Leader: Fernstar (mother of Chaffinchkit, Talonkit, and Grasskit) Apprentice: Hawkpaw Deputy: Lavenderheather Medicine Cats: Marigoldtail (Fernstar's mate) Wisteriabreak Mediator: Olivesplinter Apprentice: Graypaw Warrior: Deeprumble Queens and Kits: Leafknoll Riverkit Cobaltkit Elder: Coldchill StarClan: Sorreltrail; they died due to a horrific tragedy, whatever that means. Dark Forest: Wetpaw; was executed by the Clan leader for their crimes! Grayspeckle. Riverpaw is apprenticed to Deeprumble Cobaltpaw is apprenticed to Lavenderheather; Hawkstripe; Fernstar and Marigoldtail broke up. Chaffinchpaw is apprenticed to Fernstar, Talonpaw to Hawkstripe, and Grasspaw to Deeprumble. Riverash; Cloverdapple joined the Clan. It was at this point I had Chaffinchpaw train in the Dark Forest. And apparently Fernstar is really fond of the -ash suffix, because she gave it to Cobaltpaw too. Ooh, Chaffinchpaw is a warrior now, at only ten moons old! Now named Chaffinchfeather! Grasspaw also earned her name as Grassmask, while Grayspeckle adopted Beekit and Flightkit (their mother originally being Butterfly). Lizardpaw also joined the Clan. But no, Hawkstripe died from a predator attack! Talontooth; Beepaw is apprenticed to Riverash and Flightpaw to Lavenderheather. Cobaltash died of an infected wound. Lizardpaw died of a broken back. Beewave; in more disturbing news, Chaffinchfeather met a kit in the Dark Forest named Stumpkit, returning him to his mother. Checking the backstory, it says Stumpkit was murdered and has sworn revenge on the cat who killed him. Good for you, buddy! And considering it says Wetpaw was a queen's apprentice, I think I know who the murderer was lol! RIP Beewave; a snake got him! Flightleg. And Chaffinchfeather has met another Dark Forest cat, this time an apprentice named Bitepaw; apparently she was injured during a fight and died due to complications. Also, because she's so pretty, this is what Chaffinchfeather looks like:  Lavenderheather, no! You had such a pretty name, too! They were secretly murdered by Deeprumble, and the only reason I'm laughing is because she's now the new deputy! When I checked the camp, she was in the leader's den too, which now makes me worried for Mamá! Her hatred for Grassmask has also been maxed out (which is way more than Lavenderheather), while resentment isn't far behind!
Oh, Grayspeckle confessed to Chaffinchfeather! Also, yeah, Grassmask was murdered... just not by the cat I suspected. In fact, she mourns her! Turns out, I should've been paying attention to Wisteriabreak!
Coldchill was killed by a predator.
Woah, okay! So because I don't do Dark Forest runs often, I actually didn't know this was possible as well, but apparently, not only does Chaffinchfeather have a secret mate in the Dark Forest named Pythonstripe (struck down by StarClan for failing to fulfill a prophecy), but they also have two kits named Stormkit and Pantherkit! The delicious intrigue, I can't!
Oh, nice! My parents finally got back together!
Okay, so I got curious... Grayspeckle has now become a Dark Forest trainee! Also, Stormkit just explained to her brother what dying means; Stormkit, stop being creepy!
Stormpaw and Pantherpaw have been apprenticed to Riverash and Fernstar respectively! Also, Stormpaw stop picking on your brother!
Aww, Cloverdapple died.
Oooh, Stormshade! Love that name!
And Pantherpaw has become Pantherdawn!
Also, I was so invested in this Dark Forest drama that I completely forgot about Blotch joining the Clan, he's now called Blotchblossom! Deeprumble and Olivesplinter have become mates!
We got a CurrentClan apprentice named Mosspaw to join and her mentor is Stormshade!
Deeprumble gives birth to Midnightkit, Cloudkit, Thriftkit, and Slightkit; also Chaffinchfeather met Charredpaw, who was also struck down by StarClan for failing to fulfill a prophecy. The amount of young cats that are down here totally isn't concerning at all!
Mosspaw is now Mossbud, and Chaffinchfeather has adopted two loner kits named Grasskit (rude!) and Wingkit.
Grasspaw is apprenticed to Leafknoll and Wingpaw to Talontooth.
Welp, Fernstar's dead and was of course succeeded by Deeprumble! She ended choosing Stormshade to be her deputy!
Wisteriabreak was killed by a snake.
Pantherdawn become a mentor and mother in the same moon, training Midnightpaw and having adopted Yellowkit and Petalkit; meanwhile, Cloudpaw, Thriftpaw, and Slightpaw are being trained by Marigoldtail, Blotchblossom, and Mossbud respectively. Also, when I went to talk to Yellowkit, she went on to list the things she liked and then said she me the most, and yeah, that got me! So cute! Also, Petalkit is literally me; she wanted to play pretend, but then spent a long time basically world building and then said that "explaining is, like, the funnest part!"
Never mind about Cloudpaw, Marigoldtail just died in his sleep!
Grasspaw became Grasspetal! I also decided to check Chaffinchfeather and Pythonstripe's relationship, and while she has some feelings towards her, Pythonstripe feels nothing at all! Figures.
Aww, Flightleg died! But Wingpaw became Wingtuft, and Chaffinchfeather finally got an apprentice in Petalpaw! Yellowpaw, meanwhile, is training with Leafknoll.
Pantherdawn adopted more kits, Laurelkit and Puddlekit!
Slightpaw is now Slightmimic.
Midnightpaw and Thriftpaw have now become Midnightsoar and Thriftcall.
Yellowpaw and Petalpaw are now Yellowtail and Petalstream!
Laurelpaw is apprenticed to Leafknoll and Puddlepaw to Deepstar; Cloudpaw also found a litter of kits after their mother Sofrito died, named Cypresskit and Duckkit.
Cloudpaw finally earned his full name, becoming Cloudeyes.
Laurelpaw became Laurelnip.
Cypresspaw is apprenticed to Slightmimic and Duckpaw to Thriftcall.
Puddlepaw became Puddlescreech.
Oh, poor Pantherdawn! Wingtuft was killed by a predator!

