Ok hurry!
Hawkstar called Simon from the nursery
Simon perked his ears and padded out "yes hawkstar?" He said nervously
Hawkstar stood as boldly and as intimidating as he could, he spoke in his usual deep voice "are you sure you want to join the clan" He asked looking down at the tom
Simon bowed respectfully "only if you allow me too."
Hawkstar nodded "very well, will you be requesting a warrior name?"
Simon smiled "yes please, I would like to be known as brokenpath" He smiled at Hawkstar "for my path of traveling has stopped here with my mate Heatherstripe "
"Very well simon" Hawkstar then padded over to the tree and jumps onto the high branch "let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here underneath the high branch" He said in almost a roar.

Hawkstar demanded before jumping down to meet the tom "Spirits of StarClan, you know every cat by name. I ask you now to take away the name from the cat you see before you, for it no longer stands for what he is. By my authority as Clan leader, and with the approval of our warrior ancestors, I give this cat a new name. From this moment on he will be known as Brokenpath, for his path of being a loner is no longer walkable." Hawkstar nodded to brokenpath and smiled "welcome to Blazeclan brokenpath"

As Heatherstripe began the chant everyone joined in chanting his new name
Brokenpath purred loudly and imidiantly sprinted back to Heatherstripe, nuzzling her face

Hawkstar soon walked over to the nursery, narrowing his eyes at the kits "how are you doing Heatherstripe " He asked calmly
(So we talked about the kits having a prophecy before right?)

Hawkstar asked brokenpath Brokenpath nodded "yes, I should have my nest built first thing tomorrow" He smiled With that Hawkstar gave a nod then walked away. Once his back was turned he spat in disgust happy? Even though they are born against the warrior code? he thought to himself, slightly angered. |
