Leafblaze|Female|26 moons|Medicine cat|Leafblaze has a unique coat and a skinny frame. Her face has black and orange split down the middle of her face. The rest of her coat is mostly black with large splotches of orange and orange hairs scattered throughout. The black side of her face her eye is green and on the other it is blue.|Leafblaze shelters herself well, only coming out of her shell when the cats around her need her aid. She is rather skittish, often jumping high in the air with fright after hearing the smallest rustle in the trees. Even though Leafblaze is now a cat that would be inclined to hide in the shadows, she used to be a bold she-cat the wouldn't be scared to stand to her word.|Open for forbidden love!| Leafblaze trained to be a warrior, but when the medicine cat of MistClan died unexpectedly she stepped up as the medicine cat with help from StarClan.|To honor Leafblaze's training as a warrior, she was given a name that would reflect her past.|Echo

Swiftpaw, panting, sat at the edge of the thunderpath, praying to Starclan he made the right decision. The orange tom sighed to himself, hoping Firepaw would forgive him for this. Close by, Mothpaw relaxed for a second, and let out a sigh. She had been walking all night to get as far from the territory as possible, and the black and gold apprentice could now breathe easy seeing as she was safe outside the Clan's borders. She was still skittish at being so close to the Clan though, and wanted to keep heading farther away as soon as she caught her breath. She heard some rustling from farther down the thunderpath and instantly went on the defensive, back arched and fur bristling. She relaxed slightly when she smelled a familiar scent, and her eyes widened in surprise. "Swiftpaw?" She called out tentatively, taking a few pawsteps forward and nosing her way through the burnt ferns. She blinked in pleasant surprise when she saw that it was indeed her denmate sitting before her. "Swiftpaw! What are you doing out here?" She mewed, padding over to him and letting the fur on the back of her neck lie flat.

Here's this that I posted on the first page! Oakwind padded around the camp, having to restrain himself from throwing Silverstar a venomous glare. Like many others of MistClan, he had his reasons to despise her. She always gave him the worst tasks, and she always made sure that he got the last piece of prey. Often a stale, scrawny mouse which had been cast aside. He noticed Brindlefern in the shadows of the Warrior den, but he chose to stay on the other side of the camp. After Sliverstar began her rule on MistClan, he has became to frightened to try to interact with anyone within the clan.

After Sliverstar began her rule on MistClan, he has became to frightened to try to interact with anyone within the clan. Mistypaw sat listlessly just inside the apprentice den. On a normal day, she would have been outside, enjoying the last rays of greenleaf sunlight with her sister. But now, her sister was gone, and she had no reason to come out of the den. The blue-gray apprentice noticed movement at the other side of the clearing, and she turned her blue gaze to see Oakwind. She made eye contact with the tom, her gaze begging for him to take her out of camp and into the forest, where she felt safer.

Oakwind let his gaze wander around the camp, but he made sure to keep his vision away from Sliverstar. When his gaze passed the apprentice den, he meet his gaze with Mistypaw. He saw the longing that reflected in her eyes and he gave a brisk nod, turning his paws towards his apprentice. It will be nice to have a stroll in the forest, away from Sliverstar. Maybe I'll teach Mistypaw a few battle moves, we never know when this clan will turn on itself.

(Sorry for the poof!)
Mistypaw let out a soft sigh of relief when she saw that her mentor had understood. She got to her paws and padded over to meet him. "Where shall we go?" She asked upon reaching him. She didn't bother to ask why. That was a question both of them already knew the answer to.

(You caught me at a good time, I just got back on ) Mothpaw looked down at her paws in response to the question. "I...I left." She said. "I overheard them." She explained. "The Dark Forest cats. They were planning to kill me if I stayed. I had no choice. I'm trying to get as far away from the Clan as possible. What about you? What are you doing out here?" She asked curiously, tipping her head to the side.

The comment made Mothpaw painfully aware of her own sister, still at camp. She had tried to contact her, but there was no way she could have made it to camp without being caught and killed. "Don't worry, Mistypaw is still there. She'll take care of her." She reassured him. His last statement confused her. "Don't want to be Swiftpaw? What do you mean?" She asked.

Mothpaw nodded slowly. "I'm still going to be Mothpaw." She replied finally. "Because I think that one day, the Clan will be back to the way it should be, and 'Mothpaw' is the name I want to hear Mistypaw call me again when she finds me!" She said cheerfully. It was an optimistic view, but that was just how Mothpaw was. When Swiftpaw turned away from the border, she got to her paws as well. "Hey, since you're leaving as well, do you want to go with me?" She suggested. "Two heads are better than one, and it'll be comforting to be with someone you know."

"I know the feeling, after a den full of apprentices." Mothpaw agreed. "We should start by heading towards the twolegplace." She suggested. "The farther away from the clan, the better." She shook out her pelt slightly, trying to get the acrid tang of the thunderpath out of her fur, before turning to smile at him. "Shall we go?" She prompted. It was certainly freeing to be away from the camp and Silverstar, where they could be themselves. With MistClan territory only a line in the distance now, they were making good progress, but Mothpaw wouldn't be satisfied until they were farther, much farther away.

Mothpaw shook her head. "Not yet." She replied. "I want to be much farther from the clan before I even think of settling down. Even now, the scent carries on the wind faintly. But I'm sure we'll find somewhere peaceful to stay." She added with a nod. She nodded somberly. "I do too. But we can't do anything as we are. We'll just have to leave it to them." She mused. "Looks like we're coming close to the twolegplace." She noticed. "Once we're through here, we'll be far enough away from the Clan to breathe easily."

Mothpaw scrunched up her nose and resisted the urge to lick her lips of the revolting stench. "You're right." She mewed."At least it'll easily mask our scent?" She tried looking at the bright side of trekking through the rough land. She shook her head at his question. "I bet the twolegs destroyed it all." She mewed, looking around at the huge dens. Thankfully, not many twolegs were around. "Let's keep moving. The sooner we're out of here, the better." She mewed, trying to avoid taking in the scent. At the same time, she resisted the urge to go exploring in the twoleg dens, which would surely cause trouble.

Mothpaw continued to walk until she heard some fluttering and froze. Sure enough, a robin came down to perch on a small rock in front of them. She raised her tail to warn Swiftpaw, and sank into a hunters crouch. She leapt, her paws wrapping around the bird in the familiar scooping motion used to prevent it from taking flight. A swift bite to the neck was all it took. She sent a silent prayer to Starclan for the kill, acutely aware of how hungry she was. "Come and share." She invited Swiftpaw, crouching beside her kill.
