FrazzleLocation: Twolegplace With: Percy ( Feathertalon ) The dusky grey molly grinned wickedly and circled around the left side of the two toms. The tom followed suit and circled around the right. In no time Frazzle and Percy were surrounded in a triangular fashion. Frazzle looked to the left. Then he looked to the right. Then he looked over at Percy to meet one of his glances. His ears lifted from their previously laid back position and he flashed Percy a grin. (Uh oh. XP) His jaws released the bird leg he held and he lifted his head, smacking his lips a couple of times to rid his mouth of excess grease. “Heyyyyy! Shadowtom. Shadowmolly,” Frazzle met each street cat’s gaze, greeting each with his oh-so-carefully chosen nickname for each. The black tom (aka. Claw) rolled his eyes at being called ‘Shadowtom’. This most certainly wasn’t the first time he’d been called that. “It’s Tooth, an ye know it!” the grey molly snapped, bristling in annoyance at being called ‘Shadowmolly’. Again. Frazzle’s bright gaze finally came to land on the imposing ginger molly, seemingly immune to the overwhelmingly cruel and nasty aura she gave off. “And you know what they say. Wherever the Shadows go, the-“ The intensity of the ginger molly increased, enough to make even Frazzle become a little breathless. The foolish young tom swallowed. “-the deadly flame Europa is not far behind.” The last part came out a tad unsteady, but he felt awfully proud nonetheless. He dared not change her name too much, knowing all too well the receiving end of those claws. One mostly hidden scar on his rump itched at the memory. Their first meeting had been interesting to say the least. “Nobody says that but yerself, ye fly-brain,” Tooth muttered. “You never know. Have you ever asked?”Tooth bristled further, about ready to unleash her claws upon the impertinent tom. “Dun let ‘im get to yer head, Tooth,” Claw warned. Tooth let out a long forceful sigh. “Regardless, the two of ye are outnumbered, outflanked, outmatched. We know the fly-brained one here fights like a newborn kit, and bears the mark o’ a coward. Ye dun have a hope of a chance. So hand the bird to us, an’ ye might get out of this unscathed.” She shifted her gaze to Percy. “On the other paw, ye are a forest cat, right? Our boss has determined ye to be of worth. The nasty scrap here probably dragged ye over without letting’ ye know what ye were gettin’ into, right? ‘E knows very well that we are in charge of this area, and anything he brings beyond the twoleg’s door must be given to us. Don’chya?” She cast a short, but purposeful glare at Frazzle. “What’s even worse, tis nay the first time e’s done this.”Frazzle’s tail swished behind him as he looked at one scornful face after another, giving a small nervous laugh. Even so, he seemed all too excited given his situation. His paws shifted in the dirt, light and ready to leap into action at a moment’s notice. Though fighting was not his specialty, if there was anything he was good at, it was at dodging and making a run for it. Though even that would be difficult given they were surrounded. But it would be an exciting challenge. An adventure! He met Percy's gaze again out of the corner of his eye. The young messy-furred tom's gaze was alive, glittering like a green forested sky with a thousand stars. He held no resentment or fear toward Percy or any of these roguish street cats. Sure, he might be a little nervous, but that was heavily outweighed by his excitement~ as often happened in climactic situations. But overall, come what may, he would run with the resulting wind just as he always has. “If ye join us, we’ll give ye a cut of the share. This fool will only bring ye ta ruin, but with us, ye can thrive.”
(I hope this is okay. ^^') ~~~ (I’ll try and get up Killer and Wonder posts up soon! Zee is so fun! And Boz and Wonder working so hard at speaking to another cat is always interesting. XD No worries on the length. Wonder isn’t leaving him much to go off of. XP)

ivypool4life As Light mentioned, I'd definitely be up for some relations with Caci ^^! Siblings are open for sure, though parents not currently, as I have a more rounded idea for how they are .w. From what I've thought up, she has 2 brothers, so a sister would be perfectly fine with me if you would like to! I cool with that!

