[Lol here~~ I actually like Riverstorm x Zinniastar a lot already xD ]
Riverstorm almost flinched when the she-cat rapidly approached him, ready to take steps back. His injured paw wasn't even a factor of worry anymore. If this wasn't really her, why should he stick around? Surely Zinniafeather was waiting for him somewhere.. right? Those thoughts were ceased quickly once she uttered his name. His eyes widened in shock, quickly he lost his stone-faced act he put up. The sound of his name leaving her tongue was melodic to his ears, yet something sounded pained about it. "S-So then.. You are Zinniafeather..?" He had to ask, his tone unsure. He knew he couldn't forget the way she looked, or her voice, but he didn't want this to be just something he conjured up from desperation.
Meadowpaw felt her body relax when she noticed Hawkpaw seemed to calm down. He seemed so jittery earlier, and she didn't want to make him nervous. What she wanted was to be his friend. "Ah hunting?" The she-cat looked at him with an envious expression. "What did you catch? How much?" Soon she was interested. She was never that great at hunting and whenever another cat was able to catch something she always felt envious of their patience and skill. For some reason it never seemed to work out for her.. Maybe Hawkpaw could teach her?

[Hmmm.. I think its OOC for Meadowpaw to chase after Hawkpaw like that ^^ I don't see her as the nervy type to stoop to sabotaging Hazelpaw? If you two want to have Hazelpaw and Hawkpaw end up together, I really don't mind ^^ ] [ The only way I could see this working with your plans for MeadowxHawkxHazel is that Meadowpaw would easily give up Hawkpaw if Hazelpaw wanted to be with him. She's the kinda cat that'll cheer on the cat she likes. And wouldn't really know if they liked her back. SO if Hawkpaw showed interest in Hazelpaw, even if she liked him, she'd be happy for him.  ] |

I hope she doesn't find it embarrassing that I can't really hunt, the light tabby thought in his mind to himself. |

Zinniastar realized how close she had gotten, her expression turned from disbelief to embarrassed and she back up a bit. She cleared her throat and mewed, "Yes but it's Zinniastar now." Zinniastar had so many question but she didn't know where to start, something that looked like sadness washed up on her face but it wasn't sadness; it was happiness that was bubbling inside her and she couldn't hold back the tears that came with it. " I thought... I thought you were dead, I thought everyone was dead."

Wrensong walked out of the warrior's den, still tired from the late night patrol the night before. She hesitated a moment before climbing down to the clearing below camp. Wrensong felt dreary, not quite ready to hunt, her mind seemed to be filled with a fog. She considered waiting for the next border patrol, but decided to head for the fresh kill and choose something to eat.[ @jayfeather23 , 🎃❅❖.Şp໐໐kฯຟiຖ໓.❖❅🎃 : do you mind if I have Pantherpaw join your apprentices? ] Mintfang tossed and turned in his sleep, lately he has had trouble sleeping. Riverstorm swallowed hard once the she-cat backed away. "H-How.. How are you leader now?" He asked in a soft voice, he hadn't a clue of RoseClan's existence. But for Zinniafe-star to be leader now.. surely she found the rest of PetalClan, right?! He was about to excitedly ask how the others were but when her words hit him, they hit him hard. It felt like something shattered deep inside him. He had Zinniastar back.. but everyone was.. gone? "Wait.. so, so that means that I.. I'm.." He felt it hard to breathe for a moment as he looked to the ground in utter shock. He found Zinniastar.. but everyone.. everyone else is gone? Nowhere to be seen again? "Am I the only one you've ever found after the flood?!" The dark ginger tom asked quickly with a hoarse voice, a horrified expression clear on his face as he stared back at the flame pointe. The thought that bothered him the most was that Zinniastar had been alone for so long.. Why couldn't he have found her sooner?
Meadowpaw had a surprised expression, but soon a glimmer of hope came to her blue eyes. "Wait.. So i'm not alone?" She echoed with a soft voice before she started laughing, unable to hold it in. Hawkpaw was like her too?! What a shift. Although his words did sound like an exaggeration. The apprentice took several minutes before she calmed down, feeling her eyes become glassy. "Y-You know.. I think you're probably better than me though!" She managed out with a bright smile. Trying her best to not get set off again. Normally the other apprentices would criticize her skills as a hunter, but here was a cat many told her to keep from, that was exactly like her!

"I tried and failed to catch an early patrol. Did you have trouble sleeping?" I know why, Wrensong thought. Last time I saw, your nest was dreadful, filled with old moss. This wasn't entirely true, Wrensong just thought that moss needed to be changed every few days, which often wasn't the case. She sighed and flicked her tail over paws, realizing that she needed to ease up slightly. She relaxed, and chose something nicer to say. "Your nest is in the front isn't it? Must be hard to sleep when night patrols come in so late."

This got intense very fast, i love it xD ] Once she realized Riverstorm had no idea that everyone from Petalclan had died in the flood, she felt a ping of pity for the tom wash over her heart; she walked closer to him again and nuzzled him in a comforting gesture. "After the flood my mother came to me in a dream and told me to find new members and a new home for Petalclan, but I renamed it Roseclan... In honor of Rosestar's memory." Thoughts of her mother also washed through her thoughts, but they quickly turned back to Riverstorm who she now had back. "Yes besides me, you are the only survivor that I've found....we are the only survivor's of the flood. " She looked at him with a hurt gaze for the lost members of Petalclan, grief and sorrow also filled her mew. |

Mintfang mewed "Yeah the night patrol just camp in, so they sorta woke me up." He lazily laughed, he was starting to feel antsy like he needed to do something. "Would you like to come on a midnight hunting patrol with me?" He smiled even though he was still a little tired, he felt that maybe some hunting might help tire him out again.
