His tail swished against the ground. "Yeah. Well, thanks for that." He said with a small, fake smile. "Need anything?" He decided to steer this conversation away from himself.

Nightwhisper sat at the edge of the river and placed her paws in. Only the front ones, she wasn't very fond of getting her fur too wet, but she liked the water. Something about it fascinated her to no end. She liked the way it moved and the way it felt. She just didn't enjoy being wet afterward.

"No," Nightwhisper said, not taking her eyes off of the water, "I just like water. Not a big fan of swimming." She took her paws out of the water and started to groom them dry. "I'm assuming you have learned to enjoy swimming." She said, guessing the Owlclanners didn't do much in the trees.

"Sure." She said simply. Nightwhisper knew she wouldn't pay too much attention to the story, but she wasn't rude enough to deny the she-cat. It might actually be interesting. She finished grooming her paws and laid down in bank of the river. She perked her ears up, ready to try to pay attention.

Stonespirit cracked a smile at that. "Sorry. Don't think that is happening anytime soon." He said lightly. "You shouldn't be stressed before the kits are here. Even after that, stress isn't good."

Stonespirit's eyes widened. Great Spirts! They were coming now. Of course they would come when Snowfall was out of the camp. Just his luck. "Okay. Calm down." He said, more to himself than the queen. The tom looked around. This wasn't his job or something he even knew about. But that didn't really matter, he decided, what mattered was helping his clanmate. That was something he could do. The leader sighed. "O-Okay," he said, "What can I do?"

The leader nodded and ran to get a stick. He sped past the frantic looks of his clanmates. Where's an apprentice when you need one? He said, thinking about getting Snowfall back. He made his way back with a small stick. It was the first one he found. "Okay got it." He said.

Stonespirit grinned as the last kit came out. He sighed, relieved it was over. "Ferncloud! We did it!" He said excited. His eyes were lit up as if this was something exciting rather than troubling and hurtful. It was just so new to the tom.

The excitement died soon and her relaxed. "Ummm, you should name them. I don't think I'm very qualified." He said, taking a step back. He suddenly felt a bit embarrassed and awkward. This was a family thing, nothing he should be at. He needed to leave. "I'll go alert the clan." He said before leaving.
