Oh-ho-ho-ho. (Yup, that`s exactly what I just thought. Honest. Oh-ho-ho-ho.) So many people have been discussing and endorsing this kind of thing, I figure it`s time to make this official. Time for a motivational speech. Simple sentences. To get my point across. Let`s begin.
The Battle Plan
As I can no longer sign up to the forums (I sent a polite but furious email to HC instead), I kind of wish I did.
So just do one thing for me, O true fandomily, where I should have been all along.
On that last day?
Say your goodbyes. Post in semi-RP parades. Promise unbreaking friendship until HarperCollins do you part. Make sure your best threads are archiged safely here.
But. But then. When there is nothing left to lose, and a civilisation is collapsing around you. Step it up. Start bending the rules as the deadline gets closer.
Write tear-jerking fanfiction about the users` OCs trying to escape a fire that envelops the whole forum. They are so emotional, darnit!
Then, start to casually kill off all of your characters except one. Don`t worry, their entire universe is gonna be wiped out...so you`ll have to restart them anyway. It`s getting more and more tense as the hours tick by.
Like in Catching Fire, hint at the truth as the spark grows. Start writing thank you notes to HarperCollins, dripping with sugary sweetness and sarcasm. Start exchanging coded message which point to email addresses or here. Use the email address to get the people here, anyone who notices.
Then, the final push. The final hour or so. Get comfy. Cancel your appointments. Drop everything. Choose one of the below, or both if you want to be really challenged, type fast and furious, and see if you make it to the end. Or will you be banned? It doesn`t even matter anymore.
1) Godmod, metagame, powerplay, mary-sue, gary-stu. Have your favourite cat, no matter their personality, go on a killing spree in every other Clan. Be everywhere at once, you din`t have much time one way or the other. Explain OOC why you are doing this, and the few people who still care about the sinking ship will probably join you. Again. Set up tabs to many threads with 2 hours to go, and start your serial killing at 1 1/2. Still don`t gore though - some rules should not be bent, for the sake of the kids. Try to stay unbanned to the end.
Or.
2) Are you not a fast enough typer to achieve the above? Or would you like to really hit things home? Then this, is simply, spam. At half an hour to go, paste this into every single thread you can find.
StarClan always wanted there to be forum Clans in the forest!
www . wcrp forums . com with no spaces. Type with me if you want to live!
And I mean every topic. If you last the half-hour, I salute you.
Or.
Both. All the way.
Or even something else! Shed light upon it here. Or don`t, simply PM me in case enemies are watching.*
*Just to be clear, I don`t mean the mods this forum. You guys are great, and I`m pretty sure you can see my PMs anyway, haha. I hope you endorse the war effort, guys!
This countdown is in GMT. If you have a better one plese PM me.

A genius note from Moonwing!
MOONWING'S ALTERNATIVE BATTLE PLAN
For those of you who are less enthusiastic about being banned (even though it won't matter in the end, I know there's a sense of accomplishment if you last though the end without getting banned), OR for those, who like me, still have some clans and info to salvage from the original forums, and it would make it harder to do so if you got banned-
An alternative, more subtle battle plan.
Here are the main details: hyperlink everything, then change it to a GRAY, near white color.
The logic behind this: The moderators are only deleting links because that is their job, and that is what they are paid to do, and not because they hate us, or are trying to spite us or anything. So, they will only skim posts, and not look closely if a word or a sentence is particularly darker colored, because it is only slightly different.
They'll be looking for anything that looks like: JOIN THE NEW FORUMS AT www. [wcrpforums] . c o m, or wcrpforums (d o t) com, or Join the NEW FORUMS*, and those will get taken down quickly, because it's obvious it's a link. *I made the "Join the NEW FORUMS" text yellow because yellow is the default color that hyperlinks turn into when you hyperlink something on the original forums. *
However, if you hyperlink something and turn it from yellow to gray, it's a lot likelier that the mods won't notice it and it'll stay up for some time.
The key is to make your post as casual as possible. You could link a sentence in a rp. You could comment on a piece of art and say, "Wow, this art [hyperlinked] is great! I hope I can [hyperlinked] see more of it!"
KEY TIPS
1. Make your post casual. Since the mods know to look out for "new forums", try to avoid saying "Join the new forums". However, they seem to ignore "Have you joined the new forums?", so you can hyperlink that.
2. Hyperlink multiple words separately in a sentence. For instance (underlined = hyperlinked)
Hello, my name is Moonwing. If the mods find out that this is hyperlinked, they will take the link out, and that will result in the whole sentence being unlinked.
However, if you put hello, my name is Moonwing, and link each one separately, maybe they'll only notice that the word "Moonwing" was hyperlinked. They'll take out the hyperlink to Moonwing, but the words "Hello, my name is" will still be linked to the forums.
3. Pretend to link to other places- hide them in plain sight.
Example: "Wow, this poem is wonderful! We're doing a poetry collaboration in the light of the forums closing, and you can find it here and enter your piece if you'd like!"
The mods might think that you're linking to a "Poetry Collaboration", but in reality you are linking to the WCRF.
**Though the first and second method has been tested, the third has not. I do not know if it's reliable or not.**
You're welcome. Have a great time on the WCF for the last few days, and may Starclan prevent you from being banned.
**Cloud, if you could put this one and Clover's post into the main post as well, I'm sure more people would see it ^^**
