Wildmist ignored Quakefur's remark, feeling dejected, and tasted rabbit. She quickly slinked over towards a bush. Hopefully it's big enough for me to get a grip on it, she pleaded, and jumped in. A few heartbeats later, she came out with the rabbit in her mouth. "Finally," she huffed, shaking stubborn leaves off of her silver pelt.

None of us has a position as a med cat but I do have a rouge )
Quakefur's whiskers twitched in slight amusement, seeing a leaf still stuck to her head. "That was a good catch. You still have a leaf on your head though."he mentioned it to her as he tasted the air again. He scented not a vole but a mouse instead. He glanced at Wildmist before placing his vole down and slinking off towards the source.

Wildmist watched Quakefur take off and continued to attempt to get the leaf off of her head. Eventually she just decided to roll on the bed of the forest to get it off after prior attempts were not successful.

Yo)
Stalking forward, Quakefur dropped down into his hunter's crouch as he drew closer to his mouse. Keeping his paws light and quiet had taken most of his apprenticeship to get it right but it was well worth it in the end as he pounced, landing ontop of the mouse. Ending the hunt with a swift bite to the neck, the speckled tom let out a breif purr of satisfaction before heading back towards the silvery she-cat waiting for him in the clearing.

Nightshade nodded in agreement,"It really is." He glanced around the camp, not spotting anything obvious that needed to be done,"Is there anything you think that needs to be done around here?" He was really didn't want to hunt, which was the obvious choice, but he couldn't just sit around and be a lazy tail. ( Sorry for the late reply! ) Stonefoot shrugged, his gaze flitting around camp for a moment. "It appears to be nothing... Don't you want a bit of relaxation?" He asked with a roll of his eyes, settling down and parting his jaws in a yawn as he bathed in the sun. "I sure do...... Not much time for it anymore anyways for an old tom like me." |

Skyfall let out a happy purr, basking in the warm sunlight. She was on her back, streaching out with a content smile. She was soaking up the warmth while she still can, she had to do nightwatch later that evening.

Two she-cats, both as tired as each other, made their way through what seemed to be miles and miles of fields. The older, fluffier she-cat sighed, placing a paw on the slightly smaller, brown tabby's head, who looked up at her with pleading eyes.
"Icetail, we're not going to find anything here." She insisted in a quiet voice. "Please, let's just go back."
The white she-cat shook her head in response, though the twitch in her tail betrayed her annoyance. "Little one, trust me. There will be trees soon. Prey. Things we can eat. I promise."

Quakefur bit back a chuckle, leaving his prey where they were as he padded forward. Without thinking, the black and white speckled tom nipped at the leaf, freeing it from her head. "There. Now you're leaf free" he said, taking a step back.
Fallstart padded out of the camp, Fallpaw a few paces behind her. She had noticed that the young tom was sulking once again so she had decided that he would go with her on a boarder patrol. The cold tom agreed after a moment and left with the leader. "There hasn't been a patrol out to the southern boarders today Fallpaw?" The silver leader asked, glancing back at the grouchy apprentice as she led the way. "Not that I know of. I think Brightpaw patrolled the northern with Rippleleaf and the others." He replied after a moment, glancing back towards camp.

Quakefur shrugged at her question and glanced down at their catches. "I would be okay heading back. It'll be up to you though" he said, glancing back up at her. They caught enough prey for four cats so that was a good deal for him.
