I'll possibly pop in a bit later tonight, but I'm not sure, haha. nanite guys < 33 edit ;; I'll have shadowfall run off and find dapplefur in a bit, so i'll have an excuse to get back on before going to sleep tonight-- } I literally almost had a heart attack when you said you watched the fosters. I love that tv series ] |

Clearpaw huffed and rolled her blue eyes at the tom. Hunting? I've only hunted a few times before. The apprentice thought before shaking her head. The long-furred she-cat got up and shook her pelt. "Well are you coming?"

I mean, I knew fieryfeather and -- x ƜιƖƖσωfƖαмє x -- and was most likely sure @tobster100 would join, because fi and tobster were in the original JayClan, but like everyone else just appeared and was great. but hey, if you have a Clan that you'd like me to check out, I can when I get back? I can probably juggle 3 Clans plus one x one with karma if I handle my time wisely c: -- }}

Nettlewhisker followed her in amusement. "Of course I'm coming." He trotted past her, giving her a side bump in the process as he exited the camp. "But you'd better hurry Clearpaw." Parting his jaws, the ton lifted his head just slightly, scenting the air for any prey. As he did so, he caught the faint scent of Prairie dog, as common as they were, they were as slippery as fish and would take a lot of concentration to catch, well at least for Nettle. |

Squirrelflight groaned audibly for a moment. "We always go to The Field." she complained under her breath, then glanced at Jaystreak and hoped he didn't actually hear her whine. She wanted to seem amture. Shaking out her fur, she mewed with feigned eagerness, "Yay! The field!" Bluefang nodded, making sure Mistcloud was coming before bringing up the rear. Her tail flicked back and forth as she parted her jaws, already scenting to air for prey. The mingling smells of her Clanmates, still newish territory, the leaffall mildew, and prey combined frustrated the she-cat. Bluefang was already a poor hunter, the conditions were not helping her. Shadowfall laughed yet again, then pushed herself to her paws, belly still sore from laughing so much. "C'mon, LeopardClan cat, let's go hunting." she purred teasingly, oblivious to the fact that she might've hurt her companion's feelings with the statement about his paws and the "competition" of who was a better hunter. Clearpaw huffed and followed after him for a little bit till something else caught her attention. "Rabbit," she mumbled to herself then looked at her clan mate. "Let's meet back at the clan entrance!" She called out as she began to trot after the smell of rabbit.

Nettlewhisker had heard her but didn't make notice that he had and continued to stalk the three scavenging critters in his view. Nearing a two foot distance away from them, he lunged. He snapped his jaws around one of them, killing it then attacked the other two, smashing them together. He sat back on his haunches, licking his sore pads. That was stupid He mumbled and picked up the prey on his jaws, continuing on. |

Clearpaw found the rabbit and the long furred she-cat got into her hunting crouch. She lifted her tail slightly so it wouldn't rub against the ground as she began to stalk it. Then finally she leaped out and tackled the rabbit who tried to scratch her. Clearpaw leaped back but had a paw on one of it's legs. "Got you," she whispered as she bent her head and snapped it's neck with her jaws. She smiled for a moment before picking up her prize and moving on to the next prey.

Nettlewhisker approached a small spot, sniffing the air once again for prey. But all he could smell were the trees so he decided to try a new tactic. He tilted his head, listening closely and finally picking up the small pitter patter of prey. He tried to locate it, finally spotting a rabbit which scuttled quietly ahead of him. As he approached, he didn't notice how brittle the leaves were and he had accidentally alerted it. Snarling, he cursed silently to himself and took after the rabbit. Finally, snatching it up with a hook of his claws. He sat, regaining his breath with the bloodied rabbit under his paw. |

Clearpaw ended up near the creek. "Huh" she mumbled through the rabbit's fur and sat near it. "Perch!" She quietly meowed in delight. She watched the fish swim around. She swiped a gray paw into the water and caught one. After a little while she ended up with three more. The small apprentice lapped some of the water and then looked at her prey. "This is all I can carry.." she meowed tentatively and picked them up. The young she-cat started to pad back to the camp entrance.

Sitting up after he had regained his breath, the tom proceeded to pick up the four pieces of prey that he had caught and trotted back towards camp, the stub of his long gone tail wagging back and forth. As he neared the entrance, he slowed down to a walk, making his appearance up behind the apprentice. |

Maplefur
Sleeping lazily in a shaded corner of camp, the light brown and dark brown splotched feline's chest rose and fell peacefully. As she slept, a bee had taken interest in annoying her, constantly flying by her ears and tail. Finally having enough of it, Maplefur sighed sleepily and slapped it with a paw, regretting it soon after. She cursed, pulling her paw back in a whimper. "It stung me..." She hissed. |

"Three perch and a rabbit," Clearpaw purred back. She smiled, a heart warming smile. The apprentice ran her tail along Nettlewhisker's shoulders before getting up. "We should take this into camp, and you did well as well" she meowed quietly. The medicine cat apprentice got up and collected her catches once more before padding into camp.
