Orange waited a short while after Misty appeared before standing and motioning with his tail for her to join him a little ways away from the center of the clearing, out of an ear shot of the other cats. His expression was unreadable and showed nothing of what he planned to discuss with her.

Orange faced Misty and regarded her for a moment. "You know, when I made you my second in command I thought you could do it." He meowed in an almost apologetic tone. "I thought you would understand how important the role was and take it seriously. We need the others to trust us and each other if we want to take out Fallenclan." His tone hardened, revealing his anger. "And how can they trust us if you attack them without any reason?"

Misty stiffened. how did he know! She felt a little hurt but let it through by growling. "I haven't attacked them, without reason. Who gave you this fake story," She hissed. "And i can take the role seriously. If you're thinking of replacing me, you'll wish you didn't."

"I've been told by many cats about your actions," Orange retorted, keeping his fur flat and voice a calm anger. "Don't threaten me. I'm giving you a chance to mend things with them and prove to me you are able to be a leader. No one will respect you if you attack them, warranted or not. Why do you think we are going after Fallenclan? They attack us for no reason. DO you want to be like those cats?"

Misty curled her lip. As much as she hated to admit, Orange was right. She closed her eyes and tiwtched the tip of her tail, "fine." She meowed. "But you're not letting any other cats boss me around like that." And with that she whipped around and faced the gathering group.

Misty curled her claws against the ground when she met Nettle's gaze. She wanted to rake her claws across the toms muzzle, but remembering what Orange said. She remained quiet.