After moons of patrolling in the Dark Forest, I actually coaxed a StarClan cat to join the dark side! His name is Bramblemask!
Slightmimic and Puddlescreech have become mates.
Deepstar gave birth to Mudkit.
Talontooth died of whitecough.
Leafknoll and Riverash became mates, as have Thriftcall and Grasspetal.
Mudpaw was apprenticed to Cloudeyes; Riverash is expecting; Olivesplinter died of old age.
Wolfkit is born.
RIP Thriftcall, she was killed by a predator.
Leafknoll, Puddlescreech, Pantherdawn, and Yellowpelt all went missing at night!
Stormshade and Duckbone have become mates! And a rogue joined the Clan as Whisperingglade!
Wolfpaw has been apprenticed to Deepstar.
Mudpaw became Mudfur.
Wolfpaw became Wolfroot, but unfortunately, Mudfur was killed by a predator.
Duckbone was killed by a snake.
Deepstar died and Stormstar chooses Riverash to be her deputy!
Chaffinchfeather gives birth to Grayspeckle's kits: Twigkit and Antlerkit!
Riverash died to a snake bite and was succeeded by Mossbud.
Twigpaw is apprenticed to Mossbud and Antlerpaw to Slightmimic; Stormstar and Cypresswood have become mates.
Laurelnip gave birth to three kits: Echokit, Rindlekit, and Ferretkit.
And now Grayspeckle was killed by a snake! With their longtime living mate dead and fellow trainee dead, Chaffinchfeather decided to leave the Dark Forest for good.
Antlerpaw became Antlerstripe!
Echopaw, Rindlepaw, Ferretpaw have been apprenticed to Petalstream, Chaffinchfeather, and Slightmimic respectively; Petalstream and Cloudeyes have also become mates!
Stormstar gave birth to Heronkit and Quickkit!