KillerLocation: Farm Fenceline With: Zee ( soot ) Killer watched Zee come close and within the shelter of his side. His look could be interpreted as displeased, but he truly didn’t mind. It actually gave him a measure of pride and satisfaction to give the blue-grey kit some reprieve. His head tilted up a tad, and he let out a pleased breath. He returned his gaze forward-bound, listening to Zee’s rambling words in silence. In the few times they’ve met, he’d gathered a rough idea about the young tom’s family. There was the so-called father, assumably the bosscat of their little gang, and three young cats he had taken in. It reminded Killer of his own father’s makeshift family, but on a much smaller scale. However, unlike his father’s, this family seemed to have no particular place they claimed as their own. They seemed almost nomadic in nature, other than the younger ones such as Zee and the one he called Boz~ whom were likely kept here in this ‘farm-family’ for a safer place to call home. Killer peered down at the young Zee, his forehead furrowing. Were they looked down upon for their nomadic nature? A territory was a safe place and brought a sense of belonging. The farm gang seemed welcoming enough from what he had heard, but he had a hard time believing that it was without warrant. Nothing was free in this life. “Kits should nay go out in this cold weather long. Small bodies are weak and prone t’sickness.”(I forgot he is supposed to have a bit of an accent in the last post. XP) — WonderLocation: Barn With: Boz and (OPEN) ( soot ) Of course Boz wouldn’t find it surprising. Was there anything that surprised him? Wonder glanced over at the dark dappled tom as his fur brushed against hers. She didn’t seem to react much to his stumble of words, but rather listened intently to his suggestion. Her ears tilted back in thought. “I wouldn’t want to impose… But surely it couldn’t hurt to go down and say…” A shy little twinkle entered her eye and her stomach did a little summersault. “- ‘ello.” It was spoken slow and controlled, but her pronunciation was on point. She gave a small nervous chirrup, her ears flattening further as she awaited his reaction. It was unusual for her to play around with her words, but something about being with her friend Boz made her bold enough to at least try. She just hoped he didn’t take offence, or think she was making fun of him. Was that offensive of her to say? Oh no. What if it was? Would he be upset with her? Oh dear. She’d hate it if she made her best friend Boz upset.

😅 hey y’all. So our RXOM decided to take his unapproved medical leave anyways (it’s not truly medical it’s to take care of family stuff he said, idk) for two months, during the busiest time of year for us 😅 so I will most likely not be on for awhile cause I will more than likely be exhausted coming home. I’ll try my best to get replies up when I can. So sorry, I feel bad, but I just know it’s going to be horrible until he comes back/we get more help.

Risky - Forest near the river with Ambassador (asrise) Risky eyed the molly warily, unsure of the frozen river. They'd never crossed the ice before, always too worried it would crack, and they'd fall into those frigid waters... They hesitated on the shore, tail-tip flicking back and forth in frustration and indecision. I've been alone so far, they thought. Why should I change that now? And yet, Ambassador was intriguing. She seemed nice enough, and appeared to only want to help. And if she could teach Risky new hunting techniques, well, then there was something to be gained out of it. But that river...
Risky growled to themselves, hating the fear that knotted itself deep in their belly. Only kittypets are afraid. You're no kittypet. "Wait." They approached the river, tortoiseshell pelt rippling with anxiety. Hesitantly, they placed a paw on the ice, wincing at the sheer cold. Worse than snow. The frosty surface scorched their pad, but they found the tender skin there going numb before long. Gingerly, Risky set another paw down. "You'll... you'll teach me to fish when it's like this?" Risky's paw slid, and they gave a small yelp, then growled in annoyance. "Don't suppose you can teach me to cross this treacherous ice first?"

