Honeytail laughed as she fell, "Hey!" she jumped back up to her paws. She shook her pelt and tried to throw snow back at him. Sunpelt purred. He was tired of being the serious deputy all the time. It was time to finally relax and have fun. "Oh yeah?" He growled playfully and shoved more snow at her. |

Mintleaf waved her tail in greeting as the apprentice came over. Blackpaw looked at her. "Hey." He called. "What are you guys doing?" Shadowpaw asked tilting her head to the side a bit out of curiosity. Swishing her tail through the snow that surrounded her she shivered slightly at the cold. |

Mintleaf looked at her brother.
"We were playing in the snow until Blackpaw got cold." Blackpaw shook his head.
"I'm not cold. I just don't feel like playing anymore." He said pointedly.

Honeytail laughed and tried to run away, "You're not going to get me!" she called out as she bounded into the forest, kicking up snow behind her with her back paws.

"Okay whatever you say Blackpaw." Shadowpaw said with a grin flicking up some snow with her tail. Looking up at the sky she sees clouds and sighs.

Floodfoot walked out of the medicine den and looked around at his clanmates in the camp. He sighed in frustration at all the cats recklessly playing in the snow, thinking about his meager herb storage. He sat for now, observing the rest of his clan, watching for any signs of illness.

Hollowstar padded over to Floodfoot, "Hello Floodfoot, how are you adjusting to our new camp." he asked, his voice was gruff and serious as usual.

Floodfoot dipped his head in greeting. "Adjusting as well as I can." he said. "However, what with the snow, finding herbs and growing them is going to be a bit difficult."

Sunpelt purred loudly as he followed. The weight of his large body slowed him down but he tried his hardest to keep up until he tapped her flank with his paw. "Looks like I got you." He laughed. |

"I didnt mean to flick it at you this time." Shadowpaw said with a small laugh. "But your reaction was funny." she said to Blackpaw looking at him again. Shivering she crouched down so her body was tighter together to make alittle heat.

Hollowstar nodded, "I'll send out a patrol later and have some cats search the territory again for more herbs. We'll need them for when leaf-bare really hits us." He was concerned but he wasn't about to show it. "It'll be a test for the rest of clan, those who are strong will make it, the others... well at least when we start moving they won't slow us down." |

"Yeah just a little cold is all. Nothing that I can't get use to." Shadowpaw said with a slight smile. Swishing her tail out behind her, she accidently kicks up some snow and it lands on her making her shake out her pelt.

Hollowstar shook his head, "No you should stay here, the others will fine since they'll only be exploring. If something happened to you we'd all be in danger." Hollowstar didn't need more warriors getting sick or injured, the clan needed strong and healthy warriors.

(all warriors train the apprentices, no real mentors. Any warrior can train any apprentice.  So if Mintleaf wants to go with them then that would be fine ) |

Featherpaw padded to the elder's den with moss dipped in mouse bile in her jaws. She wrinkled her nose at the scent as she made her way over to Mouseclaw. "I'm here to kill your fleas." She mewed with a sigh.

Honeytail smile and then paused, her greenish yellow eyes staring back into Sunpelt's blue ones. Her ears become hot and she panicked, she scooped up a tiny paw-full of snow and dropped it on Sunpelt's muzzle.
