Ripplestar watched as a kit stealing patrols head out. He wanted them to gather as many kits as they could. Some would go to the kit stealing den and some would be raised in the clan.

Willowshade sat in a sunny spot in camp watching Snowkit play. She had become fond of the kit since taking her in and felt as though she were actually her own.
Leopardpaw and Lynxpaw sat together talking between themselves.

Willowshade flicked an ear when she heard his question and thought for a moment, "Snowkit and I are settling in fine. She seems to have adapted very well. Leopardpaw is a bit held back and has not spoken that much to anyone yet besides her brother. She seems unsure and nervous. Leopardpaw has always been quieter though. Lynxpaw has been doing just fine, he seems happier here." She explained.

Ripplestar nods his head slowly. " I hope Leopardpaw comes to call Braambleclan home." He had a feeling it would take time before Leopardpaw relaxed and would soon settle down.

Watershadow padded into camp with a plump mouse in her jaws. She padded over to the pile of Fresh-Kill and set it down carefully. She walked into the shade and started to groom herself. She had run into a burr patch to catch the mouse and got some in her pelt. She let out a hiss of annoyance when she couldnt reach the three burrs on her back.

Willowshade looked at Snowkit and purred softly, "I just hope that she'll get along with them. She's been fine so far but she hasn't had to adapt to there being other kits around yet." She looked at him, "I'll take care of any that no longer need nursing." She volunteered. She loved kits and until she really had some of her own she was happy to take care of others.
(You know, I think she might do better as one of those permanent queen types because she could do really well at helping other queens and at raising stolen kits.)