Whiplash & Chipped Rocklocation - southern edge of field open just tag me A pair of cats lay bickering in the sun, one stretched languidly across the weathered wooden fencepost and the other pacing hastily below. The warm scent of a freshly killed rabbit wafted through the air, and upon further inspection an onlooker would spot one laying at the base of the fence. "Rock. For the last time, get up off your lazy butt or I'm going to let you starve," the small brown she-cat hissed as she finally stopped and stamped her dark mocha paw on the ground with immeasurable exasperation. Her amber eyes glared a hole through the resting cat's pelt, but to no avail. "Chipped Rock, I swear to Silverpelt." "Shut up, Whiplash, I'm resting." "Yeah, old man? We'll see how much rest you get when the vultures mistake your skeleton for prey." Whiplash huffed, rolling her eyes lowering herself to the ground. "Suit yourself. I'll eat this whole hare myself, since I'm the one who caught it anyway." She sighed and sank her dark-chocolate jaws into her meal, savoring the juices as she tasted them. This, apparently, was too far. In an instant, Chipped Rock had leapt from his perch and twisted himself mid-air to face his daughter, and landed a single clawed pawstrike on her ear. The she-cat didn't even flinch, as if she had expected this outcome. She sat up proudly and looked down at her father. "I brought you into this world, missy..." he hissed, before sinking his own white-yellow teeth into a leg. "Actually..." Whiplash began with a smirk, wrapping her mocha-tipped tail over her paws. The scraggly old tom met her gaze sharply with a look that said don't you dare... the she-cat laughed dryly and changed the subject. "You may have that limp leg, but you're still a brute. If you don't eat, you'll waste away into nothing more than a mouse." She's just like her mother, thought Chipped Rock. The idea made his pelt burn. He loved that molly more than anything, the only softness he'd allowed into his life, and she had died giving birth to this cruel abomination. Nevermind that Whiplash kept him fed and from falling into isolation, he resented her. But deeper than that, he loved his daughter. They had overcome many a harsh winter, and countless waterlogged greenleaf and leaf-falls. Whiplash, after a few moments, crouched down and began to share the rabbit with him, and they finished their meal in peace. "I know I'm not the only one who's noticing all these smells. Some of them are kind of fresh," Whiplash remarked with a hint of concern. They had been loners their entire lives, and other cats often meant trouble. Whatever it was, these two were not afraid of a fight, and it was clear. The tip of Whiplash's left ear had been torn off, the right side of her face grazed with a thin pink scar. Her short legs and her lithe torso bore their share of stories in scar tissue, and the scraggly tomcat's physique was not much different. His face was clean, a handsome off-white visage with smoky black ears, his mouth enveloped in similar duskiness, and the tips of his paws appeared to be dipped in charcoal. He was a true Siamese, but disease had rendered his right hind leg almost as useless as it was hairless, with a scab appearing on his mottled flesh ever so often. He had a long scar down the side of his ribcage and indentions in almost every leg as though he had been chewed like wood. The battle-hardened pair hated each other on the surface, but the struggle for survival bound them together. "Eh, whatever it is, we can take 'em." Chipped Rock grumbled as he padded a small ways into the lengths of the hayfield, flattening himself a soft bed and closing his eyes. Whiplash sighed and assumed her fathers' former spot on the fencepost, her ears pricked like antennae searching for signs of life, her velvet pink nose quivering into the wind.
s w a r o v s k i location: just outside her humans yard, sitting on old wooden footbridge leading to forest !! open !!
"Ugh!" a small tangle of tan and black fur yanked itself through a small fencehole with an exclamation of exasperation, and stumbled forward onto her face. "God..." she grumbled to herself as she gave her flank a few quick licks. Her fur hadn't been cut recently, her human was slacking and she knew it. She was getting tired of having to always remind her when dinnertime was and to be let outside. Swarovski liked to have things set in stone, she liked to understand her surroundings, and she liked to be in control of her situation. The new male human who had moved into her house was stealing all of her owner's attention and that wasn't enough. Swarovski knew there were animals in the forest, she knew there were squirrels, moles, and berries galore, and she also knew that there were mean, scary cats twice her size out there that could probably eat her for breakfast. What Swarovski didn't know was how to hunt those squirrels or how to defend herself if a rough-and-tumble stray dog or cat were to happen upon her and mistake her for a mouse. But, stubborn as yorkshire terriers often are, Swarovski tossed her head and began trotting across the thin patch of grass, her tiny black nose quivering in the wind at all the mysterious and fascinating smells. She allowed her mouth to open, revealing a full set of strong, tiny, pearly white teeth and canines sharpened by months of Denta-Stix and dried fish skins. Her long, bright pink tongue lolled out and bounced lazily as she skipped, creating an expression easily personified as a smile. The she-dog came to a small, narrow creek a few meters from her picket fence yard, and paused to lap up some crisp, cool running water, pausing for a moment to lick her rubbery black lips before she turned and walked in a half circle to board a rickety, mossy wooden footbridge that must have been at least forty years old. She sat at the top near the edge, her head turning in the direction of the forest, a longing glint in her chocolate brown eyes.

