Seedtail felt very awkward, but tried not to show it. He was quite unclear of what was going on but kept up the conversation merrily nonetheless. "Oh, I was just, err.... Thinking. Of normal things.." He replied to Daraliheart with a curt nod, looking to Ryenstar. He was especially nervous around her because she was the leader, but tried not to show it. The thought flickered in his mind of trying to end the conversation somehow, for something in the air just made him feel out of place here. Seedtail, you must look good in front of esteemed cats! This is for you to try and become deputy, rodent-brain. The little voice in his head whispered. "All right then..." He murmured slightly before whipping his head back up. "Sorry, I must have said something I didn't mean to."

[ Hello! Sorry, I haven't posted yet ^^;
My internet is really slow, it's painful and it is has horrible lag. My dad got a new internet provider and since he isn't tech-savory, he didn't know what he was signing up for; therefore, my internet works like a phone plan and we used all gbs up. Hopefully, it renews soon -sighs- I will probably type starters on microsoft word and transfer them over here. ]

@brambleisback @animefreak Ryenstar had an expression similar to the two toms next to her. And of course that was one of pure confusion, still not completely understand what was going. But she pushed through, but not before letting out a small complaint to StarClan for the sake of her clan. When Seedtail started frantically apologizing she took it easily with a small smile in hopes of calming his nerves. “It’s fine.” She meowed softened as she tilted her head to the side. She should start a real conversation, but she didn’t exactly know what to talk about... @swiftpawslash Mistcloud’s reponse was of course a classic nod, instinctively taking a humble glance towards the dens. Agreeing wholeheartedly she quickly found a suitable response. “For sure. Our backs will always enjoy new nests, too.” She grinned as she absentmindedly pawed at a clump of grass beneath her paws, before taking another glance across the camp at Ryenstar. With a sigh she swung her head back to Lueyenblossom. “She looks pretty caught up, so who knows how long until that happens.” Blaze ♡(That’s okay! Hope that works out for you better soon.) |

Daraliheart shifted his paws awkwardly. Why did he go and make things awkward? He could've sworn that...ugh. Well, nonetheless, Daraliheart never made mistakes he could not fix. Who would praise him then?
"Well, this has become awkward and, well, I confess. I've been itching to go out all morning, and now that we so happen to have enough cats for one..." Yes, yes. This might work! Surely Ryenstar wasn't jumping down from her perch for no reason, and Seedtail was Seedtail. So not to ruin things, he refrained from chanting the gloats bubbling up inside his mind.

Seedtail gave a small nod and then looked at Daraliheart with relief as he began to speak. "G..Good idea. I was wanting to go on a patrol and stretch my legs a bit, and here comes an opportunity. So, a hunting or border patrol?" He asked, regaining his confidence immediately and lifting his head up w bit higher. If Ryenstar came along maybe he could impress her and show her his skills so he could eventually be appointed deputy? The thoughts rushed through his mind briefly but he suppressed them and promised himself that his ambition wouldn't get in the way of going on a casual, happy patrol.

LórienLeuyunblossom nodded as well, and then she shrugged, "Well, we could technically go out on our own. I doubt that Ryenstar will get mad at us." She pointed out, as it could be an actual option for them. She wasn't sure whether or not to offer that they go out on a patrol together, as she wasn't even sure that Mistcloud wanted to go out on a patrol with her. She would be to scared to be denied, so she decided that it would be best not to offer. She just smiled at nothing.
