Adderstar purred good morning as he sat himself down next to Leafheart and Foxtail. "Yes well," he started in response to Foxtail's question. "Those two starlings jumped out at me as we were walking up the trail toward the creek. If that sort of activity is an indication, just about any place you go will be full of prey. With any luck of course." He bent his head to begin grooming down the fur on his chest. A starling feather sprang loose from his pelt and floated to the ground as he licked."I would advise checking out the Meadow. The birds are quite active this morning and that is always the best place to check," he added. He flicked his ears in the guerrier's direction then gave a nonchalant shrug.
The large tom glanced up as he heard footsteps approaching. Bramblepaw, a proxy novice, was joining the group in the sunshine. "How was the dawn patrol?" the young tom was asking. Adderstar refrained from answering, for he knew the question was truly meant for his daughter. It was no secret among the older cats that Bramblepaw had a bit of a crush on Scarletpaw. Of course the young she-cat was oblivious to it herself. Although he was protective of his daughter, he found the interactions between the novices amusing. He held his tongue, indicating to Scarletpaw that she should answer.
"It was as good as dawn patrol can be I suppose," said the she-cat evenly. She sat down and folded her dainty tail over her paws, looking over the other novice with unaware directness. "The day is so nice, though, that I hardly feel tired at all. I hope Wolfsong and Hazelcloud are up soon so we can get to training." She flexed her claws in the loose dirt of the camp floor and then rolled back her narrow shoulders in determination. That day she was determined to perfect the move her mentor had taught her the day before.
Adderstar finished his grooming and stood. "Perhaps I should organize I patrol to head up the northern border. Half can stop on the way up to catch prey and the others may loop back down to check the territory. Would any of you like to volunteer? Or shall I wait for more to join us in the land of the living?"

"Id love for some hard training i feel like i have too much energy today. Plus training beats having to clean bedding all day." Bramble paw said stretching out his body, "So Scarletpaw wanna share some prey before we do any training. Breezefeather caught a rabbit that strayed from the moors, and we might want to get to it before Tigerheart gets to it." He purred in amusement.
"Dont temp me Bramblepaw," Tigerheart said from behind the Apprentice, chuckling as Bramblepaw jumped a little looking up at the large warrior. He had practically called him fat saying he'd eat the rabbit but her didn't take it to heart, "Remember Bramblepaw you are going with me tonight for a patrol at sundown." The tom purred in amusement, then he turned to his leader. "Adderstar." He greeted his leader. "I'll go with, I could use the exercise apparently." He joked looking at the sheepish Bramblepaw.
"You do Tigerheart, your fur can't hide that belly of yours." Breeze feather purred in amusement, "Adderstar I'd like to join."

Sorry for in activity my assistant manager totally left us to deal with the holiday weekend so I've been working over time.... Im so pissed at her its ridiculous. I'll be on monday and then I'm working morning shifts later this week. Im free tp rp for a few hours now but that will go by quick.)