Maple -- The Pines | With Firefly - rεdwιllow The living shadow before him didn't hesitate to question him. Do anything? "What's there to do? Your catch, your snack," the tabby reasoned easily. A mouse was hardly anything to fight over. That, and it was simply too much effort to start something over a catch that wasn't rightfully his. Surely he'd come across another prey item later today. If nothing could be found, he'd entertain the idea of heading to the twoleg place. Though, he hadn't been there since...
He couldn't remember. All he knew was that he was not to return there unless he was desperate. And he wasn't.
He was talking again, the black cat before him. Blinking out of his brief montage of thoughts, Maple tipped his head slightly to the side. "Just came from there 'cause I was bored. Figured I'd see what's new out here." Again his meowed words were as casual as could be, as if it weren't the dead of winter when prey was sometimes impossible to come by. "Actually, I think you're new out here." Stretching his neck forward just so, the ginger cat took a few light sniffs before relaxing and settling on his haunches to sit. "Can't say I remember that scent - name's Maple. I don't usually come out here bu~ut I wanted a change." His words came with a little grin, though without any further thought behind his eyes. His brain could only process the now, and not the possibility that his mannerisms could easily find him in a hostile situation.
For just a second, though, there was a spark of intelligence. "Say... if hunting's no good then why are you out here?" He'd said it himself, after all. There was better luck back in the forest. Plus, the black tom seemed to be a bit bigger than himself, so he'd need something more than a scrawny rodent to keep him going, wouldn't he?

Percy »
Think. He had to think. He needed to do something that would allow him and Frazzle to walk away without a fight - Percy could only imagine the exasperation and worry that would riddle Smoke's face if he returned bloodied from a scrap - but without losing the meal that they had procured. Percy knew he could fight, he was quick on his paws and wily with his actions, but fighting here with these alley cats would be a bad idea. Maybe if it was just Claw and Tooth then Percy could fight them off and have Frazzle run off with the bird, but now that this third cat had appeared, Percy wasn't so sure that fighting would work anymore. Claws had to remain sheathed. This was not something that could be solved through physical force. Percy was going to have to use his natural charm and charisma for this.
He just hoped he could pull it off with these street cats.
Tentatively he placed the part of the bird he was holding down onto the ground near his paws. Warmth from the carcass drifted over his limbs, a reminder that he needed to do this quickly if he wanted to get a somewhat warm meal back to the cats he was hunting for. ”I will not be joining you. I’m a forest cat only in twolegplace for the day, but I appreciate the offer.” Butter them up, make it seem as if he was thankful to the alley cats. Lighten their mood, ease the tensions. ”And as a forest cat I know the importance of marking territory and making sure my scent is designating what is mine. I recall no scents on the twoleg’s den. Even if Frazzle was aware you’ve claimed it as your own, there was no physical indication that it was yours.”
”Why waste time and energy on scent markers when every cat living these streets already knows this is our land? Frazzle’s been made aware of that fact plenty,” Europa growled softly, her paws flexing against the cold hard ground as she stared Frazzle down. Her blue eyes were still cold and stoic, but Percy could have sworn he saw a glint of anger hidden within their depths. The fur along his spine ruffled uneasily ever so slightly. The last thing he wanted was to see the other end of the ginger molly’s claws.
Percy shifted his gaze over toward Frazzle, wondering if the younger tom had anything to say. By the looks of it he felt as if Frazzle didn’t have much to say right now.
He swallowed, hoping he came off more charismatic than he felt right now. More confident than he felt right now. ”If the three of you are truly desperate for food, that twoleg is bound to have more. Are the three of you really so scared of a twoleg that you’ll bully a cat who isn’t to get food?”