Echopaw is now Echomoss.
Aww, Heronpaw is apprenticed to Twignewt and Quickpaw to Antlerstripe!

Laurelnip is expecting again and Isabellemark joined the Clan.
Quickpaw became Quicksnout. Oh, and Grasspetal actually confessed to the murder!
Grasspetal was stripped of their position as queen, Heronpaw became Heronnip, and Laurelnip gave birth to: Locustkit, Basskit, Silverkit, and Sorrelkit.
And Silverkit was killed by a snake! My god, why are there so many damn snakes!?
Twignewt and Rindleblink became mates!
Whisperingglade retired; Locustpaw, Basspaw, and Sorrelpaw were apprenticed to Quicksnout, Petalstream, and Twignewt respectively.
Mossbud retired and was replaced by Antlerstripe. Grasspetal was also reinstated as a warrior.
Chaffinchfeather died peacefully in her sleep; Basspaw became Bassfur, and Twignewt announced her pregnancy.
Locustpaw became Locusttree, but went missing with Antlerstripe, who was replaced by Quicksnout as deputy. Meanwhile, Twignewt has given birth to two kits: Fallowkit and Deerkit. |

Wait there's another game called LifeGen? What is that? I only know of ClanGen lol it's a mod of Clangen where you play as a main character. There's a lot more events, skills, menus and stuff. It's pretty neat! After trying it, I don't like it more than the base game but it's still a really cool thing with lots of new features. You can find it on the Clangen discord under the modding section. I think you can also get it through the Clangen main website in their featured mods? It makes a completely new folder system, saves and .exe so don't worry about it overwriting your old files. But you do need to unzip it to the same folder you put Clangen in, or the .exe will get nuked by firewall like the base game's does (or just unzip it elsewhere and protect that folder too, either works) Ooooh that sounds really cool! I'll definitely have to check it out! <3 |

