The last my book was Flowers for Algernon. The book is written in the diary genre. It is easy to read, in one breath. Affects very subtle levels of the human psyche. Things are rising that many of us have thought and are thinking about ... I was surprised in one place by the description of the hero, which looks like he is in a meditative state: the body expands, merges almost with the universe, etc. I liked the book very much, because I am very interested in the psychology of the human soul and this kind of work: the description of the sensations of the most experimented is amazing and unusual.

Finally decided to catch up on Warriors lol... (I haven't read any for like 3 years). I'm on Moth Flight's Vision currently, but I don't remember for sure which book in the main series I left off on, oops...

Finished reading two books. One is self-published and called the Faerie Hounds of York. Very good book, would recommend. The other is The Night Library of Sternendach. It was meh.
I reread Only You Can Save Mankind and once again don't like listening to audio version of Terry Pratchett's works.

I’ve read a book called "Little Women" by Louise May Alcott. The novel is about four sisters, their life, friendship, growing up. In short, for me it’s a one-time book. Of course, today the book will seem very boring for modern young girls. There is not even a storyline here. Description of their boring measured life, their worries, children's desires. Although it would be useful for them to read, because children's selfishness is still relevant today. This book is also suitable for a more adult female audience, there is something to think about child-rearing. The story is not modern at all, and the book is not very exciting, but I do not regret having read it. A recommendation only for lovers of women's classics.

I've been reading the Konosuba light novels for a few months now. Easy to pick up during break at work and it's been consistently good all the way through. Nothing mindblowing storywise but it's just plain fun.

Oooh? What's the plot and/or characters? I'd love to know more details.

Konosuba is one of those comedy-isekai shows where the MC is basically stuck with a group of useless girls that all have their different funny personality traits. There's really not too much overarching plot but rather just going after the demon lord and his generals or whatever. There's some slower paced chapters and some action here and there.

Finished Saga and i'm Not Okay what was that ending. I accidently almost edited your post by mistake instead of quoting. At any rate, what happened? Was it sad or ...?

Finished Saga and i'm Not Okay what was that ending. I accidently almost edited your post by mistake instead of quoting. At any rate, what happened? Was it sad or ...? Two of the main characters who were there from the very beginning died, including my favorite character. One of them (my fave) was...slightly expected but the other rlly came out of nowhere. Like it was sad but also just a huge shock cause I didn't think the author would pull something like that.
It also wasn't the full series ending, it was the midway point finale, the comic is currently on hiatus. It was a huge cliffhanger to leave it on, and I really have no clue where the plot is going to go from here, and I just want the next issue stat lol
Overall it was an interesting comic tho. It took a while for me to get into cause I was put off by both the gore and the amount of explicit sex scenes but I kept going cause people seemed to recommend it so highly. And the base story is very interesting considering how strongly it diverges from standard space opera stories, especially toward the last few volumes it has an uncanny way of shining light on human issues despite how continuously outrageous the settings/alien species are. Would def recommend as long as you're okay with strongly r-rated content.

I have a friend who's been reading it, so very interested in hearing another perspective.
Sadly, while gore I am fine with, I usually have to draw a line at sex. X'D But my oh my! What a cliffhanger! I'd be dying!

I’ve been reading a lot of books recently. Due to time, I had stopped reading a lot over the years, but now I’m back at it. This month I’ve complete Scythe, The Selection, and Red Queen. I am now reading House of Hades despite reading Mark of Athena years ago and barely remember the plot of this entire series. lol I am trying to get through more popular titles, and I might read something more adult next. Red Queen and Scythe were alright, but if I read another YA with an indecisive heroine in which the fate of their world lies in the hands of an annoying love triangle, well, that might kill my drive to read more books.

Yooooo! All those books are really good! I've either read them, started them, or have them on my list! Neat!
The love triangles are suffering. Have you read anything by Terry Pratchett?

Been reading four books at once, so woot!
Jingo by Terry Pratchett is one that I've almost finished. The Christmas Carol is slowly being slogged through. And I'm over halfway through Tunnels of Bone.
Oh, and I'm 'reading' Miracle Creek in German, which means I'm 'reading' it now while I can only pick out every 5th word and thus will not have to properly read a book I would otherwise not purposefully seek out. XD

Oh mood.
Started Mythos by Stephen Fry, also in German. Only I'm reading it, thus it makes mildly more sense.