(~clears throat~ Alright. Now that I'm over my cold and have a bit more time these days, I’m gonna try to write a better post this time. Time to actually get into Frazzle’s head for this one. XD XP) FrazzleLocation: Twolegplace With: Percy ( Feathertalon ) Frazzle watched as Percy released his hold of the bird leg. The tom cat was bold and brave. A hero, in a world not of his own. Percy had never directly told him that he didn’t come to the twolegplace often, but it had showed in his demeanour on their way here. The hesitance at the common thunderpaths and the look in his eye as he looked around at their surroundings. And the way he had told his story had helped assure that as well. Perhaps he HAD been a LITTLE ambitious coming here again. He knew it was a place he shouldn’t come often. And had the twoleg given him something smaller, they probably would have been able to get away with it. But this..? Frazzle’s gaze dropped down to the large bird. It’d be a struggle to drag it anywhere on one’s own. It was too bad Star Percy’s friends and family hadn’t been here with him. But he wasn’t about to whine about it. What was done was done. He wasn’t a very greedy sort, but even he pondered if there was some sort of way he could get out of this with both the bird and Percy; that thought process didn’t last very long. Thinking was too much of a hassle. His earlier greeting might not have been the smartest thing to do in their given situation, but since when did he ever try and be smart? HA! No. This was good. The stage was set. The street cats laid their conditions. Now the big question was: What would Percy choose? Frazzle wouldn’t blame him if he decided to get what he could peacefully by siding with the others. If that was the case, it’d be all the easier to pull an escape when it was just himself he needed to get out of there. He didn’t think Percy would go as far to purposely hinder his escape in such a situation. Frazzle’s ears perked when Percy began to speak, and couldn’t resist a swift grin at the tom. Of course. He was a big strong forest cat and he had friends and family in that forest. He couldn’t afford to hang about here all day. But then Percy went on and Frazzle’s eyes widened a little in surprise. The glares around them quickly darkened and bodies tensed. Upon hearing Percy telling them how to ‘mark’ their territory Frazzle’s cheeks instantly puffed out with a strangled snorting sound. Even as Europa’s icy glare pinned him down to the wayside, he struggled so hard not to burst out laughing. He caught Percy’s glance, opened his jaws to say something, but broke into another set of wheezing snorts. It almost sounded like he had a hairball. Percy seemed to realize that Frazzle would be unable to speak for a time and continued instead. His last few words rung in dead silence, and the tension in the air made it hard to breath. Even Frazzle had fallen silent, holding his breath with intense struggle. One might think he was choking. Tooth was already quivering with rage. “Europa, I dun’ care much fer this forester! I think ‘e askin’ fer a lesson in the ways o’ the twolegplace,” she hissed, baring her teeth and raking her claws upon the hard stone and ice below them. “The both of them!”Unable to hold his breath any longer, Frazzle burst into loud raucous laughter. “Will ye just be quiet fer once, ye fly-brained idiot!” Tooth snarled with a flying leap at Frazzle. Though his eyes were moist and watery with mirth, he could see a dusky grey blob fly toward him. With a near-wicked grin and a burst of outlandish energy he quickly jumped high, over-arcing Tooth’s lunge and hopping off of her rump for more distance. Tooth lost her balance, stumbling past Percy and into Claw as Frazzle landed deftly onto the street. He looked a bit too proud as he turned to face them all. Not half-bad for a newborn kit, if he did say so himself. “Alright, alright. Now before you all get your tails twisted in a knot, I’ll tell you all here and now. Yes. I come at times to collect a snack from the Good Fellow here. And yes, I will sometimes bring another cat to share in their goodwill. And yes, dear Shadows and Flame, I am aware of our agreement, but you see this is a special case! It all began…” And so Frazzle began to retell his harrowing tale. Claw rolled his eyes, clearly not interested in listening to the tale. “And there ‘e goes again wid another one o’ his excuses. Let’s just chase ‘em off and be done with it.” His lean muscles rippled beneath his pelt as flexed his claws at Percy. “Ah ah ah… I wouldn’t be so sure about that.” Frazzle warned, tilting his head at Claw with wide eyes. “If you’d have listened to the story, you would have discovered that we are on our way to meet some forest cats right now. What was there?” Frazzle’s gaze drifted over to Percy with a questioning look. “Five, seven? A whole clan of them, it was!” He shifted his wide eyed gaze over to include each one of the street cats. “They are on their way here right now, just as we were to them. If they come here and find out you’ve harmed one of their own-“ Frazzle breathed in a short gasp of air and looked away, giving his head a small shake. “I’d hate to think what would befall of you.” He carefully lifted his gaze to meet Europa’s, trying to gauge her reaction. She had always been a tough nut to crack. It was common knowledge in the twolegplace that many of the cats in the forest were like literal monsters. Now Frazzle knew this wasn't always the case, but many cats in the twolegplace, both homebound and streetwise, had been fed such stories from a small age. The roots of the belief ran deeper in some than it did in others. They knew Percy was a forest cat? Why not use that to his advantage?

