Sootpaw and Cinderpaw broke off from their fighting, both looking rather ruffled from the play fight. The two scampered to the meeting place, looking excited.

Frozenwhisker rose his head, the white tom had been eating some fresh kill when the announcement came. He quickly finished the mouse he was eating, licking his chops as he settled in the back, curious as to what the meeting was about.

"What D'you think it is?" Cinderpaw whispered to her brother, who was grooming himself to look presentable. He shrugged, before mewing, "clean your fur," he responded. She blinked, before cleaning out her dark mess she called for.

Cinderpaw leaned over her brother, trying to catch Linxpaws attention. She wanted to know if the tom knew what was going on.

Wolfstar glanced down on her clan before speaking. "I have called you all here to discuss the number of rogues increasing near our border." Wolfstar paused, letting every cat sink this in before continuing.

"This does not mean immediate danger but, we must still be cautious and on alert. I would like an increase from two border patrols to four, each day. Apperentices cannot go alone out of camp without a warrior. Medicine cats will be escorted with a warrior when needing to find herbs. This is necessary to prevent bad situations from happening. I wish to caution every cat to be more alert outside of camp." Wolfstar said, bafore leaping off the Speak Rock.

The two apprentices exchanged a wide eyed glance, the two looking like mirrors. Excitement flared in Cinderpaws eyes, and as she opened her mouth her brother mewed a flat out "No". She rolled her eyes, before hissing into his ear, "C'mon! If we go out, we can be made warriors! I'll bet Linxpaw would be up for it to," She added, and Sootpaw bristled his fur angrily before huffing.

Frozen whisker frowned, the white and grey tom listening carefully to orders.

Cinderpaw gave a brisk nod, before padding up to Linxpaw, the grey she cat trying to look normal. "Hey. We're going to go and sneak out tonight. Maybe we could run these rogues away from our borders," She whispered conspiratorially.

Frozen whisker nodded, "Sure," He mewed, before noticing the sad look on Deerflights face. "She looks pretty upset, huh?" He commented.

"Umm," Cinderpaw glanced at Linxpaw, trying to think fast. She wanted to go with her friends out to the forest, not go out and collect herbs. It sounded rather boring to the impatient apprentices. "Don't you have to have a warrior with you?" She asked Tawnysky.