Ngl, I kinda wanna use Chaffinchfeather and her story in an RP now. That's how much I love her! Originally I wasn't gonna map everything out, but I got carried away lol! And in other news, her medicine cat descendant Woodhawk has followed in her and her grandfather Astertail's pawsteps, having been born with a deep Dark Forest bond, but training there only after her kit Rainkit dies of yellowcough, not helped by the fact that StarClan has been silent for a long time. Funnily enough, though her father Acornnut also had an affinity with the Dark Forest, her other father Lilacstripe had a connection to StarClan.
After only a moon training there, she encounters a StarClan cat named Nectarstar and convinces them to change sides, while her mate Gillbadger seems to know something is going on, but still urges her to be careful.
Oof! Okay, so Woodhawk ended up having a second litter and even took another mate, but unfortunately, Gillbadger died the same moon, being killed by a predator. She and her other mate, Flynudge, also adopted a litter of kits not long after.
Finally! The same moon one of the kits, Laurelpaw, dies, Woodhawk is finally visited by StarClan, specifically Antlerstripe. "What is buried will be unearthed by the next generation." But like, dude, talk about poor timing! Also, I just noticed Woodhawk's half-sister Sandydust is training in the Dark Forest as well, as did her stepmother/great aunt Roarstar before she died.
Another StarClan meeting, this time with Primgrove: "Poison in the stomach, undetected and dangerous." Literally the moon after this, I got the Dark Forest drowning prompt, when can potentially lead to poisoning, so thanks for that, Primgrove! Also, one of the adopted kits, Bitefur, is training in the Dark Forest too.
Locusttree: "The silence of the in-between is your only hope." I'm choosing to interpret this as him saying to cut off contact with the Dark Forest. Also, at this point, Woodhawk has led two StarClan cats to follow the Dark Forest, so now I'm just thinking of that one Syndrome quote: See? Now you respect me. Because I'm a threat.
More kitties!
And not one, but two of Woodhawk's kits (one adopted and one biological) have died.
Oh no, Woodhawk's sister Eggcreek died!
Daisydusk: "Lightning strikes not once, but twice."
Another dead kit and another newborn.
And Woodhawk just met an apprentice named Swiftpaw, the only Dark Forest cat to tell her it would be best to leave.
Oh, this is really bittersweet! So Woodhawk got pregnant again and one of her latest kits is called Rainkit! It all comes full circle! This is the final push she needed to quit the Dark Forest.
I was too hopeful. Rainkit is still fine, but Juniperkit died!
Echostar: "Pelts will darken with an unshaken feat. Clanmates will bleed smoke, ash, and tears." Beware of fire. Got it.
So the moon before Rainpaw becomes an apprentice, a cat named Flickerrush confessed to murdering one of Woodhawk's sons to an apprentice named Mousepaw, who told the whole Clan. I timeskip one moon and Mousepaw is murdered as well! By Flickerrush, no less! I love it when the game makes sense, but geez! Even more awkward, I was originally going to pair up Flickerrush with another of Woodhawk's kits, but I guess that ain't gonna happen now!
Nevermind, Flickerrush was forgiven!
Okay, Flickerrush was caught again! This time, it's because one of the apprentices heard them bragging to a loner about killing Mousepaw.
The old deputy Sapcreek died and Flynudge was chosen to replace her. Woodhawk is also expecting again.
Flystar is now leader and chose his own son Splashfoot for deputy. And at some point, Flickerrush was forgiven again!
And now Flickerrush is going to be training Woodhawk's youngest kit! Welp, I'm not concerned at all!
Okay, Shiningpaw survived his apprenticeship. He's called Shiningdazzle now! Also, Flystar now has a second mate in Robinswirl.
At last, Woodhawk passes away, having died peacefully in her sleep. |

NettleClan: Softfur (For the Good of the Clan challenge) FalconClan: Plumflake SpruceClan: Icewood EchoClan: Shimmerfreckle Meanwhile, for ClanGen, there's MorningClan. Some highlights from the first one hundred moons: the second deputy, Echodrop, got the position when he was barely a year old and gained his nine lives not long after, and there's been two murders, one of which was committed by the deputy Nectardawn, so he ended up choosing his sister Nectargrove as Nectardawn's replacement.
Never mind, make that three. But really, if I had a nickel for every time a cat named Softfur committed murder, I'd have to nickels. Which isn't alot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
Four! This time, it was Softfur's kit, Frostfern. Softfur ended up dying the same moon from a predator. |

 My cat already murder like 6 other and he not even bloodthirsty he seems like a good cat with charismatic and to put it more Frankly he is somehow a good mediator. Aren’t they supposed to be peacemaker. He is far from that and his latest kill was his great great great great nephew who was the leader. After look through some of his victims I notice how they were all distinct related to the first leader which was his father. At this point I think he is getting revenge on his clan for exile him for his first victims |

I'm fairly certain you can't play on chromebook, as it runs Android OS, which isn't compatable. I don't even think you'd be able to set up like, a virtual environment via alt boot drive on a chromebook. I wonder if the way the did the setting block also blocks boot menu access. But chromebooks are basically just big phones. So yeah, you probably can't. |

Yeah, black screen when using chrome on chromebook for me too. But I am able to play the web version using the following method: go to Duckduckgo.com , type Clangen into the searchbar and go to the website. Maybe you can try that if you want.
Also, the website should let you play on version 0.8.0 as opposed to the older version other search engines give you
Just another way to play Clangen, if anyone´s interested.