Yay! <3 I'm glad. No worries. I look forward to seeing it when it is ready! :3 ~~~ Meanwhile.... Here is a little something-something I've been working on in my spare time over the last month or two: Character Expressions! Colours and markings may or not subtly change for artist convenience. Killer:Now Killer's expressions are kinda tricky. He is supposed to look different than what he is really thinking. So here were my attempts. This was my first set of expression drawings. I think I would do it a bit differently if I were to do it again. Like making that grin a bit more creepy looking. He loves kits, but is supposed to have the most terrifying smile. Dear Lord, he is gonna start a war if he dares to smile at Alice's kits. Cotton:May or may not use markings. I originally planned without, but you know... You start looking closer at the base picture, and go "ohhhh", I could add something like that. She's so angry, tired and sad. Thankfully she has some Creamsicle therapy. Frazzle:lol. Just lol. I had a lot of fun drawing these. Why the hair? I honestly don't know. Wonder:My precious cutie. And such a pain in the butt to colour! Artichoke:Say hello to the future deputy of Sylvanclan. One of the sons of Cotton. He honestly kinda scares me. I think I made his ears too long.

Percy »
Heart fluttering like a hummingbird, ears warmer than a summer breeze, and paws as jittery as a jumping spider. This could end badly because of what he had just said. Speaking had been a bold move on his choice, but they needed to get out of this situation. Percy had too many lives at risk here, too many lives that needed this juicy meal. Smoke, Poppy…and now even Frazzle. In all honesty Percy couldn’t care about himself, but his jaws did water everytime he caught a scent of the bird. His stomach growled, rumbling underneath his chest. His tail-tip twitched in irritation - now was not the time to take a deep dive into his own hunger and instinct to feed.
It was Tooth’s reaction that made Percy’s heart drop into his paws.
His claws unsheathed, fur bristling. The last thing he wanted to do was leap into battle, but if this was what it was coming down to, if battle was the only way to get out of this…
Neither Claw nor Europa made a move to join their friend. It was only Tooth who had made to attack, the dark-furred molly missing Frazzle as he expertly side-stepped out of the way.
Relief flooded over Percy, but he knew the animosity wasn’t over with. The tension was still heavy in the air. This very well could still end up with an all out skirmish. Frazzle and he would have to walk very, very carefully here. They were on thin ice before, but Percy could feel the ice breaking underneath his very paws, and he wasn’t ready to drown in the cold water.
But this time around, it was Frazzle who spoke up, using his own sense of charm in hopes of quelling the fire that these twolegplace cats carried within them. He just hoped it worked.
He listened intently, ears focused on Frazzle while his gaze remained glued to Claw and Europa, taking in every small movement, every shift of their paws. If they made an attack then Percy had to be ready. He had to be prepared. It wasn’t just his and Frazzle’s life that was on the line here. But the more he listened to Frazzle, the more confident he felt. It slowly built up, a lopsided smirk that grew upon Percy’s muzzle. And the thing was, Frazzle wasn’t entirely lying. There was some truth to this. Enough truth that Percy could grab on to it and add to this building story. ”He’s not wrong. We planned on meeting up with them, but with you stalling us, well…they might just find us here first. And if they see you holding us back…” Percy shook his head, true laughter slipping off his tongue. Truth be told he was laughing at the idea of Smoke unsheathing his claws and fighting rather than healing, but for all he knew Smoke was a terrible enemy to have. ”They might just show you what a forest cat is all about.” A whole clan of wild cats waiting for Frazzle and Percy to return. A bit of a stretch, but not a lie. A whole Clan was in the works, a whole Clan waiting for Percy and Smoke to recruit more cats. Two whole Clans holding out hope that he, Smoke, and Kuta could revive them after finding enough cats to build them back up.
Two Clans that were waiting for them to recreate them. Two Clans that Percy had at his side, a whole group of cats willing to protect and defend one another.
He only hoped he made it that far. If he could just get past these street cats and bring the bird back to those in his care, then that dream could very well still become a reality.
