Dappledfrost finally got herself up fully, the queen nudged her kits out of the nursery. More so Sagekit, her brother was ready and willing to go outside and be free. The queen was glad she only had two of them, if she had more then Sootkit and Sagekit she wouldn't be able to keep track. She pushed Sagekit out gently "Come on you have to go outside of the nursery once in a while. You can least go but Sunfall or something." The dappled cat mewed.

Hearing her mother says she could bug Sunfall brightened the little kit up. She bounce up and raced off, she knew exactly where she was headed. The medicine cat den. She left her brother in the dust. It didn't take long to get to the den for the kit, she often visited and tried to get into the herbs. That was the only time she got in trouble really. "Sunfall?" She called quietly, secretly hoping she could get into the herbs and look at them and figure out which ones were which. Sagekit knew cobwebs, poppy seeds and marigold so far, but that was about it.

Sootkit watched as his sister raced off and looked a bit let down, she wa his only sibling and she didn't really stick around to play with him. Not that she ever had, she was weird. The kit bounced off to find someone to play with. Before he got to close to the camp entrance he heard his mothers voice loud enough to startle him.

"Don't go getting into trouble Sootkit. You are a not even a moon away from being an apprentice you better be good or your sister will go on without you." Dapplefrost called. "Don't cause trouble. Stay where I can see you."

"But Sagekit doesn't have to do that!!" He complained.

"Because she doesn't try to leave camp or destroy an already dead mouse for fun Sootkit." The mother said laying down on the ground as Sootkit grumbled and started playing with the snow that had made it inside the camp. He began forming a sort of ball, it was more of a square than anything else.

Sagekit nodded quickly "Yeah, the only reason I left the nursery is because she said I could talk to you." She said looking up at him, "Can we look at the herbs." She mewed. "I wanna see if I remember which ones are poppy seeds and marigold." The small silver kit looked very happy to be in here, unlike when she was stuck in the nursery with her loud obnoxious brother.

The kit wiggled with excitement, as she waited for him to return. She watched as he struggled a bit to get into the storage area and she couldn't help but giggle a little. As soon as the herbs were in front of her she placed her paw in front of the poppy seeds, those were easy to pick out. "Those are poppy seeds." Sagepaw mewed happily, now it was down to three. But she was having a bit of trouble picking the marigold out from the horsetail. The she-kit narrowed her eyes and sniffed the two of them. For a moment she looked up at Sunfall a bit unsure. "I think...this one is marigold." She said placing her paw in front of the correct one. But it was very clear she wasn't all the way positive that her choice was correct.

The she-kit looked pleased and releived that she had gotten both correct. She purred happily and listened as he explained what the other two were. Juniper berries and horsetail. Got it. Her head tilted to the side. "No I don't...what does it do?" Sagekit asked curiously.

"Marigold stops infections," Sunfall explained, "And horsetail treats infected wounds. They kind of do the samethings, but if you use marigold on a fresh wound you won't need horsetail. Horsetail is also good for rat bites or fox bites, which usually get infected."

||Mudpaw || tom-cat || 13 moons || Medicine Cat Apprentice || Mudpaw is an average sized tom-cat with a powerful set of legs. He's got short, thick fur that's mottled tan and brown with darker ticking around his face. He's got white on the front of his muzzle and a little on his throat too. His eyes are an orangish gold color. From the day he was born, Mudpaw has been very confused about himself and what he should do with his life. Obviously he was made a warrior's apprentice as a default, but he wasn't happy about it. He wasn't very vocal until he finally got sick of saying nothing. Now he's more confident with himself, though he still has some figuring out to do. Mudpaw was nearly finished with his warrior training when he decided that he'd rather be a medicine cat than a warrior. On the day he was meant to get his warrior name, he announced that he'd like to be Sunfall's apprentice instead and the change was made. || Warrior mentor was Eelskip || n/a ||scorchtail||

Jadepetal was awoken from her sweet dream by a terrible spasm in her belly. She let out a shriek. It hurt so much. She writhed on the ground, paws flailing. "Sun fall! I think I'm kitting!" She croaked out.
