above her her hind legs dangling in the air. "If you can catch it do it fast before it gets smart!" She meowed down trying to pull herself up to the next branch.

Peachdapple pulled away from her thoughtful gaze at the medicine den wall, her eyes clearing as she gave Meadowtail a kind mew. “It’s the worst time of the year for those pests, so I’m not surprised. That’s actually a good thought. Spider bites can be treated with Stinging Nettle. I have a tiny bit, but I can collect more. Do you need some right at this moment? Was there a bite?” She inquired. |

She looked brightly at it, grateful for such a large piece of prey, before she called up worriedly again. “Don’t climb too high! I don’t want you to fall, Tansypool!” |

Peachdapple pulled away from her thoughtful gaze at the medicine den wall, her eyes clearing as she gave Meadowtail a kind mew. “It’s the worst time of the year for those pests, so I’m not surprised. That’s actually a good thought. Spider bites can be treated with Stinging Nettle. I have a tiny bit, but I can collect more. Do you need some right at this moment? Was there a bite?” She inquired.
"I'm... Not actually sure if there was a bite," Meadowtail spoke, looking down at the ground. "There was spiders in the nursery, maybe Autumnfall wants to be safe?" She shrugged, "I don't know if any of the other queens or kits were bitten. More spiders could appear later on though," Meadowtail said nervously, examining her own paws as she spoke, she didn't see any visible marks so that was probably a good sign.

"There might not be any branches on this tree next moon or two." She looked back up at the tree as she jumped down the last few feet. "And let's hope somecat appreciates this." She nodded to the dove.

“You say that like we’ll be climbing it often.” Dovecloud fretted, before she shook her worry away and purred at the large pigeon at her paws. “But, all that matters is that we got it! You’re right, this one’s bug enough to feed the kits. For such low prey running about, I’d say we’re doing a great job.”

She greeted the medicine cat with a purr, while Peachdapple touched her muzzle to Autumnfall's head, much larger than the already large Queen. She quietly inquired about how the Queen was feeling, before she spoke again to Meadowtail. "Since you're here anyway, would you like to meet the newest kits in the Clan?" She invited the young Warrior, always a fan of getting her Clanmates used to caring for eachother. |

"Ay, there you are!" Autumnfall greeted, before her eyes brightened at the sight of Peachdapple. She greeted the medicine cat with a purr, while Peachdapple touched her muzzle to Autumnfall's head, much larger than the already large Queen. She quietly inquired about how the Queen was feeling, before she spoke again to Meadowtail. "Since you're here anyway, would you like to meet the newest kits in the Clan?" She invited the young Warrior, always a fan of getting her Clanmates used to caring for eachother.
Meadowtail felt content as she watched the two cats interact, deciding to use the time to crouch carefully near the crevice and wedge the flat stone in between the hole, sealing it up from the outside just in time for her to hear Peachdapple's offer. She smiled softly, sitting upright as she turned to face the both of them. "Of course! I'd be happy to see them." She said sincerely.

“Squirreltail is watching Sunthroat’s kits, Serpentkit, Ashkit, Cherrykit, and Duskkit. And Brokenwing and Flamesky’s kits were born very, very recently. Silverkit, Baykit, and Whitekit.” Peachdapple introduced as she padded towards the other side of the nursery.

Dovecloud giggled as the leaf flew into Tansypool’s muzzle. She padded past her, humoring. “Watch out for scary leaves, Tansypool. But you’re right, we can go opposite the wind. That should take us closer to the Thunderpath. Maybe prey are eating some crowfood on it.”

“We’ll just have to be careful then.” Dovecloud nodded, weary of foxes and badgers, but certainly ready to flee if she needed to. She looked around as they padded onwards, before she asked. “So… any cat catch your fancy? I uh… I think I like this tom, but I’m so nervous to try and talk to him. He’s so collected, and I’m just. Well. A shy mess, sometimes.”

“Anytime, dear.” Peachdapple hummed, grateful that she now had an excuse to collect herbs. Stinging Nettle would help with any possible spider bites in camp. |

"Well of course he's intimidating he's a leader!" She chuckled pushing past some leaves "Besides you'll never know until you ask! Lightningstar has nothing to do with your romance. Although he SHOULD eventually know. I mean, yeah Lightningstar IS his father." She meowed as they reached the thunderpath "Ugh! Looks like it's been dead for a while!" She trotted slowly to the rotting crow-food "This could have fed some cat if it hadn't been hit."She said walking back repulsed by the dead creature.
