Bearpaw - Camp  "You are welcome." Bearpaw glanced ever so quickly at Rosedapple before averting his eyes to male in front of him. "My mom hasn't taken the time to groom me since I left the nursery, you're lucky" Rueful, almost. Everyone knew Waspwing wasn't maternal, not really. Unless her sons were to be presented before all the clans, she wouldn't likely touch them except to cuff them over the ears for their carelessness. "The gathering is tonight, though, are you excited?" The question was tapered with a youthful eagerness, it was his first gathering. He had not been allowed to go prior. "My apprenticeship is going pretty good. I went on a hunt with Brambleheart and Beepurr a while ago! It would have gone better if I didn't scare a bird and fall out of a tree but you know" Bearpaw shrugged, grinning self-depreciatingly, "What can you do. How's your apprenticeship going? Nearly done right? You excited?" Older apprentices rarely spoke to younger ones, so the dark brown tom would soak up all the knowledge he could get from Sagepaw. The sweet natured apprentice who seemed to be so awkward it was painful. He'll be a warrior soon, so he'll grow out of it, I guess.

You've helped me a lot; I'm grateful for it." Brambleheart added. It was genuine, but he also wanted to know what she wanted to tell him. |

SunsongBrambleheart's excitement was contagious. It felt as if someone had lifted a boulder off her shoulders. It felt so much better to no longer keep this to herself. Sunsong couldn't help but give a soft purr of happiness and amusement at her mate's reaction. He was going to make a wonderful father. She just knew it. "I'm glad you think so." she agreed, allowing herself to soak in one moment of peace and joy in what had felt so chaotic recently.

"I hope for at least two, a son and a daughter." Brambleheart mentioned. He looked at her and grew concerned. A wave of stress washing over him as he remembered all of his duties and tasks. Birchstar would certainly be harder to hide from the Clans when he took off time to visit with his kin. He also feared the dangers they'd be in when they were apprenticed. He stared at her, all joy had faded. "When are you due?" he asked, trying to keep a false facade of bliss. [Thanks to Redheart, I had the idea of Hazelfern confessing to Softpaw about her pregnancy and how he'll need to train harder so he can complete early. I certainly don't mind someone overhearing this.] |

[No don't worry about it. I've just been trying to drop one of my classes and between meeting with my counselor and make-up homework I've just been swamped. Things are getting back to normal with my schedule, so hopefully I be getting on more frequently]

Sunsong "Starclan knows we need it." Sunsong agreed quietly, just enjoying the happiness and excitement whirling around in the air. She purred arable as Brambleheart began to gush. She certainly hoped for at least two, that way they would never be lonely, though personally she didn't care whether they were toms or she-cats, they would be hers no matter what. Soon though, her mate's face began to fall. He tried to hide it but she could see it in his bright eyes. "I'm not sure exactly, it's only been a moon, or at least that's what Hazelfern told me." she explained slowly, trying to understand what might be the matter. "What troubles you? Are you angry with me?" Sunsong asked, it was in her nature to assume the fault was her own. |

I can't tell you all of it, but I can tell you something worse happened that day." he told her. No one in ThunderClan really knew about Guststar and their leader, deputy, and medicine cat's paw in his death. As far as they knew, it was a mystery and Birchstar had fallen into thorn bushes. Brambleheart was trying to save him and was attacked by a foggy-minded Birchstar. He wanted to tell her, but he feared if she'd remain with him after learning what really happened. He honestly had no choice, as Birchstar was truly terrifying, but he felt he could do something to make it up. Perhaps when Hazelfern has her kits, they would need to reveal that part and send them to SkyClan. Then again, the idea of turning over kits to a Clan that had half a claim ruffled his pelt. Now that Guststar was gone, their claim would be weaker. |

Brushpaw sat in a nook of camp, perfectly content with the silence that surrounded her. As thoughts floated lazily around her brain, the she-cat felt a breeze gently ruffle her fur and she let out a soft huff as a bird screeched overhead. Her blue eyes scanned the camp watching cats talk and leave for patrols. Maybe, I should go join them, she thought internally. Sure, I would have to actually talk to someone, but I could use the practice.
The apprentice was about to rise to her paws, when she thought better of it. You wouldn't even be able to think around all those chatterboxes. Sighing she flopped back down upon the dirty floor, creating a small explosion of dust. Brushpaw sat in silence for a few more moments, her thoughts drifted to thoughts of her training. The she-cat didn't need anyone to tell her that if she ever wanted to be a warrior she'd need to step up her game. Just another impossible thing I need to do.

a n n o u n c e m e n t I will not be on much from tomorrow until maybe Monday. We're going to put my dog down. We've had her for as long as I can remember and it's really hard for me. I can't really focus on posts and I need to talk to friends to kinda not think about it. I want to spend time with her and show her as much love as I can before she's gone. I hope you understand. Until I'm gone, Dou will be in charge. I will also appoint two mods soon. |