PLS SOMEONE ANSWEEEERRRR!!!! the web version is over four years old and is no longer supported. you should be able to refresh the page. if that doesn't work, you can delete your browser's cookies, but this will delete all the Clans you had. the browser version is very buggy and there is no way to fix most of them |

okay so I rarely get leaders losing lives during moon events right. Anyways, my leader got taken by twolegs, and the first moon the new leader took charge, they immediately fell from a tree and lost a life. Cringe. my healer murdered her best friend??????? also my clan is almost entirely apprentices.  I had a cat have a litter of three, then the next moon one of my toms brought six and a warrior had five more. (three kits unfortunately died; two to snakes and one to kittencough)  WE FOUND A TAILLESS KITTEN. Caterpillarkit you are a worm and we love you so so so much  WORM  A sequence of events certainly happened. Taking a break at moon 50. I have 71 living cats in the Clan  Got a second tailless kitten!  AND A THIRD!!! |

Talking to Dovefur, he talked about seeing Smokeshade tonight, Earthleaf thought it was a date and now I have an idea!

Moon 31: Speaking of apprentices, Burrpaw of StagClan joined and was apprenticed to Burnstream.

Is there any way to turn off murder in Clangen? I have read a lot of people's playthrough and there is a lot of cats murdering each other.

You can edit the relationships whenever cats get over 30 dislike and itll cut down on murders, but sometimes it is just random, esp for bloodthirsty or vengeful cats You can also manually assign a mediator and make sure youre mediating away hate bars, if you dont want to file edit |

Dark Forest: Wetpaw; was executed by the Clan leader for their crimes! Grayspeckle. But no, Hawkstripe died from a predator attack! Talontooth; Beepaw is apprenticed to Riverash and Flightpaw to Lavenderheather. Cobaltash died of an infected wound. Lizardpaw died of a broken back. Beewave; in more disturbing news, Chaffinchfeather met a kit in the Dark Forest named Stumpkit, returning him to his mother. Checking the backstory, it says Stumpkit was murdered and has sworn revenge on the cat who killed him. Good for you, buddy! And considering it says Wetpaw was a queen's apprentice, I think I know who the murderer was lol! RIP Beewave; a snake got him! Flightleg. And Chaffinchfeather has met another Dark Forest cat, this time an apprentice named Bitepaw; apparently she was injured during a fight and died due to complications. Also, because she's so pretty, this is what Chaffinchfeather looks like: Lavenderheather, no! You had such a pretty name, too! They were secretly murdered by Deeprumble, and the only reason I'm laughing is because she's now the new deputy! When I checked the camp, she was in the leader's den too, which now makes me worried for Mamá! Her hatred for Grassmask has also been maxed out (which is way more than Lavenderheather), while resentment isn't far behind!
Oh, Grayspeckle confessed to Chaffinchfeather! Also, yeah, Grassmask was murdered... just not by the cat I suspected. In fact, she mourns her! Turns out, I should've been paying attention to Wisteriabreak!

So because I don't do Dark Forest runs often, I actually didn't know this was possible as well, but apparently, not only does Chaffinchfeather have a secret mate in the Dark Forest named Pythonstripe (struck down by StarClan for failing to fulfill a prophecy), but they also have two kits named Stormkit and Pantherkit! The delicious intrigue, I can't!

Okay, so I got curious... Grayspeckle has now become a Dark Forest trainee! Also, Stormkit just explained to her brother what dying means; Stormkit, stop being creepy!

Also, when I went to talk to Yellowkit, she went on to list the things she liked and then said she me the most, and yeah, that got me! So cute! Also, Petalkit is literally me; she wanted to play pretend, but then spent a long time basically world building and then said that "explaining is, like, the funnest part!"
Never mind about Cloudpaw, Marigoldtail just died in his sleep!
Grasspaw became Grasspetal! I also decided to check Chaffinchfeather and Pythonstripe's relationship, and while she has some feelings towards her, Pythonstripe feels nothing at all! Figures.
